Chapter 1053: Hiding Luca

Chapter 1053: Hiding Luca

Agent ’X’ lit the candles, and as they floated around him, he sat within the circle. He made a cut on his wrist, letting his blood flow into the bloody circle below, connecting him to the trace of his bloodline within the vial. For a moment, something mystical happened as his consciousness was pulled into the circle of blood.

Meanwhile, the witches watched. Some of them exchanged glances and then looked at the demon sitting in the center. Communicating with their eyes, one of them moved, rushing to kill Agent ’X’ as he sat. However, just like the others who had moved, she exploded in a pool of blood.

"NO one move!" Durgia screamed at the witches. This time, the others listened. An example had been made.

In the Underworld, Luca had been placed before an altar. The altar was flanked by three great statues, each towering over it with a weapon—a spear, a broad sword, and an arrow—pointed towards the altar. The statues were proud and muscular, half-naked figures.

Basketface watched as the Queen operated. The altar was decorated with exotic herbs, and two different treasures of the High Elves were brought out and placed in two positions: one above the child’s head and the second just below it.

"What are you doing?" Basketface asked. "Is something wrong with the boy?"

"Yes! His bloodline has been forcefully awakened, and now his blood is unstable. Also, whoever opened his Solomon bloodline knows the incredible value this child has and placed a tracker on him. We are going to destroy it," the Queen replied.

Basketface watched as High Elves, young and old, in long robes carrying incense, walked forward and began chanting. The Queen moved among them, staining their foreheads with the eternal water.

Luca looked at them, his eyes shining with curiosity.

Suddenly, a bloody mark of three inverted ’6’s appeared on his chest, and he fell to the ground, rolling around and screaming in pain.

As he writhed, the other negative runes on his body slowly began to glow. Outside the underground sanctuary, in the sky, a dark pool of clouds slowly formed—a Nether Gate was being opened.

The Queen saw what was happening to the boy. "Someone is tracking him, and it’s causing him pain. Quickly! We have to begin the ceremony," she spoke with urgency.

"But we are yet to finish the chant," one of the elves complained.

The Queen frowned. "Can’t you see what’s happening? If we stop now, the entire Nether Realm will visit our land. ACTIVATE THE ANCESTORS’ LAWS!" she ordered.

Immediately, some guards rushed to a corner, rolling down huge pipe-like structures. All of a sudden, some of the eternal spring water flowed toward the three giant statues above the boy, and then they glowed with life. Veins made of light appeared on the statues’ bodies, and their eyes shone incredibly bright. The weapons in their hands seemed to grow longer and more formidable.

With a fierce gaze, the Queen used her staff on the boy’s head. The staff, infused with the eternal water, glowed intensely. Luca’s screams grew louder as the pain seemed to increase. The inverted ’6’ marks on his chest pulsed with a malevolent energy, trying to resist the purification process.

The eternal spring water continued to flow, creating a shimmering pool around the altar.

The High Elves, young and old, intensified their chanting, their voices rising in a harmonious yet desperate plea. The air crackled with energy as the light veins on the statues pulsed in rhythm with the chants. The Queen moved with precision, her staff emitting a brilliant light that focused on Luca’s head.

As the Queen chanted, her words flowed in an ancient Elven tongue, each syllable resonating like the faint ringing of bells. The ground seemed to tremble in response, and the sky above the surface had already begun to spit out Nether creatures into the world.

These creatures were numerous and terrifying, their forms dark and twisted, writhing with malevolent energy. The Queen knew the urgency of the situation but did not cease her chanting.

Simultaneously, lightning from the statues began to trace a golden rune in the air. The light beams intertwined, forming intricate patterns and symbols, each one glowing brighter as the chant progressed. Luca’s cries and screams echoed through the cavernous space, his body convulsing in agony. The inverted ’6’ marks on his chest pulsed violently, as if resisting the purification process.

The High Elves intensified their chanting, their voices rising in a harmonious yet desperate plea. The air crackled with energy as the light veins on the statues pulsed in rhythm with the chants. The Queen moved with precision, her staff emitting a brilliant light that focused on Luca’s head.

As the golden rune neared completion, the Queen’s chanting grew louder and more fervent. The rune glowed intensely, hovering above Luca. The Queen’s eyes shone with determination as she raised her staff high. "Seal!" she screamed, and immediately, the golden rune descended onto the boy’s body, tracing itself onto his back.

Luca’s body went limp, and he fainted. Simultaneously, Agent X, within the witches’ ship, opened his eyes. "I got you!" he stated, standing to his feet. His eyes gleamed with satisfaction. However, before leaving, he turned to Durgia. "Be a good girl!" he commanded, his voice dripping with condescension.

As Agent X left, he felt the satisfaction of having completed his mission. He returned to his monstrous ship and immediately gave an order, "Kill all the witches." But as he did, something unexpected happened. The witches’ spaceship suddenly glowed red and disappeared on the spot.

Agent X smiled at this turn of events. "Not bad! She is smart. She knew I would still kill them and escaped in time," he remarked, a hint of admiration in his voice. The cunning move by Durgia had allowed the witches to escape, at least for now.

In the meantime, the Queen and the High Elves watched as the golden rune finished embedding itself into Luca’s back. The air was still full with tension, but a sense of relief began to wash over them. The immediate threat had been neutralized, but the battle was far from over.

After all, another threat was coming.

Agent X’s ship vanished from its spot in an instant, only to reappear moments later above a particularly deserted land in the underworld. This of course, was the use of Law.

The ship’s sudden presence caused a ripple of fear to spread through the nearby regions. Denizens of the underworld, sensing the arrival of a powerful entity, fled in all directions, their movements frantic and desperate.

In the air, nether creatures attacked the inhabitants below. These twisted abominations, born from the darkest corners of the Nether Realm, were vicious and relentless. However, the underworld was home to many formidable supernatural creatures, each with a fierce determination to defend their territory. Battles erupted in various locations, the air thick with the sounds of clashing and roaring.

Centaurs, with their powerful bodies and swift hooves, charged into the fray, their weapons gleaming as they struck down nether creatures. Beasts of the earth, massive and primal, erupted from the ground, their roars shaking the very foundation of the land as they tore through their enemies. Even the dried camel people of the desert, their skin cracked and parched from the harsh environment, fought valiantly, their resilience and cunning making them formidable opponents.

Agent X stood on the deck of his ship, overlooking the chaotic scene with a cold, detached expression. His eyes scanned the battlefield, taking in the sight of supernatural creatures fighting desperately to repel the nether invaders.

He had come for something else. When he had done the trace on his bloodline, he did not know that it would take him to the underworld.

The underworld was practically a neutral land for demons of all kinds and all families.

No one truly owned the place, but it was the first place that the demons began their campaign to take over the other realms the moment they left Hell.

Because of interference while he did his tracking, Agent X was not able to find the exact spot that his bloodline was at. But he did, get the general location.

The nether gate that had brought forth these creatures was now sealed, its ominous presence no longer a threat.

He watched as the forces of the underworld slowly began to gain the upper hand, their combined strength overwhelming the nether creatures.

But he could not help but frown as he thought to himself, "where are you hiding?"

For now, even if he did another trace, he would definitely not find Luca, and deep down, he knew this too. he had felt it when the connection was sealed off. Like a door with no more access to Enter.

This could of course mean that by some means, the child had died. then again, the nether creatures appearing in this place was a mystery.
