Chapter 191: 191. Love Mark

Mauve opened her eyes and immediately realized she was alone. She groaned as she sat upright rubbing her eyes. The drapes on the window were pulled back. That was the only source of light in the room.

Mauve squinted as she stared out of the room. It looked pretty dark outside. Just how long has she been asleep? She swung her legs off the side of the bed and stood up.

The world spun and Mauve fell back. She grabbed her head as she landed on the bed. "Ugh," she groaned as she held her head. It felt a little heavy in her palms.

She gave it a few seconds and then stood up, this time around she stood up slowly. She braced herself for another spin but nothing happened. Dropping her hand down, she carefully made her way out of the room.

She turned the handle, opened the door, and was greeted with darkness. Mauve swore, how was she supposed to navigate her way back to her room? 

She turned back to look at the room and then walked out the door. She closed the door behind her and took a step forward. She knew it was a straight path to the room but she wasn't sure what door exactly or how many steps it would take her to get there.
