Chapter 191 Everything hurts
"Invocation: True Corrosion," murmured Charlotte softly.
The enormous butterfly spread its wings with majestic motion, and small specks of purple light danced around it, creating a beautiful aura. Fallen, with its six eyes fixed on the creature, seemed intrigued by the presence of the butterfly but didn't let down its guard.
Suddenly, the sun high in the sky began to move unusually, tilting toward the butterfly as if being drawn by some invisible force. In the blink of an eye, a network of purple threads materialized around it, forming a magical cage that seemed to enclose Fallen within.
The butterfly emitted a sharp screech. With astonishing speed, the threads tightened, wrapping Fallen in their invisible embrace. The cords tightened, and the butterfly lunged toward the titan.
"Explode!" shouted Charlotte urgently, her voice resonating over the battle's clamor. The butterfly glowed with dazzling intensity, its wings radiating a blinding light that filled the battlefield. Fallen's roars mingled with the explosion's thunder, a overwhelming wave of energy shaking the ground and filling the air with a rain of purple sparks.
BOOOOOM!! BOOOOOM!!
In response to this explosion of power, Daniela acted swiftly. With a gesture of her hands, she created a magical dome that rapidly expanded to encompass all her companions, shielding them from the chaos unleashed by the explosion. Within the dome, a tense silence seized the group as they waited for the outcome.
The tremor that shook the surrounding space was so intense it seemed as if their very mountain was on the verge of collapsing upon them. Daniela, her complexion pale and eyes filled with concern, felt the magical lineage flowing in her blood fading, just like that of the other fighters around her.
Even Charlotte, with her impressive mana reserves, was affected by this regretful mana loss, her face soaked in cold sweat as she struggled against the overwhelming weakness.
Charlotte managed to deactivate her lineage, returning her body to a precarious state of normalcy. She knelt on the ground, her breath ragged. The summoning of the butterfly had consumed the last drops of mana she had left, leaving her exhausted and vulnerable.
The other Kids also deactivated their bloodlines. As the feeling of weakness spread through their bodies, they realized they had depleted all their mana reserves.
With a heavy sigh, Charlotte faced the harsh reality of their situation. That Scroll, her last card up her sleeve, had consumed everything she had, leaving her with no more resources to face Fallen.
Charlotte and her companions watched in horror as Fallen's figure, shrouded in a cloud of purple smoke, loomed. Despite the devastation caused by the explosion, the titan still stood, its body maimed but not defeated. Burnt flesh and deep cuts marked its form, while a ominous purple liquid corroded its skin.
Three of its arms and Isis's head lay on the ground, surrounded by the golden blood flowing from its body. However, the titan's four remaining eyes burned with intense madness, as it firmly held the scythe and golden staff in its hands.
"We've lost," Charlotte said in a low voice, her voice reaching her companions. Charlotte lowered her head sadly, if Anthony had been with them, they would have won. Her heart ached to think of him. She could hear Fallen's steps dragging the weapons across the already deformed and broken ground. Edward stood up, refusing to die without fighting to the end.
His double-edged axe appeared in his hands, but before he could do anything...

Anthony's POV
Pain spread through every fiber of his being, every movement a torment that seemed to drag him into darkness. Anthony could feel the sharp sting of his broken left arm, the splinters penetrating deeper into his flesh with each shallow breath. A groan of pain escaped his lips as he struggled to stay conscious.
"Damn it, damn son of a bitch," he muttered through gritted teeth, rage and pain intertwined in his voice. With superhuman effort, he tried to lift his sword, his trembling grip barely able to hold the weight of the weapon. Every movement was agony, and he felt his breath escaping him when a sharp stab of pain pierced his chest. Your journey continues at My Virtual Library Empire
A mouthful of dark blood spurted from his lips, staining the ground with its ominous presence. Anthony clicked his tongue in frustration, aware of the seriousness of his condition. If he had had the physique of any human, that attack would have led to instant death. But he wasn't human; he was a Dragon.
With a silent roar, Anthony's blood began to boil in his veins, his heart pumping with renewed ferocity. His red eyes gleamed with wild intensity as he rose with difficulty, his body trembling under the weight of pain and fatigue. He watched Fallen, whose wounded state reflected his own suffering. One of its heads lay shattered, half of its arms mutilated, and its titanic figure in ruins.
But what caught his attention the most was the figure of Charlotte, prostrate on the ground with her head bowed, her silhouette a heartbreaking image of despair. With a growl escaping his mouth, Anthony began to walk, one hand on his left arm. He felt as if his brain was about to explode, blood pouring from his eyes, mouth, and nose, leaving a trail of blood with each step he took.
His aura began to converge, the darkness around him began to stir, the light began to disappear, a thin layer of darkness began to emanate from Anthony's body, as if it were water falling to the ground, moving as if it had a life of its own, it began to swallow everything around it.
The small fairy within Anthony's soul had bright eyes; her tiny body began to emit pure mana. All the darkness within Anthony's soul stirred, agitated, chaotic. Nyx lifted her head, a smile spreading across her face. "He's going to go mad. Without the sword, he won't be able to control my lineage," she said before closing her eyes.
Anthony's eyes lost sanity, an explosion of darkness with flames burst from his body, thousands of tentacles intertwined, true darkness consumed everything again, Fallen noticed the anomaly and its enormous body disappeared, as if the night had descended in this place, Charlotte watched in fear, she couldn't see her hands, nor her body, she couldn't see her companions: "True Darkness," she thought inwardly, the darkness expanded and compressed, Charlotte and her friends regained vision of their surroundings, only to find in front of them a huge dome, the darkness moved, the mana was in motion, moving everywhere, no sound could be heard.
"Anthony?" Charlotte asked, confused.
