And so with a new resolve and a lack of choice in the situation, she rushed out towards the Hell beasts.

Of course, because of her injured leg, she could only take one small step at a time. but she followed behind them.

Human beings were seen no more than tiny ants in this place and the Hell beast mother, having checked behind to see that the advancing creature was of no consequence, did nothing to her.

However, just because the Hell beast did nothing, did not mean that the Devil that enjoyed hunting her was not alarmed by this.

All of a sudden, she could hear her Cells telling her to tighten up.

Her senses were much sharper now. At the moment, she was still receiving information from the cells within the devil’s body that were slowly being digested, and they all told her to run.

and so did, Forcing the cells that made up the muscles of her leg to tighten up, wrapping around the broken bone like a pad, and holding it firmly.

Even her did not know that she was capable of such a thing. Not until now of course.

This helped her and immediately, she sprinted. Kicking hard against the earth of this terrible cold world, as she rushed through its fierce harsh reality.

The devil had already gone on all four’s behind her, rushing over like a cheetah that was not going to let its pretty snack the satisfaction of escaping.

"FUCK!" She cursed as she kicked against the earth, rushing out as hard as she could.

After all, she knew that she could not lack behind, having to suffer a fate where you were eaten slowly was not one she enjoyed.

At the moment, she had already lost her eyes, her nose bridge, skin on the left and right side of her arm.

Weirdly enough, with the injuries she had suffered, a normal human being would have died a long time ago when she was fighting the devils back on earth.

But she was still a half born demon, meaning that she had a tougher nature than most people. The Devil probably realized that even with the wounds it had given her, as long as the essentials were not affected, she would last long.

A fridge of snacky meat and organs, all delicious to the taste.

And so she ran, rushing towards one of the Hell Beast children.

As she rushed to them, one of them, the youngest and smallest of them all, turned about to see her, its one inverted eye showed that it was curious as to what she was doing.

This curiosity made it pause a bit, giving Athena enough time to give a huge leap and mount its rare end. On doing so, the Hell beast child, rushed forward, obviously frightened by the devil that came behind Athena.

She breathed sharply in relief. However, just when she thought it was over, She felt a grab on her leg as a set of fingers sank into her flesh. Blood poured from the wound.

She turned about sharply and then she saw it. The Devil, it’s six eyes somehow smiling mischievously at her.

She kicked against its face, again and again, but it was of no use.

Her overall power level when she was at her peak was nothing compared to this monster.

It was not definitely going to do anything now with a few kicks.

The Devil applied some pressure and it pulled her. However, she held firm, digging her fingers into the body of the hell beast even though its skin at different places felt hard as a rock.

So hard that that the continuous pull grazed her skin even more, instantly bleeding her.

The devil smiled at this, obviously enjoying this hunt some more and then with another tug on both her legs, it pulled her off the body of the hell beast.

On crashing to the ground, Athena could not help but scream but the hell beast continued to rush forth.

And then the devil smiled as it turned to her, a smile on its face. This time around, it opened its mouth even wider, it was obvious that it wanted to punish her for what she had just done, a snack attempting to get away was only deserving of becoming poop.

However, as it came closer to her, her desperation could not take it any more, and she screamed, as she pushed as hard as she could on the devil’s stomach.

At that moment, in only nano seconds that her fingers had touched the body of the devil, something incredible had happened.

Her energy had connected with that of the devil. And a blast of energy and vibration occurred.

This blast was so huge that it smacked her back towards the Hell beast and the devil even further behind.

Athena was surprised by this, raising her hands up as if to see them even though she had no eyes.

She looked up at the Devil in the distance and then back at her arms.

She could see that the energy within the Devil’s body resonated with her own.

All this while, the Devil had been feeding off her, it had been taking a piece of her, and now that she could sense energy, she was able to accidentally resonate with her own energy that was lurking within the body of the beast.

And that was what caused the blast.

Athena was a smart woman. her mind thought fast. After all, this hit was not enough to bring down this foe. what she needed was something of superior power to fight her battle for her.

Instantly, she turned about at the figure of the little Hell beast. her blood was still smeared on its body.

She stretched her hand, trying to resonate with the blood on it. But it was of no use, it did not work.

At the same time, the devil, angry at what had just happened, stood to its feet, and then it kicked against the ground, rushing over...
