?Chapter 127: Chapter 127: Weibo (1)_1 Chapter 127: Chapter 127: Weibo (1)_1 Liang Chen rarely saw Jing Haohao, maybe once every three to five days. Typically, they would lie silently together after turning off the lights. Then Liang Chen would abruptly roll over, laying on top of her.
There was no sweet pillow talk between the two. Jing Haohao still resisted Liang Chen greatly. Every time this happened, she felt as though time was moving extremely slowly.
Liang Chen liked to hold Jing Haohao while falling asleep, yet she wasn’t comfortable in his arms. She would rest against his warm chest, waiting for him to completely fall asleep, then she would gently escape his embrace and move to the furthest corner of the bed to sleep alone.
Sometimes in the deep of night, Liang Chen would wake up to an empty embrace. When he would find Jing Haohao curled up with her back to him, her frail body curled up into a small ball far away from him, he would lose all traces of sleepiness.
Over time, Liang Chen grew accustomed to it. He would wait for Jing Haohao to slip out of his arms, fall asleep, then he would pull her back into his embrace.
Most of the time he woke earlier than her, so when he rose, she would still be sound asleep. Jing Haohao did not realize that every night, she was held in Liang Chen’s arms while she slept.
Autumn in Jiangshan City is short. As soon as fall arrived, the temperature would quickly drop. At Half Mountain, the temperature was even four or five degrees lower, so Jing Haohao stopped going out to the balcony in the evening to avoid Liang Chen. Instead, she went to bed early.
Her cell phone was still in Liang Chen’s possession, she had no way to contact the outside world, and she was idle all day in this huge villa.
Even though on that night, Liang Chen called the bank in her presence and let Shen Liangnian go, she was still deeply concerned about Shen Liangnian. She did not know how his company was doing, she didn’t know how he was doing either. As she had disappeared for so long, she wondered if he had been extremely worried.
Lately, Liang Chen came back to the villa for dinner every night. The servants in the villa were prepared as if for a major event, and they began planning for dinner starting at less than three o’clock in the afternoon.
Jing Haohao was alone lying on the balcony of the master bedroom on the second floor, sunbathing and watching the sunset.
Today, Liang Chen came back from work very early, he was back in the villa by 4pm.
The servants were surprised to see him return, then they stopped their busy tasks, greeted him properly: “Mr. Chen.”
As Liang Chen took off his coat, he asked, “Where’s Haohao?”
“Miss Jing is upstairs.”
Liang Chen didn’t speak but nodded, then headed directly upstairs.
The door to the master bedroom on the second floor was open. As he stepped out of the elevator, he could see Jing Haohao lying on the balcony, looking out of the windows.
She was so engrossed in her view that she didn’t even notice when he entered the room.
