As the main events of the Continent Union Celebration were still in preparation, the foreign guests had no other choice but to mingle with each other, enjoying the beautiful and serene atmosphere of the royal palace.

As a member of the hosting royal family, Lorelai was obligated to be present during every such gathering, providing the best entertainment possible from her side. She had already missed several parties while locked in her room, and she knew it would be unforgivable if she were to continue ignoring the rules.

Having taken a long break from work while locked inside her room, the amount of paperwork Lorelai had to take care of was already overwhelming. She tried to return to her usual pace right away, but no matter how many additional hours she put in, the palace work never ended.

"Your Highness," Marianna walked up to the princess and placed a tall champagne flute between the fingers of her left hand. "Drink it; you will feel a lot better."

Lorelai obeyed and took a few sips of refreshingly cool champagne.
