What do you expect from an assassin? Killers have their own mindset and thoughts, you can’t judge them with your thoughts. And the reason why he might’ve made the A.I Female is to maybe cope up with loneliness. But I do agree with you about the rest.

I like the concept because it reminds me of Ending Maker but did they really have to make the MCs 1 year old children? They can stand but not turn over, they can speak fluently but nobody questions it?
This is more of a slice of life/uplift compared to most Chinese novels out there. Something that’s a nice change of pace from the usual. Ofc, there’s quite a number of disbelievable plot holes, but overall I found it enjoyable especially as the author doesn’t give the protags a ‘everyone must hate me for no reason’ halo. This novel really does like playing the long game though, so anyone looking for a fast/medium pace and quick payoffs will not enjoy it. The release pace + chapter lengths are also quite small with a quite a bit of conversational filler which is also another issue.
Author synopsis shortened: ML and FL will veryyy slowly grow up by eating every living thing available. Spoiler: Every chapter is half filled with ML and FL conversation which is either filler or what/whatnot to eat.

Give it a try, it's something different from your everyday tropes.Cons to look out for* The start is just really rough to read and the mc starts to like being a genius toddler who can speak fluently at age 1?There are such tropes throughout so be prepared.* Female Lead is disappointing. She does not play a great role as a lead character and is sometimes barely there in the entire story.Her persona of a policewoman is also really annoying at times and she does not use her modern knowledge as much as the main lead.Overall a pretty nice read if you are bored of the endless fighting and cultivation novels. 4/5 for me

I don't know how accurate that book is historically, but living in 70s china before the reform sounds like a fcking nightmare. Still that's the most interesting part of a novel that's fairly average other than that.also it's worth mentioning that it's not nationalist at all, contrarily to what it seems from the cover. In the first half they're too poor to think about anything more abstract than their next meal, and in the second they're too busy shitting out kids.

If you are a nihilist and think you are better than others for looking down on tropes, this is a 10 for you.If you are sane, this is cringe. Everything in the novel is meaningless, and that is why you ask why you are reading it. You don't have to, you realise, and then you stop.
This is another sad one. Good concept and fun novel and a really good translation. Sadly it is extremely inconsistent. Realty will warp I to whatever is convent at the moment and author seems to complete forgot what happened in the last chapter. The number of inconsistencies and plot holes is almost impressive. Realty constantly adapts to plot on a level on Wich it becomes really anoying.his making fun of illogical stuff in outer cultivation novels while this being one of the worst offenders in this regard doesn't help.

Hello guys, I have read up-to-date to about chapter 38, the novel is pretty good so far. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that’s interested in Wuxian and Xianxian novels (immortal fantasy).Small review of the novel the MC is cold, ruthless, and intelligent. The story follows a transmigrated from earth whom is a cultivator, he comes from an era where resources aren’t that available. He tries to achieve it immortality but fails he then get transported to the world we’re spiritual energy is much higher in quantity and quality and there are much more resources. Now onto a few of the flaws the biggest thing is that they haven’t really pushed out A standard power system they’ve got like the first four or so levels but that’s it, another thing that I have little bit of an opinion on some people might enjoy other people might not is that he seems to have conflict with every other person so far it seems as though he hasn’t had as many conflicts but I feel as though at some point he’s going to have too many conflicts and it’s going to make the plot a little too messy. But so far I would recommend this novel Now as the novel goes on i’ll definitely update the review. I also have left out a large amount of the plot and only have given you a small synopsis I don’t think I really spoiled but if I did then sorry.Ps. don’t shit on me if the novel ends up being garbage. In battle her instincts and battle tactics kick in and she overcomes hardships.Book 2 salvos becomes a lot more smarter and clued on. While still keeping her simple way of looking at the world. it's great for the entertaining laughCharacters develop over time and salvos makes friendly connections over time.The story doesn't try to force level grinding instead, following logical character actions and story line/development. what I mean is as the story hapens you may start to develop a sence of some of the hidden information, the character won't just bat around the ideas of posiablilities instead they will most likely come to your same conclusions and just come out and say it.

I would give this one a try despite the tag. In this case, it is referring to the heavy learning curve the main character goes through when shoved into a new environment.I personally enjoyed the growth of the main character as they learned from their mistakes and "wizened up" to the ways of the world. Towards the later sections of the book, the main character may still seem "dense", but it is actually a well performed act to get people to underestimate them and give them an excuse to do what they want even when it breaks social norms.

Man this novel should get adapted to manhwa.
This isnt a story about being healed at demon farm at all. It's a story of a soft rice eating MC who's taken advantage of even when he becomes a noble or getting the attention of those who only seek profit. That is why a soft mc in a demon world is a recipe for disaster. He does something great -> Someone takes advantage of him -> He tries to resolve it, he asks for help -> someone resolves it for him -> problem solved -> little bit of peace -> Another conflict happens where someone is taking advantage of him again. It's a cycle and it happens because he's got authority, products and ability but doesnt know how to intimidate those who seek his. Being healed at demon farm only happens at the start.

Idk whats with the complaining reviews but i read this one months ago waiting for an update and i just found it again. For me this is pretty good for killing time of course you will think that it is following an outline of another story but as veterans do you really have the right to complain about that after reading hundreds of stuff already. Of course authors will copy successful works and make a version of their own, thats just how the writing industry in the internet works at this point. My point is dont complain when there are hundreds or thousands of novels out there that originated from a one successful story. Its just how it works.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the case of DD (Dungeon Defense), the one that the author plagiarized are the dialogs in WN but not in LN right? The LN is much much better for me especially those speeches. It makes me goosebump. I will be sadden if those speeches are one by one copy from another book tho. The only thing that I can think of that the author might "plagiarize" (but for me it's more of a reference) in LN is the meeting between the MC and the slave girl. It's practically the meeting between the Alexander the great and diogenesis.
As always remembering Korean names is a job in itself but the novel is quite good. The endless hiding doesn't exist like in other novels and the mc has the brain to actually reject entering obvious setups a clear goal and he's keen on a lot of things. Two problems though is the meaning of the Labyrinth and how to follow dialogue. Not much information, he just goes. SpoilerSia should just have a voice I have no idea why that was taken away as a summon with the memories and the capacity of an autonomous and learning human. Kalish should have the brackets but the hyphens aren't that bad.All in all up to the most recent ch (59) its a great read.

There is a big ass central dungeon, and if ppl don't pay taxes, they get gimped by the govt. Because without taxes (mana stoens) their dimension will become unstable, and everyone will become lost to the void.SO the mc reincarnates into a classically stupid race of big dumb strong hulks, and has to use his cunning, wit, and a whole lot of luck to get strong enough to survive in this hellscape world. Very good story, VERY slow updates. I'm at ch 48, and am waiting till basically Nov of next year before I read again the updates are so slow. BUT it's the kind of AWESOME story that has you clenching your fists in anticipation. Worth a read, solid 9/10. (There's some parts that are annoying, but it isn't enough to detract from the good points)

I love this novel. Each story is not too long and the information is enough to understand the plot.
Currently at ch. 90.2. This is actually a pretty good novel. Translation isn't great but it's still readable. MC is a world-hopper that lives a second life for people and fixes up their life.

I read this as MTL a while ago, introduced me to the whitewashing genre. Whitewashing = redoing someone's life to fix regrets. It's pretty decent, but it's as emotionally subtle as a sledgehammer and a lot of the issues wouldn't exist outside of Chinese social customs. It has a pretty good mix of scenarios and time periods - he goes back and fixes usually mistreated women but they get more complex and interesting as time goes on.The main character is a perfect actor and doesn't seem to have any goals outside of completing the mission as perfectly as possible.
Maybe you remember name novell in this genre , i read it lot ago , but remember one story brother revenge village people for sisther death , with sisther ghost and MC have system and points on system skill or medicine. And another story when MC have bug and without quest , take place general in prison and have severed tendons . I search this 2 weeks and not find(
It's basically a jumper fic, but chinese. There's no explanation as to why this happens, i'm not even sure if there was a prequel to this, but the MC basically transmigrates into these character in these missions to solve their regrets, it's basically like Omniscient Reader, where the MC knows the future and does everything in his power to prevent it, and fulllfills the original body's wish, it's a rather ordinary read, nothing to write home about or anything, just good if you don't have anything better to do.

Novel is amazing one of the best of its genre but the writing itself is terrible. Author lack any sense of pacing and sometime spend 10k+ words retelling the same scene from different POV. (Im not exaggerating, im being literal) Not to mention the unnecessary flashback of every mob character before they die. In my estimation 60%-80% of the story is just filler to increase wordcount.
A very good novel...Obs: This novel is not for everyone. I'm basically a bastard with almost no empathy towards other human beings, so I can enjoy the novel with ease, but if you're someone with a lot of empathy and easily moved by other people's lives, or don't like villain MC novels, then I don't recommend reading this novel.
Honestly in a story like this i'd prefer to read about his first life. Its always like "epic backstory that gets glossed over in a 2 chapter prologue" when it sounds much more interesting to read than the novel the author wrote, like why not write that story instead of a meh/good-ish novel. Its extremly frustrating when all you can think about is how much you'd like to read the backstory as a novel instead. Something similiar happened in Syler Seeker (good book just not many chaps). {Sorry for the rant}

I wanted to write a big review but few would actually like this novel. So I will keep it short.This novel is a logical beast. Mc is a gamer. He thinks like a gamer. That's all about it.Read it, If you are villain enough and not emotionally weak.I actually enjoyed this novel. Author is so genius that I thought he's mentally unwell. The world building and multiple personality depiction is phenomenal work of art. Some words of caution, your personal emotions will ruin the experience.
edge lord mc with edgelord author. This is absolute trash, the mc is not evil he completely lost it. I feel like he's gonna have no aspirations or dreams, a loser that's given up on life so he's killing everyone because they haven't, he's not evil just retarded. I'm out
I haven’t read this but even I can see what kind of mc this novel will have just from the fking title so I don’t know what your bitching about. 99.99 percent of novels have the type of mc you just described so how about u go enjoy those? And you’re definition of a “evil” seems to be flawed you go on to say “he’s not evil” then describe what someone who’s evil would in in the same sentence man I can’t take you serious. It’s clear stories like these aren’t your cup of tea but then again you should’ve seen it from the title if you’re not sure after that check the tags. I'm not complaining about him being evil, I like evil protagonists. I'm in disbelief of how mindless he is, I wouldn't call him evil but crazy at this point. This guy is not evil he's upset at life, he sounds miserable, a loser that's lost it all. To be evil is to be happy being an evildoer, this guy is clearly not, he's forced into doing those things by circumstances. The difference between an evil person and a normal one is that the evil person would punch you just because he felt like it and the normal person wouldn't attack without a reason. In this story the mc is hurt by the world and getting his payback, author frames it in a way where it's cool to be hurt and feel pain which is why its edgy. Idk why I'm dumbing it down so much but there you go
I started reading a gay novel and complained that the plot was going wrong. I just read the tags casually. I just didn't know what gay tags were.
honestly just don't like the main characters attitude about everything. mentally ill to the point of having no morals what so ever mc's have always been a turn off to me. he just kills for fun and nothing else, no goal or anything. its an 2/5 just for that, if mc wasn't edgy mc edge face then it'd be 4/5 honestly

You can be evil and cruel without "killing for fun", most good villains have good reasons to be villains whereas most trashy villains have dumb reasons to be villains like world domination. I say most because some good villains are just straight up clinically insane but also written insanely well.
You misunderstood my point.The tags says evil mc and cruel characters, that alone should've prepared him for it. Yet instead he complains about mc being immoral.Some villains are less bad while some is straight up psycho like you said, but more often than not are evil protagonists completely unhinged.The tags shouldve at least made him prepare for the worst.
