Chapter 434: The Unwelcomed One.

Chapter 434: The Unwelcomed One.

"Forbidden arts: BLACK TOMB!"

"He created a new skill on the spot that would usually guarantee the death of all of his enemies, this is not that different from the instant-death skill Sol Vestic used against that demon girl who overstepped her boundaries and killed Ikaris' unborn child.

Usually something of this scale would be a surefire way to kill your enemies... but Umbra..."

Giza observed from a pocket dimension eating the second serving that she had received from the Uon waiter before taking his life. "What now? After you have used a skill that guarantees death to everything?" She asked.

Black Tomb spread across the system like a plague simultaneously destroying every lifeform in its wake, the goal was to kill everything or at least come close to that goal, but when the dark mana dispersed and the Man could find no sign of life, he hunched forward with one eye half closed in disbelief.

"I did it-"

"Did you?" He heard a voice behind him, a sole makka beast remained from all the billions.

"What the hell...?" Umbra slowly turned, staring at how drastically different this one was compared to the others. "I didn't sense it, wait; I still don't sense it."

"Everything is gone now," The beast continued speaking plainly.

Its head remained like its brethren, eyeless, noseless with a large mouth that seemed to grow from the thick neck and shoulders.

It stood bipedal just a bit taller than himself with arms regularly proportioned and beast-like feet with three toes and a short tail slowly waving behind it.

"You have killed all my bretheren, my sons, my daughters, everyone I adored slain by you, intruder." It began snarling. "Provoking the hungry and daring to attack them for baring their teeth, how dare a lower species-"

"What the fuck did you just call me?" Umbra, so taken aback by what was happening just stood there staring at the monster that had gained the ability to speak along with adapting its body to fight beings like himself.

"A lower form, Ender, you may be strong, but you are indeed inferior to us... to myself," Its mouth formed into a wide smile with saliva slowly floating away into the void. "All that remains is you, Ender, so I will devour you and then leave this emptiness, everything, everywhere, I will devour it all."

"What's going on here, what exactly has it become?" Umbra thought aloud, rubbing his forehead where he could feel phantom sweat even though he was in a place where sweating was impossible.

"What have I become?" The evolved Makka beast repeated the question, leaning its eyeless head to its hand and then raising it to Umbra again. "Thanks to you; I do not know what I am anymore, but I know I have a purpose now, I will return the resentment you have shown me upon you and when there is nothing left to destroy I will cease to be.

"Oh?" Giza sat forward, staring at the monster with new-found fascination. "He managed to create something unprecedented!"

"Accept your fate, Ender," The makka beast began striding towards Umbra casually, and the man opposing him began backing away on instinct, he raised his left hand defensively and then lowered it again, cautious, timid, afraid.

"Umbra, what are you doing?" Giza wanted to call to him again, but hesitated because of the situation he had found himself in; he had created a monster that not only welcomed death, but was also immune to it.

"If you run away now, I will abandon you into the care of Sol Vestic myself!" She began squeezing her beverage causing it to spill into her lap while black veins slowly fprmed across her skin showcasing her agitation at what she was witnessing. "How can I call you my lord when you run away in the face of danger?" She began grinding her teeth. "Sol Vestic would never run from this!"

"What happened to the man from Atla, what makes you and the Original Sol so fucking different!?" Giza's fist clamped shut and the heavens began roaring around them. "Have I truly been wasting my time?"

Amidst Umbra's retreat, the man suddenly stopped, black electricity rolling across his body like waves before there was an audible snap inside os his head.

"Like hell I'm gonna turn tail and run," Umbra, almost as if he was reading Giza's mind began chuckling; cackling until his muse turned into pure excitement and fascination. "This is great!"

"This is perfect!"

"I have lived a fucking freakshow of a life for a moment like this!!" Umbra roared, his eyes rolled over turning pure black, and the potency of his mana began thickening inside of him while his residual mana in their surroundings vanished, returning to him as well.

"Kill me?"

"Devour me?"

"I may not have donned the name, but I am still the same bastard, I am still as much of him as he is of me, that's what makes this hysterical, I can feel it the perfect fighting condition where I can just cut loose and black out!" Umbra began approaching the beast as well, slipping from himself with every small stride he took until the two of them were face to face.

"They may come in more shapes and forms than I do, but don't you ever forget Makkan, I am the original monster, I am the bastard, I am the bane of life itself, if I can't kill you I will make you beg for death, immortality is a bitch!!"

"Just like Atla; Just like home."

Giza took a deep breath and sighed, leaning into her seat and watching as Umbra completely lost his wit, slamming his forehead against the teeth of the Makkan and shattering them before he and the beast began tearing away at each other, tooth and claw.

"I will be more patient," She smiled.

Unlike Sol who had people to protect and was readily in a state of awakening because of it, Umbra needed something of this level, a beast that completely outclassed him to even begin the same process.

Horns violently forced themselves from the sides of his head, a tail grew from his spine at the end of which grew seven sharp horns forming a thagomizer, large wings burst from his back leaving gushing blood mixed with his thick mana floating into the emptiness of space while he underwent his first true transformation, suddenly quadrupling his strength.

Umbra had achieved a form closer to Giza's true self than even Sol had, while the latter managed to become a Primordial Demon God, Umbra had turned into the real thing, every fiber of his being, even his soul transformed.

A transformation of Dark Aberration; The Unwelcomed One.

"I'll leave you in a state worse than death that not even you can recover from!

If you keep evolving then so will I, not even you can protect your soul from being devoured Makkan!"

"Make no mistake, you are nothing but prey to me!"
