"You see, I believed I was no longer capable of loving when I turned into a vampire. What I felt for Rosela was a great sense of responsibility because I…took her maidenhood."

"Let me go now. I want to leave this instant!" Dani barked out, using her spell against Abel. "Don't hold me back or follow me!" 

At her word, he quickly released her. She then turned around and quickly left. The spell still had an effect on him, so he still felt it whenever she used it against him. Unfortunately, Fritz was unable to break the spell completely, only managing to take away the pain whenever he refused to follow Dani's command. Still, he was glad for it since it was enough for this thrall chaining spell not to hold him back.

Taking a step forward, he moved to follow her. He wanted to follow Dani and ask her why she was acting like this when he just wanted to clarify things about Rosela and Dahlia. He just didn't want her to misunderstand the situation and make the mistake of pushing him away to Dahlia.
