She put her palm to her lips and chuckled, "You're cute when you're obedient."

His expression soured some more and Erick instinctively stretched out his hand to grab her but she stepped out of his reach just as his hand was about to touch her.

Her gaze darkened. "Erick, it seems you don't understand the situation you're in, just one word from me and…" She paused dramatically and slowly spun on her heels.

"Enough! I am not dealing with this shit." He yelled and walked past her, brushing her out of the way as he made his way up the next set of stairs.

She chuckled as she watched him go, her shoulders shaking as if she was fighting to control herself.
