The Male Leads Are Trapped in My House

Chapter 285

Chapter 285

Westmore City Center Clock Tower

Standing at the very top, Jose loaded his sniper rifle. His primary weapon, the Sharps rifle, was now fully prepared.

He briefly gazed at the tightly shut gates of Westmore, attempting to gauge the time. It wouldn’t be long before Haig’s reinforcements arrived through Gate 10.

An unusual atmosphere had settled over the city of Westmore.

Kuuuuu—! Bang!

Kyaaaaaaah—!

From within the ancient castle walls of Westmore, the sound of a great explosion and the screams of people echoed relentlessly.

Jose turned his attention toward the Mahithilde Arena. He could see Amy and Vanilla inside the arena, directing the citizens to take refuge.

“Amy, I’ll cover you. Get the citizens to the Mahithilde Arena with Vanilla. You can handle it, right?”

“Why should I save these people? Can’t we just let them all die?”

Amy’s sharp response was met by Vanilla’s voice.

“Amy Wharton, get a hold of yourself. You don’t have to destroy your humanity just because of people like that.”

We save them first. Judgment comes afterward.

Thud thud thud thud thud—

Jose, while still aiming through his rifle’s sights, raised his head. The ground beneath him was shaking.

It seemed like the vibrations were coming from inside Westmore’s ancient castle. The troubling thing was that this ominous energy wasn’t felt just there.

Goooaaaar—

This time, a massive roar sounded from beyond Westmore’s city defense walls. It came from the direction of the capital, Benton.

“Damn, what the hell? What’s going on?”

Jose tightened his grip on the sniper rifle, his face tense. Just then, Haig’s armed reinforcements emerged through the 10th Mansion.

Crash! Ka-ka-ka-ka-BOOM!

The old castle of Westmore, specifically the White Castle’s gates, collapsed along with the city walls.

Jose saw it—countless monsters flooding out from the castle, like a tidal wave, overtaking the city.
