Chapter 1065: About The Puzzle Boxes

Chapter 1065: About The Puzzle Boxes

"It seems like you have an idea of what is going on in here, do you want to share?" The old elf asked Lenny.

However, lenny did not reply. Instead, he turned to the two centaurs behind him, waving with his fingers for them to follow him. And then he jumped into the box that he had just opened.

this was the same one that was filled with devils that had just destroyed the infant that he had thrown in from the farm in his storage system.

Just like the way the devils had attacked the infant, they also swarmed around him, attempting to tear him to shreds.

Although these devils might not look like it, but Lenny had long made up his mind not to underestimate them. After all, he did see them tear a great demon like it was nothing.

Just as they attacked, he waved his blade, made entirely from cosmic energy with soul runes on the bodu, making for an effective weapon against both normal devils that depended on physical attacks and those that depended on soul attacks.

Practically killing two birds with one stone.

At the same time, the centaurs also fought beside him, hacking and slashing at the devils all around them.

There were a lot of them, but it was nothing that the current Lenny could not deal without.

As lenny had entered this box, the old elf man had also joined him. He was not sure if Lenny was doing the right thing, but he knew that lenny was far more in tune with the cosmos and runes than he was and he would not outrightly jump into danger without a plan in mind.

Even though it looked like danger, he had followed basically on instinct.

The Devils all around them were much, but with Lenny and his farm animals doing the slicing and dicing, he had killed them all off in no time.

It was at such a time, that another room at another side of the door, opened up.

Those that were still left in the main room saw this, but before any of them could register what was going on, for them to dive in and join them, the huge cube shut immediately.

Lenny gave a smirk at the Bear beast man, making a mental note that he needed to teach that one a lesson later.

Once more, they had been lead to another room, much similar to the first one. Except that they were more boxes in this room that the last. Also, the boxes here were a hundred sided.

Lenny sighed at this, "it would seem like it gets more complicated the closer we get."

"The closer we get? what does that mean?" The old Elf asked.

"Oh, you have not figured it out yet. Well, the others will definitely figure it out, or at least i am sure even them are able to get it. And if those bimbos are able to figure it out, then you too can."

the Old Elf sighed, "You have already taken the lead on this dungeon, is it not easier if you just finish waht you started and tell me the thing that I need to know?" He sighed again.

Lenny took a look at him and chuckled loudly, and then he pointed to a box at the side, "I’ll rather show you with practical example. Solve that one."

The Old man was at first taken back by lenny’s request, but after seeing the way lenny had solved the other one, although not entirely familiar with how a Rubik’s cube worked, he could quickly develop a formular for a higher number using a strategic sequence of analytic approach, and then twist the variant boxes to find a possible solution.

And so he did. Of course, he took a long time, but it was not up to a miute. Once done, the box opened up, revealing that the inside was empty.

"So what do we do now? Do we enter?"

lenny shook his head, "not yet! Solve another one."

In this manner, the Elf old man solved three more. Now, in front of them were two boxes. One of them had devils that were eagerly waiting for them to enter on one side and then on the other was nothing.

Instinctively, the old Elf man wanted to enter any of the boxes without the obvious stay of enemies, but Lenny explained that this wa sthe trick of the Dungeon.

In truth, the one with nothing within, looked like the right path, but it was any thing but that. Most likely, regardless of how hard one’s skin had become as a result of the baptism of the cosmos due to increase in power level, the moment one entered these boxes that looked emptied, they would be crushed nearly immediately.

The old Elf turned to Lenny, "are you sure?" he asked in doubt.

"Well, you can test it for yourself!" Lenny invited him to enter the boxes that had nothing within.

the old man shook his head, refusing to step out.

Instead, he waved his hands, soul runes appearing and then he weaved them together with his fingers until a dear like creature appeared.

the deer looked like it had a life of its own once it came forth, jumping about the place.

Lenny frowned at this. "you can create life?" he thought to himself but out loud. But the old elf shook his head with a light chuckle.

"No, nothing like you can produce." he pointed to Lenny’s centaur servants. "I can only simulate life. It is not real, only carrying a bit of my soul, sacrificed by the minutes and days i have lived my life. I give the wisp of soul form and let it do my binding."

He waved his hand, allowing the Deer do as he commanded and immediately, it rushed into the hole that it had been directed in to. One of the holes that did not have devils waiting within.
