Chapter 1989: Hybrid God Spark
Chapter 1989: Hybrid God Spark
Making a World Will respond to one's call was not easy.
It was even more difficult to make a deal with it. Mainly because it did not need any physical riches or resources.
And that was when the idea of using Raashim's God Origin came in.
More than that, he had something even more valuable to offer—a ruined Divine Domain filled with billions of souls. Souls that had been trapped, wandering inside a crumbling world between life and death.
To Labh Salem, those souls were like lost sheep. Some of them had originated here. Others had passed through. Either way, they had no god now. No anchor. No home.
Labh Salem's World Will couldn't reach them on its own. They were technically outside its boundaries.
But Eren had the key.
The God Origin of Sea God Raashim was like the master key to a locked vault. With it, he could open the path for Labh Salem's World Will to reclaim those souls and pull them back into its cycle of life and death.
To mortal and regular mana practitioners, possessing souls did not mean anything. But to a World Will, it was a matter of growth.
The more mortal souls it held, the stronger its influence, the richer its lands, the more prosperous its mana veins. Eren had offered exactly what it instinctively craved.

The air turned still. Too still. It was as if the world itself had paused to hold its breath.
Eren felt it before he saw or heard anything. This was Labh Salem's World Will focusing its full attention on him.
A strange ripple passed through his mind. The message didn't enter through his ears. It went straight to his thoughts.
[ Child of the First Light, we accept your offer ]
Eren's eyes twitched.
Child of the First Light? he thought, puzzled. The title wasn't familiar. It didn't sound like something given casually.
Hm? What does that mean?
He asked the Will in his mind.
There was no answer. The stare continued, heavy as ever, but the World Will had no interest in clearing his doubts. There was no normal way of communicating with a hive-mind. One could only communicate in a yes and no or through their actions.
Eren sighed quietly and pushed the confusion away. He had more important things to do. He activated the Soul Link with Thalisa.
"Unseal it," he said simply.
Far away from the altar, deep beneath the sea where the water was black and the pressure could crush most creatures instantly, Thalisa opened her eyes.
She floated with her arms crossed, encased in a shimmering bubble of sea mana. The God Origin rested inside a conch-shaped artifact in front of her.
Without a word, Thalisa extended her hands.
The conch opened.
The waters trembled.
At first, it was just a swirl. Then came the roars—typhoons, huge crashing waves, underwater tremors. The sea turned wild like a beast shaking in rage.
Whirlpools spun into towers. Storms howled from beneath. If this had happened near Baga Island, the entire island might have been swallowed whole.
But Thalisa had made sure to drift far enough. She held her ground in the storm, watching as a streak of light shot out from the conch. It was the God Origin. The glowing mass of divinity shot upwards and then into the depths of the sea, flying straight toward the unseen presence that was Labh Salem's World Will.
The Origin disappeared. Just like that. Thalisa exhaled and dropped her arms. The task was done.

Back at the altar.
The divine water droplet that represented the unstable, fractured faith-based God Spark of Raashim started to tremble.
It floated between Eren's hands, wrapped in Soul Sense, surrounded by an aura of power that was far beyond normal understanding.
Labh Salem's World Will surrounded it with a heavy pressure—pushing, shaping, changing.
Eren didn't waste time. He raised his hand and bit his index finger. A single drop of his blood floated to the water droplet, mixing into it.
At the same time, he closed his eyes and used his Soul Sense to push his own Individuality—his Elder Ichor divinity—into it.
The droplet pulsed. It fought back at first. Raashim's traces still lingered. But the pressure of the World Will was unrelenting. So was Eren.
Slowly, Raashim's lingering intent was burned away.
And then it happened. The drop began to shift.
It thickened. It brightened. Then, with a soft shimmer, it started to take form.
A tiny shape appeared—no larger than Eren's palm. A young, glowing naiad with watery blue skin and flowing hair. Her eyes were closed, arms curled around herself like she was sleeping in the womb of the world.
The Spirit floated weightlessly.
This was the reforged God Spark. And it was very unique.
Normally, a God Spark would begin its journey as a Spirit Beast or something close to it.
This naiad, however, had been born under special circumstances—reshaped by a World Will, carrying Eren's Elder Ichor imprint, and influenced by Thalisa's Immortal Spirit presence.
She indeed represented a faith-based God Spark. However, because it was reforged with the help of Labh Salem's World Will, she also carried the properties of an elemental God Spark. One could call her a hybrid God Spark.
Eren opened his eyes and stared at the floating naiad.
A faint smile touched his lips.
"It's done," he whispered.
Eren took one last look at the small, sleeping naiad floating before him.
The Spirit glowed softly, wrapped in the delicate threads of Eren's Soul Sense, and surrounded by a light mist that gave her an almost dream-like appearance.
She was born from a Godfall, forged by a World Will, and filled with boundless potential.
He turned his eyes to the side, toward the massive figure standing nearby.
"Brother," Eren called out.
The sea monster turned to face him, his tall and wide frame casting a shadow over half the altar. His blue skin shimmered in the new dawn's light.
Though he still had cuts and bruises from his battle with the SS-Rank automaton, he stood tall and calm.
"Are you ready?" Eren asked.
