Father Black picked up the big Jewel. He could still the Darkline magic from within. He turned to Nikky, "I suppose you have good use of this, right!?"

She gave a side smile, However, she suddenly fainted. Father Black and the others were surprised by this. However, after Insect-B checked, it turned out that she had passed out from exhaustion.

Then a again, she was human, and this place put a lot of stress on her. Some of which she could still feel through the protective film all over her body.

They ended up chuckling in relieve as they went home...

Lenny saw the results of the battle through his connection with Demeter. As Father Black opened a portal for them to return home. He turned to the Core of the earth. As if to see the secrets it held deep within, "Thanks Lenny!" He whispered and then he turned about and walked away.

Lenny’s mind excited the trance. He raised his head to the Satan System, "thanks!" the system flapped its wings acknowledging the praise that had been given to it.

Just then, Lenny sat crossed legged again. A major problem had been averted but now, he had to get serious.

"You just upgraded to level 3. Those that mean that they are more levels?"

The System shook its wings <Yes, they are, each level with corresponding capabilities that bring the host closer to the perfection of the Divine being he serves.>

"Are you saying that if I continue to use the Satan System, I will one day become as strong as the morningstar?>

<In theory, that should be so>

Lenny frowned a bit, "What do you mean by ’in theory’?"

<As of now, although system users have more advantages compared to Avatars, there has never been a record in the thousands of years since the begining of System users, of a System User that has become like the Divine being they serve.>

Lenny raised a brow at those words, "what do you mean? No one has ever reached the peak?"

This was the Blood Oath.

Lenny thought about this for a moment, "But this does not make sense. The divine being that granted my Contract is dead. Shouldn’t that mean that my contract is now void?"

<Affirmative! In theory, this should be. But the Morningstar is the Morningstar, and your Blood oath is not connected with his ’Existence’. Rather, it is connected with his ’Being’.>

The system then brought up an holographic image of when Lenny attended to Uriel.

"Who is that?" Lenny asked. the person’s face was familiar but he could not just put a finger on who it was.

<Uriel! While the Morningstar is the lord of the Satan System, Uriel, a Cherubim, is the Engineer of the Satan system.>

Lenny watched as the images played like a movie. He watched as Uriel told him to go get the Codex. He also watched as the Codex was explained to him.

Lenny suddenly realized why Uriel had wanted him to go after the Codex. The reason was because the existence of teh Codex wa sthe reason why the Satan system was functional.

Lenny’s Oath was with the Being of the Morningstar and not is Existence. Meaning that the Codex was the reason that he had Satan system.

Meaning that if the Codex was no more, or another person managed to lay their grabby hands on the codex, then Lenny would most certainly lose the Satan system. This was a very scary thought.

Lenny now understood why Uriel had trained him for months in another semi plane in such a way that he would not depend on the satan system.

This was done so that Lenny would grasp the concept of his own skills, just in case an accident were to happen and he was to lose the Codex.

But at the same time, he gave Lenny the mission of finding it.

A lot of questions about the Satan System were suddenly answered.
