Predictably, the servant started crying.

"Queen Mother, I'm not lying. You can investigate everything and how close I am to Lady Rosela," the servant pleaded, her voice shaking as she did her best to defend herself. 

"I… I practically owe h-her my everything and my life… So even though I was scared, I followed what s-she said. She promised she will take care of me and give me everything I-I want as soon as she becomes the new Queen… She thinks that she deserves to be the rightful Queen…"

While everyone was busy and Rosela was trying to explain herself and pointing the blame to the servant, Mineah took her time to recharge herself. She might need it soon, so it was better for her to fill her energy reserves now while everyone was distracted. 

She usually did it while meditating, but lately, she discovered that she could easily get energy from Nikolai without much effort. It was probably because of their bond and his mark on her that made it happen no matter where or when she needed it.

Done with her quick recharge, Mineah turned to the Queen Mother and said, "Queen Mother… If you'll allow me, I want to suggest a better way to find out the truth."
