Chapter 1155: Lenny Vs The Seal
Chapter 1155: Lenny Vs The Seal
Lenny looked at them and smiled, his lips curling in quiet satisfaction. The holy power still radiated around him, an aura of untouchable strength.
He could feel it coursing through his veins, shielding him from any harm they might attempt. Naamah glared at him, her frustration was barely hidden in her voice as she spoke.
"Even if you manage to break the Seal and reach the Core of the Morningstar, you won’t be able to hide it from us, Lenny," she hissed. "We will hunt you down and take it. You won’t keep it for long."
But Lenny didn’t care about her threats. Her words were meaningless now. With a glance at the two defeated beings, he turned his eyes skyward.
The void of space loomed above, the gateway to Purgatory awaiting him. Without a word, he bent his knees, the power in his body surging, and with a mighty leap, he launched himself into the air, breaking free from the ground with incredible force.
He soared higher and higher, defying gravity, his body cutting through the atmosphere as he headed for the ethereal plane known as Purgatory, floating in the infinite void of space.
Once Lenny had left, Seraphiel turned to Naamah, his voice laden with doubt. "Are we doing the right thing? Letting him go like this?"
Naamah’s dead eyes flickered with calculation. "It’s better to hunt him with the Core in his possession than leave it locked within Purgatory for another thousand years," she replied, a dark smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "In fact, we should pray for him to get it. Because once he does, we’ll know exactly where to strike."
Meanwhile, high above the battle-scarred ground, Lenny stood in the cold expanse of the void. Before him stretched the massive plane of Purgatory, its sprawling form suspended like a celestial island amidst the stars. It was a sight to behold—both terrifying and beautiful.
From above, Purgatory glistened with regal colors that shimmered beneath the holy light that bathed it. Rich purples and deep blues swirled together like flowing silk, intertwined with streaks of gold and crimson that bled across the landscape. It was a land both majestic and cursed, exuding an ancient power that whispered through the void like a long-forgotten symphony.
Surrounding the vast plane was the Seal—an enormous barrier of holy energy that encased Purgatory, glowing faintly like a crown of soft white light. It pulsed with life, a sentient force that held the realm in place. But a massive part of the Seal was damaged, fractured like shattered glass. The cracks stretched wide and long, and from them, a dull, mournful light flickered. Even from where Lenny floated, he could hear it—the Seal’s cries, its pain resonating through the void like the echoes of a wounded creature.
The Seal was alive, and it was suffering. Its agony rippled through space, the sound a soft, heart-wrenching melody that filled the silence around him.
Lenny’s gaze drifted downward, his eyes tracing the intricate patterns of the holy barrier. It was still healing itself, trying to repair the damage that had been done. But it was weak, vulnerable. He could feel it, the fragility of the Seal’s power—and he knew that with the right strike, it could be broken for good.
The only problem was that this right strike in this case was not just brute force. He had to literally engage with the Seal.
And so Lenny dove in. The moment he did, he let loose the Holy Power that flowed in his veins. he had become the subject that attacked the seal.
And then his mind met with that of the Seal. however, while his was fluid with pictures and language, the seals was ridddled with ridiculous puzzles, each box a miniature consciousness connected to a whole.
it was both fascinating and yet a touch of scary. Not because lenny thought he could be armed by it, but because he knew that he was nothing compared to such profoundness. It was like a toddler trying to play a chess game with a grand master.
Regardless, it was going to happen.
Even Lenny could tell that without the gift that the Sisters of Eve had given him, he would have been swallowed the moment he tried to hit heads with this profound entity.
The sphere in the competition was nothing compared to this Seal. In fact, even though it was modelled after it, and right now, the seal was injured, it was still many times more complicated than the sphere.
Those that had challenged it then, including the Old Elf would have been nothing but speck of dust on a wood’s surface.
Lenny’s plan for solving the seal was many fold. Firstly, he was going to use the force of his Holy power to put pressure on the Seal during which his mind was going to clash with the wonders that the seal was.
And so it began. Lenny immediately activated Will, and then he activated Will aagain. After which he activated Berserker, and then he activated Influencer.
He was going to give it his all. Even wounded, the seal was an entity most entities would respect for fear.
Breaking through the first layer of the seal was easy, as it was already fractured.
BOOM
As It broke its cries resounded through the cosmos. And those eyes in the void all turned its way. After all, someone was doing the unimaginable and was actually making head way.
Those within the void were getting ready for three things. If Lenny succeeded, they were spoils to gain from a plane like Purgatory.
Secondly, it would also be the release of the Fallen Angels into the world. Meaning the war with the royal Demon families will see another boon.
And then the last one, if Lenny was to fail, then his corpse itself would be fought for. After all, one that would challenge Purgatory had to have incredible value.
Lenny progressed once more, breaking into the Seal, and then a voice entered his head, "I was.. long before the substance of time, gave your kind its wisdom of actualization..."
