Chapter 968: The Other One Wasn't Much Better
I think Unerolia's patience ran out and she cut the inquiry short to storm up to Ragnus, a look of fury on her face.
The guy still had no clue what was going on and let out a surprised sounding 'eep' when Unerolia reached out and grabbed him by his neck.
She lifted him up with that single hand and continued walking towards the castle entrance, not paying any attention to the guy that was currently struggling in her grasp.
Mother stood up from her seat and giggled, "Ufufufu~ Seems like we would be having a scene change now~"
She's really treating this like some kind of play, isn't she?
Then again, I suppose so am I.
Mother and I followed behind them while Katsuki and Mary accompanied us. I also noted that the castle staff and the guards were intentionally looking away from us and staying outside the castle.
I'm guessing they either already know what was going to happen or they don't want to be involved in it. Or both, I guess.
Ragnus was still struggling and choking in Unerolia's grasp as she walked through the castle gates, completely unhindered by the extra weight she was holding in her hand.
Somehow, the image of a noble lady carrying a handbag came to mind when I saw the sight which was both hilarious and sad at the same time.
The Marchioness continued her dignified walk into the castle, looking like she was merely out for a stroll instead of carrying some guy up in the air with one hand.
We reached what I presumed to be the audience hall which, instead of a throne as I had expected, looked more like a courtroom instead.
There, a person was standing at the end with his back facing us. And even though I could not see his face, I knew it was Carlas.
