Mineah quickly returned the bangle back to Dahlia because of the powerful protection spell it holds, not to mention how it was currently linked to her body with an invisible thread. Clearly, Zoran didn't want Dahlia to remove it from her person for a good reason, so Mineah ended up deciding that she would just bring Tarah along with her to see Dahlia instead as soon as possible.

With her curiosity sated, Mineah left Dahlia to her work. She still had a lot of things to do herself after all. Currently, she was on her way to the library when Nikolai suddenly appeared beside her, not even giving her a warning as he grabbed her hand and held it firmly.

"Aunt Alexa is already there," Nikolai casually pointed out. "How is Dahlia?"

"Tending to the greenhouse to keep herself occupied," Mineah informed him. "She's so worried about Zoran that she has to keep herself distracted. Knowing that, I'm planning to borrow Tarah and hopefully, she can get something that can help locate the man and somehow establish contact with him." 

She turned to Nikolai and added, "He also put on a very powerful protective spell on the bangle Dahlia is wearing. That bangle will react if ever she's in danger, and it's also connected to her with a binding thread. Clearly, he truly cares for Dahlia."
