I read about 115+ chapters of this and just find a review that is similar on my opinion.So the short and dirty. This story is not a 10/10. It's a solid and safe 9/10. I personally have a few gripes, but that is not the fault of the author, just me as a reader. If you grew up enjoying Digimon, Zach Bell, Hunter x Hunter, and other young protag animes you will enjoy this story. If you like progression stories, or wuxias, you will like this story. If titles such as 'He Who Fights With Monsters' or 'Path of Asension' are ones you enjoy, you will like this story. Honestly this is a vibe of a story I've been missing for a whlie. The fact it's over 300 chapters makes it even better.As an overall summary, this is your classic MC starts off weak/different, finds/aquires a 'cheat' or a solution to his problem, and then becomes a top 10% fighter. So far what we are seen as a reader is limited and narrow.Style: There are times I think the writing style is a bit bland, but not in a bad way. (I know that sounds weird) In fight scenes, there isn't an over explanaion, it's just enough. I wish there was a bit more enviromental telling in certain scenes or areas, but I understand that it's not always important. Smells, temperatures, textures, maybe if wildlife noises exist or not. These are missing, but not in a way that takes away from the story. This is just me being picky. Over all, the writing style fits the story like a glove. There has never been a time where I skipped over things due to the writing.Grammar: This one is short. Handful of writting errors, but again, it never takes you out of the story but once or twice. If you reread the sentence, you will understand. There was twice where he and she were swapped with a character and it threw me off really hard, but that's it. Over all, a better speller than I am.Story: Okay, so overall plot. I feel like there are times where there isn't enough. We are told that monsters came to our world, but it's very vauge on the time scale. It's just been 'a handful of years' or 'before the MC was born' yet there are times when it seems other characters have been fighting monsters for dozens of years. That progression in society has been going on for longer than the parents of the MC have been alive. Again, that's just a minor gripe. It's a good thing I want to know more, that means the story is interesting. When it comes to lore, or explanation of powers, this is done phenomoly. There is very little over explanations. Things are discovered slowly and overtime. Never has something been explain and then forgotten. Lessons come back up, and it allows the MC to apply their knowledge correctly.I'm a bit confused on certain plot points, but I can tell the author is setting up for something significant. There is this damn rock the MC bought, and has done zero reasearch on or experimetned. He bought it because it 'felt different'. We the readers know it's important, since the MC looks at it, or reminds us he has it. But does f#ck all with it.Character: MC, is 16 years old. He acts more like a 20 year old who has been 'around the block' three times. His emotions never if rarly get the best of him. I like the character, but he does not act 16. Again, this is easily explained due to his upbrining, and the current 'new world' society. It just surprises me when we are reminded how young the MC is.I feel like he isn't a Mary Stu, but he is pushing that edge. Every encounter that was 'close to ending his life' he comes out of it with a power boost, and little to no punishents.There are sometimes that a scene was over detailed and it was kind of annoying so.....Over all3.5/5?

So, from what I can tell this novel is a Harry Potter Fanfiction, but can someone tell me why "Rubik’s Cube of Heavens" is the title? It doesn't explain that in the synopsis. For the record, I haven't read this yet.
Kinda bland. It's not so bad but not good either, something to read when there's nothing else left. 1. The Mc, the "genius", is stupid. His reasoning for things baffles me. I would've accepted if he chose gryffindor for a reason but guess why he did it? You needed to answer a question to open the Raveclaws door and it's "troublesome". Guess what he thought when he saw moving stairs up too the tower? The question was not so burdensome it seems. And guess what he did when he got a memory charm that gave him access to all memories he had? Nothing! Yes, nothing! It took him a whole month to remember to browse through his memories about Harry Potter. There's other things too but this should tell you alot.2. Nothing happens. Really. I'm at chapter 60~ and nothing serious happens. He shows how "genius" he is, studies, has bland and completely plain conversations with the teachers and that's almost all of it.3. Translation is annoying but not mtl bad. However, the writing is bad in my opinion. The characters are plain and their personalities are twisted by the author. They also talk like if they're from a Chinese cultivation novel for some reason. Overall rating: barely 2?/5?

The MC is getting blackmailed too much. His life is in the hands of the so-called "Heroine". It feels as if a feminist wrote this novel. The MC has no backbone and his goal is to somehow survive. Totally Beta MC. He is also not powerful and the system sucks. It just shows relationship levels and gives mediocre rewards. Btw this is not a cultivation novel and defeating 6000 ordinary men in armor individually is considered a great feat. So don't hope for some mystical ability that drowns the battlefield in flames xD.My rating: 1/5
This is a fairly fun read and the characters are great. How the novel handles romancing multiple women is a bit strange but not bad. Each chapter/s is dedicated to an individual and it's like the transition between going after a different heroine is cut away so it can feel abrupt when it swaps back and forth. I think this is what gives the novel a unique feel as it doesn't give you time to forget the other girls.Also the Empress Dowager is hilariously great.

Novel is so so. Had to ignore so much stuff just to read it. MC is practically a robot, no emotion, no moral, no remorse,... The main reason I dropped this novel is MC relieves heavily on his regeneration cheat skill, so he pretty much can't die which is BS in my book and also miraculous keep popping out of his ars like a rainbow. Author is telling us that if MC gets stab in the heart enough times he'll die, what a bunch of BS, that's what plot armors are for.. No one tries to hide their abilities/skills, especially the MC who flaunts his like there is no tomorrow. Why is MC escorting a noble/prince when he dispies them so much, especially when he has no interest in political affairs. Its not consistent with his personality. He's a mercenary, there are other jobs he could have taken or ignore as well, (shaking head). No one knows MC( besides his close ones) caused that one city to disappear yet he still goes to the political alliance meeting either to further incriminate or expose himself, dumb decision. Would I recommend this novel, NO.

As both a Fanfiction enjoyer(I've read thousands of them and have thousands of hours reading them) and as a SCP enjoyer I'm depressed this is a thing, when writing a story with an organisation with the global influence of the foundation you gotta treat it with some respect this author is literally shitting on the entirety of the foundation, sure it's a fanfic but come one man he's obviously read countless entries on the wiki and this guy decides to downplay the power and influence of the foundation for jacking off his self insert? I've read the first 3 chapters and I gotta say this is not a bad story the only complaint I have right now is that the SCP-Foundation i completely different than described in the wiki. In first few chapters a reasercher makes a bet with the MC, that's something someone from the SCP-Foundation would never do. Another thing is that a niece of the Site-Director has power on the site, which is an absolute no-go, especially when we're talking about a site with SCP-682 in it. So all in all probably good story, but horrendous adaptation from the source.
Well, I don't really think you're completely right. There have often been incidents in the SCP Foundation that cannot be called official or honest. Very often someone passed someone, even more often killed, somewhere there were cases of narcissism, and somewhere there were precedents like our case. What happened in the first chapters seems to me to be a normal reaction. Imagine yourself in her shoes: SpoilerYou're the head of the department, the boss of all those people, and you treat them like family. As a result, you see how your people are killed by a rabid lizard! You're going to panic. And that's not much said. What do you do if, in such a dangerous situation, you meet a guy who claims to be able to save your people to whom you are attached? Obviously, even despite the risk of loss, you will agree to all his requests and words. And even more so, the situation was already terribly disgusting, so she thought that it could almost not be worse. After all this, she even almost had a nervous breakdown when she saw all those dead bodies of her acquaintances, but she held back just because of her role as a boss. It's incredibly coolly described between the lines. So... I think it works very logically. And throughout the book, we are even shown her moral and spiritual growth as a person that I was happy to see.

Not to sound offensive to the bottom commenters but... in the nicest way I can put it, you're all very critical of a fanfiction, I repeat, a fanfiction. One of the commenters below even wrote 3 full paragraphs about how unrealistic it is, bruh, it's a fanfiction. Plus, who knows if SCP-X has a special ability geared towards trash talk? Novels are not things that are bound by logic, fanfiction even more so. Also, isn't the entire SCP concept itself unrealistic? An organization capable of toppling countries is somehow not a major target for those countries? How, somehow, even if they know they just... trust them? If an organization like that existed in real life the first thing they would encounter would be a bombardment of nukes from countries all over the world. Like seriously? Putting every single monster/demon like thing in one place? Hell freezing would yield an easier to accept result. But most people don't care, why? Cuz it's cool to think about. Is this a reimagined Death Stranding ?
Man this book has eveything I like and just about none of my dislikes. People may critique all they want but this is the best post-apocalyptic book I hav eread to date. Will probably stay that way for decades.
Very interesting, good writing, fresh (as far as this site is concerned).Only complaint is some potentially poor plotting that's to be determined. Basically the MC making some uncharacteristically dumb risk assessment and prioritization. A potentially case of the dumb hero complex. But let's see how it goes. Book2 ch50 so far.
As of right now I’m caught up with Book 2, Chapter 49. This is a very good story, the characters feel like they actually have motivation to do the actions they do while not feeling like they are just being pulled by the plot. The MC gets time to rest without really slowing down the pacing. The only real problem I have with this is some minor typos and misused pronouns (as in they change it mid sentence or after paragraphs) which doesn’t bother me too much as it is not fairly common. I really recommend reading this.
Already liking this MC, no attachment to people and their temporary love for him, realistic and goal oriented, keeping it to himself and still having some good conversation with people. Author writing is really good, not the one which usually gives you a headache just to understand something. Story is interesting as well. Author uses system and level up in this novel pretty well, risk and reward is well balanced (Not at all like some trash Chinese or korean novels with little to no risk and heavenly rewards just to make MCs OP AF). MC inspite of being a deadman (sentient Zombie) has his own gifts and vulnerabilities and it is well balanced to make story more intriguing.World settings looks more like post nuclear apocalypse with lots of radiation at certain places, mutated wildlife etc.

Well, I've always been bad in reviews, but I'll try. The novel tells about the Dead Man, which is already fresh in itself, because often we see a picture where an awesome human in the world of monsters. Further here is a very interesting world, in my opinion, the forces of the groups are balanced, a lot of unique and interesting things. I recommend this for read.

At the start, I'd say he's fairly strong, not hitting someone with a tire iron and they turn into meat gibletts but hit someone with a tire iron and have fresh food. As for friends... No not really. He ha like 3-4 friends in the beginning. Maybe has 5-7 true friends by the end.

Read this on RR a while ago and while some of the specifics of it elude me now I remember greatly enjoying it and planning to go back once it built up some backlog. It has a lot of parallels to light novels like Shield Hero and that one where the guy got pushed off bridge to the bottom of a dungeon, but is not quite so grim or dark. All told if you're up for some isekai antihero tropes this book is a pretty decent time.

Okay, as of ch 8, the MC is a transmigrated dude. His cover is a semi ineffectual school teacher at a magical academy. He acts like a normal person, and no one would be any wiser as to his true nature. In reality, he is kind if like Orochimaru. Using magic biology to experiment on his patients. To this point, I dont think he is a rapist, and is confirmed as not a cannibal. "Just" a kidnapper, killer and human experimenter. Grammar isn't horrendous in most parts, and the dialogue isn't as cringey as most Japanese is. Ironically, I think this is the most evil professor I've read till date. All those "I reincarnated into the professor/villain" novels are clueless guys somehow lucking into hot women and God tier magic. This mc has been in the world for a while, and works for his magic. I don't foresee romance in this. The mc is dedicated to his work. Sorry to you harem enjoyers, but not all stories are about dumb bitches who exist to get the MC into trouble. I dont think I've ever seen a woman in a harem have free will. Oh well that has nothing to do with the story, moving on. So in conclusion, it's not bad. But if you can't vibe with the evil path, then stay away. I advise skipping the 1st 2 chapters. In fact, Senior Brother advises skipping the 1st chapter of every novel. 1st chapters always have the most chuni/cringe elements of any story.

Started reading it on webnovel and i must say this was unexpectedly good.Most marvel fanfics that i have tried to read are too bland, but this one was really good.the jokes do get repeated sometime, but if you want a slice of life marvel fanfic then I highly recommend this one.
Not good at praising novels so im just going to list what I didnt like, someone else can review why its good Some of the jokes get reused and get old quick, like our mc being over 100 and still being a virgin. The mcs dog makes anyones personality do a 180, space pirates that kill for money fawn over his dog because of how cute it is. Soldiers in the wars just allow themselves to be commanded by a dog. The usage of (`o´) type emoticons are used too much, over 5 in one chapter, probably in the hundred thousands all combined. Im only considering to push through is to see how our mc interacts with the avengers (which is around 50 more years in the stories future where im at)Other than the negative stuff the novel touches on novels wars superhero shit and politics in interesting ways that didnt bore me too quickly. But as soon as he goes to space I just struggle to find myself investing time in this novel. 3/5 enjoyed when he was president, dont like the space stuff.Edit: space stuff was ok now that I think about it, good novel overall 4/5

There is no character development, though that is to be expected, however the comedy is good enough to carry the novel. There is also quite heavy, and I do mean heavy nationalism in the novel, though I wasn't too bothered, and it ends after about chapter 100 if I remember right.

The best thing of this novel is it's unique start, you can it's not unique because we have many this type of novel. but the start is really unique. heavy spoiler's btw SpoilerHere we can see Allen the first son of duke family which is falling from grace. Allen have normal aristocrat behavior and the mc had a brother who Julius who used to be a young prodigy so some korean reader or dude maybe possessed our mc's brother Julius. and because mc's dukedom is falling from grace they are desperate for success. and they are ignoring julius change behavior which is normal because someone possessed him but they are ignoring it. now the main story start why it's unique. the story is our mc Allen hating Julius because he is not his "real" brother. he is even disgusted to talk to him but to save his brother he is redoing his life. Overall: 9/101 minus because sometimes i get lost in the novel. the author switches topic really quickly which is hard for me to understand. but Must recommended.

Honestly, its pretty great and I only see this getting better and better. You might get confused at the start, but you'll get the hang of it later on. Characters are written well and it seems they'll develop more in the future, so that means they wont be stuck being the same old for the next 1000+ chapters. honest review, tried my best to trudge but cant make it past 300chp. this novels prob meant for ppl under 13So I gave this dubious novel a try. This is a very good novel. I started out hating it but later realized its only because the starting time period was long before the start of the OG plot. Give it a try, MC doesnt mind meddling in plot which result in a completly new story in the later chapters. Its great if you're bored of the same naruto fanfic repeating the same story with slight twsit.Author have great writing style, A perfect blend of comedy and story building and realistic character interaction. I have to say in the later chapters I have grown attached to this version of the characters which rarely happens with fanfics. I just hope, you'll give it time without judging it too early.
