Eighteen’s Bed

Chapter 28.5

Chapter 28.5

“Crazy, damn it, Go Yohan has finally crossed my limits.”

The back of my neck chilled, and I quickly turned my body, slapping my hand over Go Yohan’s mouth. I must have pressed harder than I meant to, because his lips were pressed into my palm, half-turned.

“You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you? Right now.”

His eyes narrowed sharply over my hand. Pretty crescent-shaped slits. Then the slender lines of his face wavered up and down. Go Yohan nodded, his head held to my hand. That crazy bastard.

I glanced around and suddenly realized that my actions were more noticeable than Go Yohan’s words. My face burned, and I felt embarrassed beyond belief. I quickly pulled my hand away from his mouth and moved my feet to walk faster.

With so many people around, just a few steps made the space feel suffocating. Even without looking, I could roughly gauge the size of the people around me. Animals are like that, after all.

So I was quietly relieved. The large body following behind, I thought, was Go Yohan’s.

“It’s so cramped, it’s killing me.”

That was, until I heard an unfamiliar voice.

I hurriedly looked up. The spot I had thought Go Yohan would be in was now occupied by a man I’d never seen before. And to top it off, I accidentally made eye contact with him. I screamed internally and quickly looked down.

Where the hell did Go Yohan go?

I raised my head again, scanning the area. Just as a sense of inexplicable despair was about to break out, a small vibration came from my hand. I quickly looked at my hand to see that I had a call from Go Yohan.

“H-Hello?”

  • Yes, it’s me.

Was this really the time for such pointless jokes? The tension that had risen sharply had instantly cooled in the face of this ridiculous situation.

“I lost you.”

  • Well, who told you to wander off alone?

“Don’t talk to me like that just because I’m twenty.”

  • You should have at least not gotten lost first.

“I wasn’t lost, I got swept up in the crowd. If I’m lost, then you’re lost too.”

  • Aw, right. Yohan is so, so scary.

“….”

I didn’t expect him to admit it so easily. His low voice and childish lisp caught me off guard, and I had trouble breathing. It felt too awkward and confusing… but why was it kind of cute?

  • It’s fine. I’m following you right now. You’re so small that I can’t see you, though.

Go Yohan’s nonsense quickly dissipated any strange feelings I had. Damn it, he was acting all high and mighty because of his height. I frowned and looked around. Wait, even now, my line of sight isn’t that low.

“I can see you.”

  • Stop lying.
