"I've missed the taste of your blood," he replied as he kept licking, letting not even a drop of blood go to waste. 

His fangs had shrunk but Bel could still feel how rigid he was with her legs around his waist, and for a while, she entertained the idea that he wasn't the only one whose thirst was getting satiated. But it quickly came crashing down when Jael pulled away and disentangled her legs from his waist.

"How do you feel?" he asked, peering at her face more than he needed to. She knew he was making sure he didn't overdo it, but she wasn't so weak that a mere sip would have that effect.

"I am fine, and I am really happy you told me you wanted to feed."

"You are?" He asked.

"Yeah, don't act like you don't know."

"Surely, it must be a nuisance that I constantly need to feed off you. It should bother you."

"Bother me?" She asked. "No, of course not. I wish you had done this sooner." She glued her eyes to his chest, she didn't think she could meet his eyes after saying those words.

He carefully lifted her head so she had no choice but to look into his eyes. "Are you saying you like it when I drink your blood?"

His eyes glowed slightly as he looked at her, the undertones of his words were hard to miss.
