However, the biggest thing for me personally was the writing quality and worldbuilding were actually really good in my opinion. So good infact, that I was able to continue on with a couple chapters via google translate on the raws, and it was not a huge loss in readability. Only some localisations(names of people/items/places really) from the translator felt missed. There is the nationalism aspect, however, by now we have to be used to it, even if we hate it. Plus side however, is so far by chapter 133, it is not too bad, but it is thrown in your face. So far, there has not been direct racism, only digs at "cultural" differences. Mainly such as freedom of speech vs suppressed speech. (Obvious play at supporting the CCP there.) Otherwise, it has not been too cringy for me.Pacing however, I have to say is both slow and fast. Which keeps things interesting, because you dont know when or how the plot will thicken. There are many, many loops thrown at you. This makes it so that you know the Mc will "win" in the end as usual, but how and when, is never known until it happens. This has been refreshing for me, as opposed to most fantasy/cultivation based novels. the MC's "talent" seems fairly OP at first, but is quickly nerfed, with valid enough reasoning. Feeling less and less useful to the MC. The novel also is heavily invested in mental states, and emotions being shown and how they affect both the MC and others in the course, both in the "Weird" and "Real" worlds. Of the arcs currently, the first arc, was very good, and kept me glued. The 2nd arc, felt lackluster at first, however after some time, really grew and flipped the script. As for the 3rd arc, It has been decently paced with a merge of events from both worlds perspective, and from different characters as well. Which, can be a little hard to follow the transitions, but overall decent enough. For sure will keep it going, as long as it maintains at least half of the quality it has now.For me I would give this a solid 4.5/5 so far. Only based on the #panic# Chapter 120 is missing This was a huge disappointment, the horror is lackluster at it's best, there's no thrill, no intensity, no satisfaction for completing anything. I read this for 50 some odd chapters because the first Weird World had some very interesting concepts that carried me through that Arc, but the dull headache and disappointment caught up with me at the beginning of the 2nd Arc. This is better than what I thought at first. It seems braindead in the beginning, just like many other copy and paste Chinese novels out there but there’s much more in this. While it’s not that good in my eyes, it’s unexpectedly interesting at times, like for example the second dungeon which almost made me tear up at the end. Also his power seems really op but in the more recent chapters the enemy “hosts” learned how to limit the uses of his power so he has to use his wit and mental power to get through some things. So in conclusion, i recommend this if you’re bored and feeling like reading a mystery/ horror type novel where the mc needs to navigate through this hell like dungeon and find the mysteries through his intelligence to survive. I'm at Chapter 106 now, after the end of the second Dungeon world. It's good so far. I don't really know what to call the invasion/infection of the Wierd World into reality, so will go for "infection" for this review - but it's not an ACTUAL infection, if that makes sense? The hints of nationalism in the first chapter appear worse than they actually are when you take into account the real world situation - 1 person per nation gets selected to complete the scenario. If they fail, then the Wierd World infects their country with something. If they do a normal clear, then it prevents their country from this infection temporarily. If someone does a perfect clear, it sounds like it will prevent infection for every country...I think.Given this reliance on 1 person to save everyone, the nationalism stuff makes more sense than being forced in, but it's still kinda annoying. In the 1st Dungeon World, the real world is basically useless. It is much more involved in the 2nd and likely will in some dungeons going forward. His deduction talent is fairly well written. There are some inconsistencies when it comes to him backtracking after a death when other times he can't, but overall its pretty good. It has a clear limitation that it is lower than the actual Weird World system thing, so it can't predict rewards or anything related to things outside the Dungeon world. The main thing that was kinda surprising was that, after completing the first Dungeon he was informed that he could either continue or leave. If he left, then 1 year later the infection would start whereas he could continue to challenge a Dungeon. He obviously chose to continue and the 2nd Dungeon started straight away. It looks like this was a 1 off thing, as it looks like from the second one, and going forward, he will get a 1 week break in the real world before being forced back into challenging a Dungeon world again.Edit: Each time some of the real world stuff is mentioned there are clearly very nationalistic tones within, as well as in the conclusion of the 2nd Dungeon world, but so far there hasn't been any negatives because of it - like the MC giving away something to help his 'fellow countrymen'. The real world government team thing are actually trying to help him properly, which is pretty nice. I am not defending his actions nor understand them. I genuinely do not know what he did I only read up to the Poseidon arc and most of that was skimming the manwua not the novel im pretty sure Tang San is from different series called daloulu dalao (pretty sure i write it wrong cant remember and too lazy)the protagonist of BTTH is called Xiao Yan or something (sorry im bad with names) You are right You are right I was confused and mixed up the characters the mc of btth was the the dude with the ring and the ancestor in it right? Yes , he was called Xioa Yan Is he the hated protag? Not really, he's kinda neutral, while he's not that likable but not to the point people will hate him like other Chinese protagonists for example Yun Che or Tang San is also bad Fair enough is Yun che from agaist the heavens? smoov Che is from ATG Against the gods? This stuff is all kinds of messed upWho is the guy everyone hates how is okay so many questions yet none know Well, I read a little and for Xiao Yan. It was mainly because his cultivation was higher than other, and became the de-facto boss among the youth. I think he was also a pretty well known fighter so he challenged and humiliated many kids. Then the ring thing his mother gave him started suck away his cultivation. His enemies he defeat and just people wanting to gain confidence by beating him started to use him as a punching bag.If you were asking about irl people hating him, idk, I kinda turned my brain off and read, if you wanted a meta-answer, its to give him a reason for being stronger, no one wants or likes being on the end of bullying, so it motivates him to get strongerThis is all just based on my understanding of the book. Real. Well yeah because most of the nice people are mostly dead. Seems kinda nice, but I haven't even read BTTH yet and likely never will, it seems to have a lot of the tropes, though to be fair it was to some degree a trend-setter, so you can't exactly blame it either. Still, not my cup of tea, but xianxia fanfictions are really getting popular these days, huh? We seem to have one with every release! Well the novel name sound too BTTHHmmJoin the ranobe discord, link in my What Do You Call a Benevolent and Reasonable Person in Xianxia? If you are kind you will be slaughtered in at most the next 10 chapters I've seen a few that sorta fit the bill - Lan Luo from Absolute Resonance is both reasonable and sort-of 'benevolent', though in a human sense not godly which that word always seems to imply, and Bai Xiaochun was pretty nice, too?...I mean he seems pretty nice from an outsider's perspective who never has to actually deal with him or his pill making, but I'd say it still counts. What Should I Do if the School Bully is Interested in Me

His life is in the hands of the so-called "Heroine". It feels as if a feminist wrote this novel. The MC has no backbone and his goal is to somehow survive. Totally Beta MC. He is also not powerful and the system sucks. It just shows relationship levels and gives mediocre rewards. Btw this is not a cultivation novel and defeating 6000 ordinary men in armor individually is considered a great feat. So don't hope for some mystical ability that drowns the battlefield in flames xD.My rating: 1/5 This is a fairly fun read and the characters are great. How the novel handles romancing multiple women is a bit strange but not bad. Each chapter/s is dedicated to an individual and it's like the transition between going after a different heroine is cut away so it can feel abrupt when it swaps back and forth. I think this is what gives the novel a unique feel as it doesn't give you time to forget the other girls. Also the Empress Dowager is hilariously great. Like, I want to like it? But something feels off about the book. Like it feels like there should be important info that was forgotten in th earlier chapters. Plus so far the mc I like? Him, but he’s way too cowardly toward chuchu which is understandable but I dunno, something about the book feels weird This harem novel doesn't feel like a harem novel? idk man but it is entertaining Saw the rating of 2.9 thought couldn't be that bad, oh boy was it bad. 2 chapters in and i am confused af, idk if part of the chapter is Missing or its bad translation or straight up bad writing or i am just reading it wrong but i can't go past it.
