Chapter 1077: Hell Beast Assault

The days went by in a blur. Not that there was a way to tell time, but Athena was sensitive to the move of the seconds and the hours, and plainly out of her sanity, she calculated them judiciously.

The harder she worked at her skills, the more she improved. With the kind of control she had now discovered that she could have on her body, she no longer allowed any energy to go waste. She used it as besst as she could.

Every turn was never excessive, every move aimed to be precise, getting rid of all the flashy bends when performed.

She was so precise with it that if a gladiator in her old world were to see her now, they would think that she was actually a novice fighter. After all, her moves had now looked more unrefined than ever, but that was only because she had intensionally extracted all of the beauty of the move, allowing only its lethal nature to survive.

Every strike was with precision and every move polished to efficiency.

The more she practised, the better she became. Because there was no one to compare with, athena herself did not know that she had not only grown in skill, but also in power level. At the moment, she was a step away from entering the deep demon realm. But she did not know this as, and even lacked comprehension in the field.

Of course, the subconscious zeal to be better and grow even further was somewhere at the back of her mind, it just did not register to her that she was an half born and allowed the opportunity to evolve in power in that manner.

On this particular day, she had finished training and was having a little play time with the baby hell beast.

she had become quite close to them, and they to her.

She even managed to have named them. The first one was called B22 and the second was called C33. This could not be helped as she had a terrible naming sense, all thanks to her time in the Gladiator pits.

She was playing catch with them. She would throw the huge bone out to them and there would rush to go fetch it.

The mother Hell beast laid a distance away, bathing under the dim light of this place.

It was at this moment that aloud wail was heard. Instantly, everyone paused.

And turned in the direction it had come from.

The Mother Hell beast eye seemed to show fear and then it jumped to its feet as it called for its kids to follow along.

Without hesitation, they followed their mother.

Athena did not know what was happening, but she was not going to stay here either. These Hell beasts had practically become her home. There was also the fact that it would seem that there was a something weird going on.

This hell beast mother was so strong that she had been able to defend against any devil that had come so far. It was unthinkable to believe that she was suddenly scared.

It would only mean that whatsoever it was that was coming after them was just that much of a danger to them.

The only thing that they could do was flee and flee as fast as possible.

Athena hopped on the back of one of the younger ones.

As they ran even faster, Athena turned to look behind, and then she saw it. Far off in the distance was another hell beast.

This one was twice the size of the mother and it approached them with unimaginable speed.

It had a much shorter nose, and its body was red all over. Also, it had two inverted eyes on its head.

Athena even on top of the Hell beast baby could feel the tremendous power emanating from it.

Without a doubt, what was coming was very powerful.

However, she had never known hell beasts to be an aggressive bunch. After all, these creatures were so respectful that they were even willing to feed theire Elderly that were trapped for all eternity.

And then she sniffed the air. Her senses had become much sharper than ever before and things made a lot of sense to her.

She frowned at the realization she had come to. "The Asshole wants to Fuck!" She curse out loud. But she was right. The hell beast that was approaching was in heat and wanted to mate.

However, there was a couple of things wrong with this situation. One was the fact this mother hell beats was not in heat and therefore did not desire to be mounted.

Secondly, Even if, she was a nursing mother.

Athena did not know how it happened with Hell beasts, but she was sure that if that Hell beast came close to this mother hell beast, then these kids would be in trouble. After all, it was not uncommon back on earth for the males to kill off the younger ones just to have time with their mother.

Such was the nature of the cruel world. Even in hell, it was still the same.

But the approaching Hell beast got closer, and the closer it got the more Athena could feel it clearly.

There was something else on its body. This feel in the air, she knew it. She could not see it because she had no eyes, but she could definitely fell it.

That was a devil. A Devil was on top of the Hell beast.

This made her frown. After all, to the best of her knowledge, Hell beasts and Devils did not get along.

then again, she had met that Devil that was not as chaotic as the other devils and was even willing to feed on her slowly.

Within this place, there were surely devils that the chaos magic in the air, did not prevent their ability to think.

These kinds were the most dangerous.

this Devil on the Hell beast, she did not know, but it definitely commanded the Hell beast.

However, Athena quickly discovered a problem. This was a mother moving with her kids. For this reason, they were too slow and the Hell beast behind was catching up with them.

The Hell beast mother urged the little ones, to hurry up, but this was already the fastest they could move. Athena Frowned at this. She had to do something about this.

Luckily, she had fitted her weapons like a pouch on the body of the Little ones using the dead parts of the hell beast she had found.

She carried one of the arrows she had made, and nocked it on the bow, made out of bone and tendon, and then she concentrated as she focused her Darkline magic and control of energy into the bone.

*BOOM!*

The explosion was a huge one on impact. So profound that even Athena was taken back at this.

Of course it had landed on the body of the Hell beast.

Surprisingly, it actually slowed it down.

Athena smiled at this. She was not aware that the runes on the bones were reacting with the darkline magic and the energy she was putting it it to create such an incredible attack.

However, she was not aware that things were far more than she could predict.

Right now, the Hell beast mother was racing through a valley, and far above on one side of the valley was a devil that Athena would have recognised if she still had her eyes.

It smiled as it ordered the lesser devils around it, and then came the boulders twice the size of the Hell beast mother rolling down the hill.

Athena noticed this and so did the Hell beast mother. Those boulders were not strong enough to do her much harm but the kids were an entirely different news.

And for this reason, she slowed down her advance.

this meant that the hell beast behind could catch up with them.

The Hell beast mother opened her mouth and lunched sound wave attacks at the boulders, each one of them exploding on contact.

However, she was not able to prevent one in time, and it smashed hard into one of her youngs.

The Hell beast baby mourned in pain, and its mother stopped, and turned as she tried to help it back on its feet.

At the same time, Athena continued to fire off attacks, again and again.

However, the Devil on the hell beast’s body waved its hands, using its chaos magic to slap away her attacks.

Without a doubt, this devil was much stronger than her.

It was at this point that she heard crazy laughter coming from above.

And then she turned only to see the devil.

Everything suddenly made sense in her head. This... this was all its plan.

This devil had not let her go even for a moment.

It looked at her as it licked its lips.
