"I will come to check on you later. If you need anything, don't hesitate to tell Mill." He brushes her cheek with his thumb of the same hand that held her chin.

"Okay," she said. It was hard to keep staring into his eyes. It felt as if he was looking right into her.

He dropped his hand from her chin, "Good. Don't cause any trouble." He said as he walked away from her.

"Huh? I don't cause trouble," she called to his retreating back.

"Sire," Mill said with a bow when he got to where she stood by the door.

He looked at her, "Let me know as soon as anything is wrong."
