i just read 20 chapters and I say its not that good. The author must be an amateur at best and it says the mc got landscape martial soul.(look at the novel title). it's function is not very clear. Fight scene is not engaging enough and properly described. A not very intelligent mc, maybe it's due to his age I'm not sure. Ahem another review. can't say much because the novel is still on it's first part. but the story pacing is very fast. in 25 chapter's a lot of happened. The best thing of this novel is it's unique start, you can it's not unique because we have many this type of novel. but the start is really unique. heavy spoiler's btw SpoilerHere we can see Allen the first son of duke family which is falling from grace. Allen have normal aristocrat behavior and the mc had a brother who Julius who used to be a young prodigy so some korean reader or dude maybe possessed our mc's brother Julius. and because mc's dukedom is falling from grace they are desperate for success. and they are ignoring julius change behavior which is normal because someone possessed him but they are ignoring it. now the main story start why it's unique. the story is our mc Allen hating Julius because he is not his "real" brother. he is even disgusted to talk to him but to save his brother he is redoing his life. Overall: 9/101 minus because sometimes i get lost in the novel. the author switches topic really quickly which is hard for me to understand. but Must recommended.

Honestly, its pretty great and I only see this getting better and better. You might get confused at the start, but you'll get the hang of it later on. Characters are written well and it seems they'll develop more in the future, so that means they wont be stuck being the same old for the next 1000+ chapters. The plot is pretty good, and this is one of those rare novels that thinks outside the box and actually gets really creative and interesting (not just time consuming). "But bro, there's only a few chapters translated by the time you wrote this review. So aren't you getting a little bit too excited or exaggerated?"Nah I think its reasonable enough. Read this on RR a while ago and while some of the specifics of it elude me now I remember greatly enjoying it and planning to go back once it built up some backlog. It has a lot of parallels to light novels like Shield Hero and that one where the guy got pushed off bridge to the bottom of a dungeon, but is not quite so grim or dark. All told if you're up for some isekai antihero tropes this book is a pretty decent time.

Started reading it on webnovel and i must say this was unexpectedly good.Most marvel fanfics that i have tried to read are too bland, but this one was really good.the jokes do get repeated sometime, but if you want a slice of life marvel fanfic then I highly recommend this one.
Not good at praising novels so im just going to list what I didnt like, someone else can review why its good Some of the jokes get reused and get old quick, like our mc being over 100 and still being a virgin. The mcs dog makes anyones personality do a 180, space pirates that kill for money fawn over his dog because of how cute it is. Soldiers in the wars just allow themselves to be commanded by a dog. The usage of (`o´) type emoticons are used too much, over 5 in one chapter, probably in the hundred thousands all combined. Im only considering to push through is to see how our mc interacts with the avengers (which is around 50 more years in the stories future where im at)Other than the negative stuff the novel touches on novels wars superhero shit and politics in interesting ways that didnt bore me too quickly. There is no character development, though that is to be expected, however the comedy is good enough to carry the novel. There is also quite heavy, and I do mean heavy nationalism in the novel, though I wasn't too bothered, and it ends after about chapter 100 if I remember right.

He acts like a normal person, and no one would be any wiser as to his true nature. In reality, he is kind if like Orochimaru. Using magic biology to experiment on his patients. To this point, I dont think he is a rapist, and is confirmed as not a cannibal. "Just" a kidnapper, killer and human experimenter. Grammar isn't horrendous in most parts, and the dialogue isn't as cringey as most Japanese is. Ironically, I think this is the most evil professor I've read till date. All those "I reincarnated into the professor/villain" novels are clueless guys somehow lucking into hot women and God tier magic. This mc has been in the world for a while, and works for his magic. I don't foresee romance in this. The mc is dedicated to his work. Sorry to you harem enjoyers, but not all stories are about dumb bitches who exist to get the MC into trouble. I dont think I've ever seen a woman in a harem have free will. Oh well that has nothing to do with the story, moving on. So in conclusion, it's not bad. But if you can't vibe with the evil path, then stay away. I advise skipping the 1st 2 chapters. In fact, Senior Brother advises skipping the 1st chapter of every novel. 1st chapters always have the most chuni/cringe elements of any story.

As both a Fanfiction enjoyer(I've read thousands of them and have thousands of hours reading them) and as a SCP enjoyer I'm depressed this is a thing, when writing a story with an organisation with the global influence of the foundation you gotta treat it with some respect this author is literally shitting on the entirety of the foundation, sure it's a fanfic but come one man he's obviously read countless entries on the wiki and this guy decides to downplay the power and influence of the foundation for jacking off his self insert? Just another Mary Sue SI power fantasy

I've read the first 3 chapters and I gotta say this is not a bad story the only complaint I have right now is that the SCP-Foundation i completely different than described in the wiki. In first few chapters a reasercher makes a bet with the MC, that's something someone from the SCP-Foundation would never do. Another thing is that a niece of the Site-Director has power on the site, which is an absolute no-go, especially when we're talking about a site with SCP-682 in it. So all in all probably good story, but horrendous adaptation from the source.
Well, I don't really think you're completely right. There have often been incidents in the SCP Foundation that cannot be called official or honest. Very often someone passed someone, even more often killed, somewhere there were cases of narcissism, and somewhere there were precedents like our case. What happened in the first chapters seems to me to be a normal reaction. Imagine yourself in her shoes: SpoilerYou're the head of the department, the boss of all those people, and you treat them like family. As a result, you see how your people are killed by a rabid lizard! You're going to panic. And that's not much said. What do you do if, in such a dangerous situation, you meet a guy who claims to be able to save your people to whom you are attached? Obviously, even despite the risk of loss, you will agree to all his requests and words. And even more so, the situation was already terribly disgusting, so she thought that it could almost not be worse. After all this, she even almost had a nervous breakdown when she saw all those dead bodies of her acquaintances, but she held back just because of her role as a boss. It's incredibly coolly described between the lines. So... I think it works very logically. And throughout the book, we are even shown her moral and spiritual growth as a person that I was happy to see.

Not to sound offensive to the bottom commenters but... in the nicest way I can put it, you're all very critical of a fanfiction, I repeat, a fanfiction. One of the commenters below even wrote 3 full paragraphs about how unrealistic it is, bruh, it's a fanfiction. Plus, who knows if SCP-X has a special ability geared towards trash talk? Novels are not things that are bound by logic, fanfiction even more so. Also, isn't the entire SCP concept itself unrealistic? An organization capable of toppling countries is somehow not a major target for those countries? How, somehow, even if they know they just... trust them? If an organization like that existed in real life the first thing they would encounter would be a bombardment of nukes from countries all over the world. Like seriously? The MC is getting blackmailed too much. His life is in the hands of the so-called "Heroine". It feels as if a feminist wrote this novel. The MC has no backbone and his goal is to somehow survive. This is a fairly fun read and the characters are great. How the novel handles romancing multiple women is a bit strange but not bad. Each chapter/s is dedicated to an individual and it's like the transition between going after a different heroine is cut away so it can feel abrupt when it swaps back and forth. I think this is what gives the novel a unique feel as it doesn't give you time to forget the other girls.Also the Empress Dowager is hilariously great.

Kinda bland. It's not so bad but not good either, something to read when there's nothing else left. 1. The Mc, the "genius", is stupid. His reasoning for things baffles me. I would've accepted if he chose gryffindor for a reason but guess why he did it? You needed to answer a question to open the Raveclaws door and it's "troublesome". Guess what he thought when he saw moving stairs up too the tower? The question was not so burdensome it seems. And guess what he did when he got a memory charm that gave him access to all memories he had? Nothing! Yes, nothing! It took him a whole month to remember to browse through his memories about Harry Potter. There's other things too but this should tell you alot.2. Nothing happens. Really. I'm at chapter 60~ and nothing serious happens. He shows how "genius" he is, studies, has bland and completely plain conversations with the teachers and that's almost all of it.3. Translation is annoying but not mtl bad. However, the writing is bad in my opinion. The characters are plain and their personalities are twisted by the author. It is such a chill read, and then you reach the current chapter and the flow is disrupted. Good story and character building. Some more details could help improve the world building. The random stuff happening sometimes without a true explanation is nice, but most mysteries of the novel does give an explanation.

Can someone explain me the logic behind gender bender novels with having gay (as in same physical body gender) relationships. He is a guy. He is a guy in a woman's body. He is having relationships with other women. One of my issues is : do those women know he is a man in a woman's body or do they think he is also a woman? Does the gender of the soul matter? Why do some authors gender bend and then proceed to give him a man's dick. Why bother change his gender ?I am really interested to hearing the opinion of those that like this unique trope. I haven't read this story, so I can't comment on it. But it seems many guy authors write gender benders to have a free pass at putting women in sexual situations without needing to worry about perspective shifts. Meaning they don't actually have to write from the perspective of a woman (which is hard), as writing a perspective other than something you know is much more challenging.It also allows the author to put the (woman) in sexual situations that they would be uncomfortable putting an actual woman in. Like Rape and Sexual assault of women is of course frowned upon and something that most writers stay away from (as they should) as much as possible. However, if your MC has a female body, but is actually a reborn guy and acts like a guy, well in society sexual assaults of guys are almost always dismissed so an author can get away with all kinds of messed up things happening to them without the outrage.Gender benders are rarely done very well though I have read a few which all don't involve gratuitous sex. Most are just sexual fantasies or something gone wrong it seems.

I don't think this has anything to do with it. this argument is jsut pure bs. especially considering that there are very few novels that actually have this happen to mc.And there are a bunch of good ones. They mostly involve sex, but that is kinda obvious as otherwise the sex change would be pointless unless they are about the differences between genders from a social, biological or psychical level. which (unsurprisingly) isn't a very popular topic and would be extremely hard to write.
Here's my logic, a tomboy, a girl who acts more like a male than a female, is considered a female due to their looks, thus I'd say it only makes sense that a gender swapped guy is considered a girl as well, as it's a girl who just thinks like a guy.
The counter argument would be that tomboys don't think they are actually are boys (with exceptions like Mordred from Fate Apocrypha). They are girls that behave similarly to boys in certain areas. Back in the medieval times a girl who trained and wanted to become a knight was viewed as a tomboy. Today's a girl leaning more in men exclusive activities (how back in the days football was seen) would also be considered a tomboy. In the end what determines your gender is our question. Is it just biological reasons ? Is it sexuality? Is there some primal characteristic in our soul (if it exists?)? Maybe a mix of all of them ?
To me the gender of the soul doesn't matter, If her body a woman and you a man then that a straight relationship, love with a body of same gender (but the soul is the opposite of it) then it's a gay.Why I say that? Because if reincarnation are real who know if your current lover have an opposite gender in their past life. So thinking about the soul of gender is irrelevant, in the end it the matter of bodies.
This is a wrong anology.. It just a matter of mind, if you were a guy that got reincarnated into a girls body while your memories of being a guy is intact... If you were leaning towards the straight orientation... Naturally you won't want to see yourself getting f#cked... That's just how it is..It's just a matter of mind, for me, one of the greatest evil in this world would be to put a straight guy into the body of a woman.. Then rape him So if there's a reincarnation... You better be happy you lost your memories of your previous life, the matter of being gay due to reincarnation is fake because your memories don't register your past life, so it doesn't matter.
This is just from my opinion over the years. For me, i see it as part of the "transformation" group, where a character is forcefully put into a body that they are not use to and going though the struggles of what that body comes with. To a male turned into female, they would have to adjust to having different body part, how they dress, how they interact with people, and how differently they are treated compare to being a male. It's like boy brain trapped in girl body and the two are always clashing to see which side would win over the other internally X3To me, i think it looses it's effect once the MC accept being a female and truly becomes a normal girl :/To me, I think i just like the struggle, rather they are determine to change back to a man and doing everything they can to achieve it. this can apply the same if he is turned into a dog, monster, sword, goblin, etc. each presents hardships, and the MC have to either find a way to be human or live life as they are.

As of chapter 96.The only thing this really has in common with Naruto is, well, nouns. The author uses the "world" and "names", but basically changes everything. Not that this is bad or anything, but anyone wanting a fanfic that tries to at least stay true in some regard to the canon, will want to pass on this.If your here for the battles, don't be, they all suck. The authors changes to the power system are trash. The Naruto Manga's power system was always mediocre imo(mainly in the later part), but the changes the author did here, make it an absolute dumpster fire.Like other Naruto fanfics, the author tries to enhance the "political" and "dark" side of the Narutoverse, not doing anything all that different from them, and it's all pretty lame honestly.The characters, well, robots. Best I can say, they all feel the same. MC is basically a machine.The smut, doesn't exist in the chapters I've read so far, chapter 95, is when it starts but that's the "losing virginity" chapter and it's nothing special.Conclusion - I give it a 2 for effort. It you want a Naruto fanfic that includes or is focused heavily on smut, In Naruto: Reborn with Talent or Eroninja are both vastly superior to this novel.

currently at: ch. 52it's not bad.information is sometimes excessively repeated to the extent of irritation.a number of (in my opinion) unnecessary sentences are also present in each chapter. it seems like the needless repetitions and the like are there for word count... sigh. the characters almost all seem to have the same personality as they almost all sound and act the same.some characters have been perverted to irking degrees, while others are just completely different from what individuals who have watched naruto would be familiar with - and it can be really irritating in certain instances.the story itself isn't bad, there's just too many things in each chapter that seem to be doing their utmost best to kill any sense of immersion a reader might get. if you've seen/ read naruto, i urge that you see this novel as an entirely different thing with similar names and ideas to naruto. if you haven't seen/ read it, then good for you. 2.5/5give it a try.
It was superb at the start but the storyline is starting to lag and the butterfly effect due to the involvement of the mc hits us in the face like someone who farted after eating a burrito. The good points of the story are the power progression and the way the characters are more prioritized. And my thoughts about female orochimaru is its the authors fanfic and he can do whatever he wants i'm just going with the flow since this fanfic is one of the good ones out there. The grammars great without repetion of phrases. The man has done good research on naruto and has changed the plot with reasonable reasons[such as using the thought processes of the mc]. Thats all i got to say and whoever's finished reading this thank u for your patience

I was bored so I dropped the book.

Mediocre at best. The author doesn't really have a plot planned out and sorta just makes stuff up as they go, which isn't helped by the grammar that makes things a little confusing. There is also a very clear lack of world building which gets quite infuriating at times. The title is also accurate, as the secret organizations aren't things that you would find in a quality piece such as 'Eminence(Power) in the shadows'. As for the yuri there isn't really any yuri by chapter 150, which is where I decided to drop this. Solid 4/10 only because it's good enough when you cease all brain function.

The sudden perspective shifts can be a bit odd and off putting for some since Ranobes doesn't have the spacing the original publishing sites do. This story focuses a lot on the side characters. They have their own adventures and treasures that they manage to snatch from other xianxia 'MC' types. In the end you'll be more interested in them than Mc herself. If you read cultivation stories for the fighting, then this one probably isn't for you. So far the only satisfying fight was a big team battle later on in the story. Ok read this first instead of the other comments so it doesn’t spoil your mood of-the novel but my take on this novel is that it’s good, not the best novel ever but it’s not romance or harem and the Mc is cold and will act weak for her goals of getting opportunities and becoming stronger then she’ll kill the people who acted when she was pretending and her ability I agree the author wrote it in a wish fulfilment way and it sucks but 7/10 not romance or harem good novel to just read as a filler also for the one comment on alternating POV it’s literally the same amount as any dumb Chinese novel with a harem or romance in it, if you can’t read this pay better attention
I haven't read many chapters, but I can already say that it's enough.. Em.. boring work. This text does not catch people at all. The only interesting character I could spot was Li Li. The rest are not interesting at all. Also, the style of storytelling is quite peculiar. The point of view is constantly changing on the secondary characters and as a result, you know some stone by the road much better than the main character herself. All in all, the book is so-so
