Chapter 1014: Really Good Acting

Just then, the scream of a little girl was heard.

Lenny turned to see who it was, and to his surprise, it was the little girl that he had been tasked to take care of by Mupstick. It was Venir. The same one he had left with Kanada.

Cena held the little girl up with her long reptilian tail. With the edge of the tail pointing at the little girl like a knife.

Lenny frowned a bit. But then he chuckled, "don’t worry, you can kill the little girl. I don’t mind." Lenny spoke up.

"Kill her!?" Kanada giggled a bit, "I think you misunderstand what I want or who this little girl is. Let me ask you Lenny. Does it not strike you odd that Mupstick had been with this girl that has never aged for seven hundred years? That she is the only one capable of praying to the Plane and food must be supplied regardless of circumstances, or that when you saved her life, the earth rewarded you with a crystal fruit."

"This here, is a person even you know is not ordinary."

As Kanada talked, Lenny had already used Appraisal on her. What he saw made him speechless. he had known that Venir was special. back then, he did not have Appraisal anymore because the satan system was in the midst of upgrading.

However, now, he could see it for himself.

This little girl was the living embodiment of the Sub-Plane. This was why she could not age. It was because the plane did not need to age the way mortals did.

"You can kill her for all I care. It has nothing to do with me." Lenny spoke without a care in his tone, smashing Venir’s hope at a save.

"Oh! but you should care. Celesseria is a sub-Plane that has developed a soul. The only other Planes with a soul are the primary planes. celesseria is a miracle that has never been seen in a hundreds of thousands of years since creation itself."

"Or have you not thought it weird that most of the creatures, beasts that roam this plane are in their Soul form, existing in the After truth like it was a walk in the park. It is because of her.

It is because of what she is. It is also the reaosn that the Royal demon families immediately occupied this plane and its twin."

"What do you mean?" Lenny asked.

"The closest plane to this one is a primary plane. It is one that has not been touched since the imprisonment thousands of years ago."

"Purgatory!" Lenny blurted out.

"Yes, Purgatory. That plane was used a prison for the fallen angels by the One Above All. A correcting ground to fix their wrong. None can enter and none can leave."

At such a time, a very particular memory flashed in Lenny’s head. It was the time he was battling against the creatures of the void. Back then, he had tried to enter into Purgatory, but it was impossible. Instead, he decided to enter the closest plane which was this one.

Kanada chuckled some more. "Only Holy Power can break the lock on Purgatory. Like I told you before, Holy Power is not easy to come about. It is the purest form of magic seeped in creation itself.

With no fallen angels around, and those in heaven, refusing to come out, there is no way in. The closest thing we have to holy power is the miracle of a semi-plane that has become sentient. A miracle that is believed to have only happened as a result of two triggers.

The death of the Morningstar and the Holy power that slowly but surely ever radiates from the Primary Plane."

"I still don’t understand why you need to keep her alive. Like i said, if she dies, then we all die. As far as I am concerned, it is a win win for me."

"Oh, is it?" Kanada had a confident smile on her face, even though most of her body had already turned to blood. It was as if even without eyes, she could see through Lenny and predict the outcome of events. In truth, it was actually very ridiculous.

Then again, the person before him was a member of the Brotherhood. lenny had only met Solomon. But that was a man that invented the race of witches that use negative energy and nether beasts that should not be in this world.

Surely, lenny was of the opinion that Kanada was just as crazy.

"For some reason, the royal family want to use the miracle that is this plane and unlock the prison of the Fallen angels. the specifics are not known, but if i remember correctly and I know that I do, you are here because you need to get into purgatory. You may not be interested in preserving her life, but you will definitely not mind using it for your own agenda.

After all, if you had to go through the pain of losing your memories and the royal family intend to open purgatory up, then this girl must be very important. If I kill her, many on the plane will die, but people like you and I might not die. In fact, with the powers we command, we will definitely survive, but then, you will be left to drift in space and watch your goal, Purgatory slip from the grasp of your hands.

Lenny frowned even tighter. Kanada had indeed made a very logical argument. One that he could not refute. If what was happening was true as he had discovered, then the reason that the plane was dying was because its power was being used to open the Primary Plane Purgatory.

Lenny needed to go to Purgatory so that he could recover the Codex which was the heart of the Morningstar.

Therefore, the value that Venir’s life carried was in fact in its usage to accomplish his goals.

Lenny sighed at this. However, just when the Blood looked like it was slowing down to a stop, Lenny suddenly chuckled. It was low at first, but it quickly climbed and then he raised his head at kanada.

"With all the abilities you have, even when you were Fate instrument, did you not manage to see the kind of man I am, and you dare to threaten me?"

Lenny waved his hand, and a gun appeared from the storage system.

*BAM!*

He fired it right for Venir’s head.

Blood splashed off her forehead in all directions.

"You FOOL!!!" Kanada screamed as she waved her hands.

*Temporary Law Comprehension! SEMI-ARCANE DOMAIN FATE HANDLE!*

Immediately, strings of fate from thin air seemed to reattach into her body and then, it happened. It was as if there was a fierce pull from the real world.

Huge faith strings broke into Lenny’s Arcane domain, pulling her out of it. Immediately it did, everyone could hear the mixture of three voices, one old, the other young and the last that of a toddler.

"Found you! Found you!! Found you!!!" The voices echoed after one another. "Betrayal! Betrayal!! Betrayal!!!"

These voices, even without his complete memories, lenny recognized them. These were the voices of the sisters of faith.

Immediately, the strings that surrounded Kanada’s body moved wrapping around her like heavy golden chains.

She had been broken out of Lenny’s Semi-Aracane domain. But her struggle had only started.

Using a majority of the Faith that she had from the people of this plane, she struggled against the power of the sisters of Fate.

"Don’t worry you old hags. I will come for you. But that day is not today." Immedaitely, she brought out a crystal from her clothes and smashed it on her chest. Instantly, it broke the fate chains all about her, suddenly isolating her from the Eye of the Fates.

"Where is she!? Where is she!!? Where is she!!!?" The asked one another, their voices, fading back into the void.

"Hmmm! It seems i underrestimated you Lenny Tales. I’ll make sure that I get you back for this." Immediately, she waved her hand agains and as golden faith energy surrounded her body, she disappeared.

Lenny’s Domain had been forcefully broken open. Meaning that his blood world had suddenly disappeared. For this, Lenny suffered some backlash and he coughed some blood as he fell a knee to the ground.

However, he wiped it as he stood back up to his feet.

And then he turned to Cena. She was still holding the shot Venir in her tail embrace.

Cena looked at lenny with a frown, and then she smiled. Her smile eventually became a chuckle, and she could not hold it in any longer. she laughed so hard that tears fell from her eyes.

"Not Bad Lenny. That was really good acting..."
