Chapter 1009: The Level 3 Satan System

"What is Gnenome Splicing?" Lenny asked very curious as to what the System was talking about. After all, he did have incredible knowledge in medicine, but he did not want to believe that what he thought was the same thing that the satan system was now telling him that the Satan system was now capable of.

<Gnenome Splicing involves the Post-Transcriptional modification in which a single gene can code for multiple proteins.>

Lenny’s eyes widened in surprise, "those this mean what I think it does?"

<Affirmative! The Satan system is now capable of giving birth to its own creatures.>

On saying this, the long list of creatures appeared before his eyes. Lenny looked at the images of them. Some of them he knew and most of them, he had never seen in his entire life.

"But How is this possible? I thought the Satan system is not capable of accommodating another life except my own."

<The Level Three Satan System is capable of accommodating life of a one thousand individuals regardless of specie, on the condition that they were created within the System. This number and limit is subject to expand, but only within the condition of the Hosts comprehension of Cosmic laws. If Host comprehends enough Laws, Host can have millions to billions as host wishes>

"And what of their demon rank?" Lenny immediately asked.

<Currently, Host is only permitted to Rear creatures with a demon rank of up to Greater Demon Rank 3 within the System>

Lenny was surprised by those words. Essentially, he could even grow creatures that were stronger than him in his current level.

"And what of their Loyalty?" Lenny immediately asked. After all, the world operated by power. No one wanted to take orders from one that they believed to be stronger than them.

<All Creatures created within the system have the innate desire to serve implanted in their gene sequence. If for any reason, a creature were to disobey, then their existence will be forfeited.

The Morningstar visited a lot of places through out is travel of the cosmos. Many plants, and beasts of even the most harshest ecological conditions, have their genes recorded. However, it is the responsibility of Host to provide life energy source.>

"What does that mean?"

<Its like watering a plant. If plants need water to grow, then it could be said that...>

"The creatures will also need nutrients to grow too. So basically, I should provide them with food."

<Affirmative>

Just then, another question bloomed in Lenny’s head. "Apart from half-borns that have been genetically engineered by Demons, the gestation for most creatures especially those of incredible power need a lot of time in order for them to grow and mature. Doesn’t that mean I’ll have to wait hundreds of years to get one good slave. And what if it dies in battle? That will be a lot of Hardwork down the drain."

<Not necessary!> The images before Lenny suddenly changed and the training rooms appeared again.

<Host is able to Forward time as Host wishes within different farm rooms. As long as specific conditions such as food are made available, Host can create creatures within an hour or even a day.>

"Wow!" lenny commented. Meaning that if the conditions were right, he could have an army of Greater Demons of rank three all running around the place under his rule.

Truly, a level three Satan system was beyond his imagination.

<But that is not all>

"There is more?"

<Host is capable of combining Species as Host sees fit. Of course, this is a very tricky process as factors such as behavioral tendencies including, violence, meekness and other factors would need to be considered. At the same time, creatures could be made to perform a very specific task. Such as lift heavy load, or battle in a particular style involving a particular number of limbs, shape of limbs, or even type of magic produced. However, there is a draw back>

"I knew there was a catch!" Lenny sighed.

<Creatures created in the Satan System at this level of the system’s power, can only survive in the outside world for a restricted time limit.>

"And what is the time limit?"

<The time limit is dependent on a number of factors such as; The duration of time outside the System’s space, The strength Level of the Creature, The amount of damage done to the creature, And their affinity for the living space they have been plunged into.>

Lenny nodded in understanding those words did make sense. He still had some questions, but he held them back, after all, he knew that he would have to explore them one step at a time.

Just then, something came to his mind.

"Can I create a Crystal fruit!?" He asked.

<Negative!>

"Why?"

<Because it is the created substance of a living soul. The Satan system is at the moment not capable of creating souls. All creatures made here are empty vessels. The Crystal fruit that the Host seeks is made of Soul origin and as such may not be created here.>

Lenny felt a bit disappointed at those words.

However, the Satan system continued, <Of course, this could become a possibility with further evolution of the Satan System. But for now, it is not.>

Lenny was not angry with this. After all, he still had plans to attend the Azure festival. He would have to get what he wanted in that place.

However, the System was still not done with showing him the improvements that system had acquired.

"There is still more?"

<Affirmative>

Next, the System took him to the market section. This was the place that Lenny exchanged for his weapons and even books that he read to increase his knowledge during his spare time.

The entire area had completely been transformed. For one, the items were no longer displayed as pictures. Instead, they had a 3D form.

He could even touch and try them out as he saw fit.
