"She frowned, "You are not joining me?" She asked when he just sat by the edge of the bed after tucking her in.

"Need to wash first," he said nonchalantly and proceeded to take off his shirt.

Mauve felt all the blood rush to her head as she tried to keep her composure. It didn't help that he made constant eye contact with her as he took his shirt off.

She looked away from him and said, "Yeah, I-I forgot about that." Mauve's eyes turned to slit as she spoke. Why was she stuttering?
