Mauve blinked at his words, her eyes moving to his lips. The familiar husky tone that usually indicated his arousal, tugged at her.

She lifted her gaze so she could meet his eyes and Mauve felt herself drown in it. She lifted her arms and wrapped them around his neck. She pulled him down to her and pressed her lips against him.

She caught his lower lip between hers and slowly sucked on it, deepening the kiss until there wasn't any space for air to get into her lungs.

She pushed her tongue into his mouth and Jael pressed his body against hers. She pulled away, not missing the disappointment in his eyes.

"You can't kiss me like that and then end it so abruptly."
