"You accepted the offer," Zuri asked, she stared at Khaos, still sitting on the bed, naked. She was not happy to hear this news, especially when the first thing that he did in the early morning was meeting with another woman.

Khaos corrected her when Zuri had this yet another ridiculous complain, but she retorted that it didn't count, since she couldn't confirm that, as she was asleep.
"Yes, it will be less messy and it will quicken the plan." Khaos approached his unhappy mate. Zuri had this habit to press her lips tightly into thin line whenever she was annoyed. "This is your plan, remember? She came here to tell us that she and Wolfdale kingdom accepted our deal."
Indeed. This was Zuri's plan when she sent Bryden away. She knew that Bryden could be a good negotiator. He was also still holding the beta title, because Zuri managed to convince Khaos not to strip him off his title.
