Chapter 1150: Arrival Of The Blood Bonds
Tomato’s gaze suddenly snapped toward Lamastu, her eyes narrowing as her lips curled into a grin. Without hesitation, she kicked the ground, propelling herself forward in a blur of speed and raw power. The ground cracked beneath her, sending tremors through the battlefield as she rushed towards her target.
Lamastu, seeing the incoming threat, braced herself. "You little vile thrash..." With a roar, she threw a thunderous punch aimed squarely at Tomato’s chest.
The force of the blow landed directly, the impact resounding like a thunderclap. Dust and debris flew up from the sheer power of the strike, and Tomato was pushed back—but only two steps.
She stood firm, her body barely budging under the attack, her smirk only widening as she glanced down at the spot where Lamastu’s fist had made contact.
"My turn," Tomato growled, her voice low and menacing. This shedevil was one that enjoyed violence. When Lenny had first met her, she had literally removed his arm.
Physical violence was what she lived for.
With a swift motion, she swung her own fist, slamming it into Lamastu with a force that echoed across the arena. The punch landed hard enough to send Lamastu stumbling back, her eyes widening in surprise.
The realization hit her immediately—Tomato had risen to her level. The same level power coursed through both of them now, making them equals in strength. But according to Lamastu’s calculations, this should not be possible.
Especially not the way things are at the moment. After all, Lamastu was using Laws within her veins to give her human self power close to that of a magic user.
Lamastu was infuriated by this sudden shift, and clenched her fists and charged forward again. Her eyes burned with anger as she launched another barrage of punches.
In an instant, the two women collided, exchanging blows with raw, unrestrained ferocity. Their fists clashed with such intensity that shockwaves rippled out from each impact, sending sonic waves that shattered the very ground beneath them.
The arena, once grand and imposing, crumbled under the sheer force of their battle. Stone pillars cracked and fell, walls collapsed, and the air itself seemed to vibrate with the power of their strikes.
Punch after punch, they fought without pause, their speed and strength unmatched. Each strike sent shockwaves that reverberated through the battlefield, tearing through the terrain, leaving destruction in their wake.
From a distance, Lenny watched the brutal confrontation unfold. Even he had to admit that the sight was incredible—two titanic forces, locked in a battle that seemed almost beyond comprehension. The sheer magnitude of their power was enough to leave even him momentarily in awe.
But as Tomato continued to hold Lamastu at bay, Lenny knew what he had to do. With Lamastu occupied, he turned his gaze toward Naamah. Now was his chance. He had to deal with her before she could unleash any more devastation. With a determined expression, Lenny moved swiftly, leaping into the air to meet her in the sky.
In the sky above, the orb continued to pulse and vibrate with ancient energy, its runes spilling out in all directions like cascading rivers of power. Each rune bathed the sky in a foreboding glow, etching symbols into the very fabric of reality.
The barrier that surrounded the planet was once impenetrable and absolute, but now it began to crack and shatter under the weight of the overwhelming force. In a final, resounding break, the barrier gave way, its fragments dissolving into the ether.
As the barrier collapsed, a blinding light surged outward, wrapped in swirling white runes, and shot far into the distance, disappearing into the abyss of the cosmos. Its destination: the plane known as Purgatory. The moment the light touched Purgatory’s boundaries, the Nine Seals that held the realm in place began to flicker, shining with a dim, struggling glow as they resisted the intrusion. Yet, the power from the orb was far too great. The seals trembled, their defenses weakening as cracks formed on their surfaces. Purgatory, the eternal prison, was starting to unravel.
Naamah, floating amidst the chaos, watched with cold detachment as Lenny ascended through the air toward her. Her blind eyes, glowing with power, seemed to see through him as she spoke, her voice carrying a tone of inevitability. "You cannot stop what is destined to happen," she stated, a chilling smile playing at her lips.
Lenny smirked back, unbothered by her words. "Stop it? I’m not here to stop it. I’m here to take your life." His voice was steady, confident, as he launched himself toward her with a burst of speed, his fists ready to strike.
But as he closed in, his instincts screamed in warning. A sudden surge of danger filled the air behind him, causing him to pull back immediately.
In that split second, something—or someone—plummeted from the sky like a fiery meteor. The figure smashed into the ground below with such force that the earth itself seemed to shudder in response. Dust and debris exploded outward, creating a massive crater in the battlefield.
Lenny floated above, his eyes widening at the sight. Whatever had just arrived carried an unimaginable weight of power. Naamah’s expression remained unchanged, her gaze fixed on Lenny as if she had anticipated this all along. The ground trembled beneath the crater, and Lenny could sense the overwhelming presence radiating from within it.
Who—or what—had just entered the battle tugged at lenny’s heart. After all, the mark of the morningstar on his chest had began to glow in an ethereal light.
But he did not notice this. The dust cleared and the first person rose from it, literally standing on the other that was completely covered in bruised and his own blood.
The one standing was a young boy. He looked like an elf, and the second person on the ground that was beaten and bruised looked very familiar even though he was obviously a demon.
Lenny’s eyes widened in surprise as a thought came to his head on the identity of the person, "Agent ’X’?"
