The next day, Dani went on with her usual work routine, assisting the Queen.

"So at what time are you planning to meet Laura? Can I go instead?" Krisha tried to coax Dani as they organized some of the paperwork inside Mineah's office.

Dani rolled her eyes. She could only thank her lucky stars that Zalla was not there with them and she had to only deal with Krisha.

"Later… And no, you can't. I have my reasons for meeting Laura, Krisha, so please stop asking me about it. Kindly finish this work and see if there's anything else you can help with. I will leave now," she said before leaving Krisha alone. She was sure that by now Abel would be on his way back to his residence so she walked there.

Surprisingly, Abel's servant easily let her inside the residence. They were not quite strict with the rules so Dani had the opportunity to roam around inside his house. No one even dared approach and ask her to stay in a particular area. They simply smiled and greeted her.

"Hmm, the servant said that I should turn left," Dani murmured as she made her way to Abel's study chamber where she decided to wait for him. The servant offered to guide her but she refused.
