Great novel and story so far I reccomend reading this if you're in to apocalypse,sci-fi novels To all my fellow daoists, here is a small review;(Minor spoiler alert below)First of all I had only read 3 chapter when I made this review so it won't be detailed but I feel like I can gouge the general direction this story is taking and how well it is.•First of all, Grammar and World building, if you don't know the author of this novel already has some works ongoing for a long time, so he has a good grasp on grammar and world, while not at the God level, it's still good.•Second, let's talk about world background, it's typical game type world with fantasy elements and and emotional system.•Now, let's talk about how well this novel is really;And I would say not very good.Reason;First, Mc is a genius and author makes sure that you understand it very clearly like he can literally identity chemicals by smell alone, he can memorize all programming codes of highly intelligent AI (and yes,I know that that he created it,but this doesn't make it any easier)Second, Again Mc, his personality seems cold, detached and apathetic type, and yet he somehow made a female AI with emotions, I don't understand why?He could simply made a simple AI.And if you haven't noticed it, there a Harem tag in the event section, and that is very unsettling to me.Don't misunderstand, I don't hate Harems, neither do I like them, I am rather neutral on that matter, but the reason why this is unsettling for is me, is again his personality, does he seem like a person who would love (and yes again, I have read WMW, so I understand how Harem without romance works), but the fact that Mc Is cold blooded killer who kills for fun(yes, he does because he is bored) would even bother forming a relationship is...weird.Anyway, if you are ok with the points above you go ahead and read it.Rating (personally): 3.3/5 The part when he memorized the entire ai code in 15 minutes gets me. What do you expect from an assassin? Killers have their own mindset and thoughts, you can’t judge them with your thoughts. And the reason why he might’ve made the A.I Female is to maybe cope up with loneliness. But I do agree with you about the rest. And if you haven't noticed it, there a Harem tag in the event section, and that is very unsettling to me.If this novel take WMW path it will be great but author can choose JP novels path (females "cure" mc's coldness and personality). Nice. noice Nice Read till chapter 3 and absolutely dissapointing. The mc is apparently a heaven defying genius who can almost calculate the soon to come future, only by how smart he is. He comes to an ending where he is tortured. He knew this would happen along with the destruction of his family however he let it be. The author desperately tries to describe it as the mc believing in karma and this was his fate. And the mc by doing nothing he may have avoided it. The author is contradicting himself here. Can't the f#cking mc calculate what happens if he does nothing? How did he know that by doing nothing, his family wouldn't be destroyed. Even if he had that Unlucky Star title that doesn't explain anything. What am saying is, a being like that would have NEVER, in any chance arrive at such a low point in life. In conclusion if there are so many loopholes till chapter 3, I don't want to see what happens on later chapters. Also check my comment on chapter 3 if you need more reasons not to waste your time on it. I am being so critical on this, because the author tried to write a novel that he doesn't have the capability to. Also I had my hopes up from the other reviews..... A review based on 3 chapters is not a review. Even if the novel is bad, you can't judge it just with your own opinion and perspective with less than a dozen chapters. An example of this is Grasping Evil, if you judge only by the first 100 chapters, it is something horrible, I say this because I thought so too, but after the first hundred, It was so good that it entered my top 5 novels. It is a rev even if its only the first 3 chapters. Could it be to little to be helpful yes, but does it means its bad/wrong? No because fist of he begins with having only read 3 chapters(instantly giving away how much he knows) and secondly it already can be used as a somewhat basis as to whats gonna happen, should he have read more or is his rev not good because of that? Likely, does that mean it isnt one? No it is. Also if a novel becomes good on chapter 100 than he has every right to call it trash since thats like 2 books(here it would be 4) to become good(even if it is 9+/10 after that in my opinion as a whole such a novel would at most get 8.9-10) . Even tho i think his rev isnt very valuable since its to little to be very relevant. Reviews serve multiple purposes, but their primary function is to provide a comprehensive perspective on a work, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses. The characters are quite varied and enjoyable, but there are so many that a lot of them won't show up or be given much screen time for tens of chapters. Less of an issue if you binge read it like I did, but combine that with how inconsistently the author releases new chapters and a lot of people on RR mentioned not even being able to remember who some of these characters were. There were a few times even I had to google a name to remind myself who this really minor character that was just name dropped in a flashback was.The release rate is honestly the thing holding the story back the most. The story is surprisingly coherent considering the author will get free time or the will to write, knock out 5-10 chapters over a month or two, and then go pretty absent for weeks or months. This is a story that'll eventually just end up officially dropped, an indefinite hiatus, or rushed to an ending. That being said, this novel really is more about the journey along the way than reaching the destination, so even if it were to be dropped right here it would still be worth a read. Just don't bother getting too hung up on the plot. WHY IS THE RATING SO LOW? ???????
