Louis squinted his eyes, "He didn't tell you our mother's name?"

"No, he didn't."

She tried to hide her sadness as she replied but it wasn't easy to. She felt left out.

"That asshole, explains why you know nothing about me. There is no way he could have spoken about any of them without my name popping up."

"I am sure he was preoccupied with other things and it's not like I asked and he didn't tell me. I never asked."

She truly never asked but it was hard to do so and Jael always seemed to want to keep things to himself. It was hard to tell if she could pry or not.

"Stop making excuses for him. He is an asshole, that is all there is no it."

"You sure do call him vulgar things," she said and turned from him again.

It was a little weird. She has never met anyone who spoke ill of Jael. She supposed it meant their relationship was strong but she wasn't sure.

"Do you mind?" He asked, peering at her face. "Or is it that I should never speak in such a manner in front of a lady?"

She gave him a little squint, "I couldn't care less about that. He is still my husband, you know and I will be the last to admit he isn't perfect. So, I will appreciate it if you don't call him names so much."

"Aren't you nice and considerate?" Louis said. "Even though he has failed in all his duties."
