Chapter 1153: Lenny Vs Seraphiel
Chapter 1153: Lenny Vs Seraphiel
Lenny was once the top assassin in his world. this was a merit given not just for the capability that he had in his craft but also because he was able to deliver the goal of the mission no matter the cost.
Many times, it had not been easy. As such, it was always essential for an assassin to have a great many skill set. After all, the most underrated piece of information or knowledge might be the reason one reached their target or in some cases, save your own life.
As Such, lenny had always had the mind of a sponge, absorbing it all. As much knowledge as he could get, he took it all into himself. this naturally resulted in him having a huge arsenal of skills and of course, a huge arsenal of fighting techniques.
the moment he had seen the elf boy seraphiel take tai chi stance, Lenny had taken a muay thai.
His reason for this was because of how he had see Seraphiel redirect and control the holy flames he had sent his way.
This Elf’s style of martial arts involves the redirection flow of energy. It was like creating new paths for water to pass through.
As such, lenny decided that he was going to break that flow. After all, controlling such potent energy must not be easy. This was why he was using a more straight forward and brutal technique.
Muah Thai was a martial arts fighting style that made emphasis on breaking parts of the opponents body with force.
And So the battle began.
Lenny surged forward, his muscles coiled like a spring, his first strike was a powerful knee aimed straight at Seraphiel’s midsection, a brutal opening move designed to shatter bones. The sound of his knee cutting through the air was like a gunshot, a sonic boom that seemed to warp the space around them. The force behind the strike was immense, enough to crumble stone.
But Seraphiel moved with fluidity, like water, pivoting out of the way just in time. His hands, soft and smooth like silk, guided Lenny’s momentum forward, redirecting the force into the empty air. Lenny barely had time to recover before Seraphiel’s palm strike came down, targeting the back of his neck. The slap was gentle on the surface but carried the force of a thunderclap. The ground beneath them trembled, sending out shockwaves that deepened the dirt beneath their feet.
Lenny countered swiftly, driving his elbows toward Seraphiel’s face with the force of a battering ram. His strikes were vicious, each one aimed to crush bone or cause serious injury. Muay Thai was brutal—an art designed for combat and survival. Every strike was constantly packed with power and aggression. When his elbow connected with Seraphiel’s forearm, the resulting impact sent shockwaves through the air, creating a deafening crack that reverberated around them.
But Seraphiel, with his mastery of Qi, flowed around each strike. His movements were like a dance, effortlessly bending and twisting through the barrage of attacks. He never blocked head-on; instead, he used Lenny’s own force against him, redirecting energy and twisting away like the wind. Every time Lenny threw a punch or a kick, Seraphiel’s hands would subtly shift the direction, making it feel as though Lenny was fighting the air itself.
As they exchanged blows, the ground around them sank even deeper, the sheer force of their strikes carving a crater beneath their feet. The air itself seemed to ripple with the energy of their clash, soundwaves blasting outward with each hit. Lenny’s fists swung in relentless arcs, connecting with such force that any normal opponent would have been shattered. But Seraphiel moved like liquid, bending and weaving, and the few times Lenny’s strikes did land, the damage seemed superficial.
Seraphiel smiled amidst the chaos, his voice calm as he spoke between blows, "I can tell you’re better than your father, Agent X. If you were born in the same generation as me, you’d have easily surpassed him… perhaps even me." His eyes gleamed with a predatory light. "But I’m superior now."
Lenny grunted, his breath ragged but still unyielding. "I Still am better than you."
He responded with a low kick to Seraphiel’s knee, aiming to unbalance him, followed quickly by a series of elbow strikes targeting Seraphiel’s joints. He felt the bone of Seraphiel’s shoulder give way slightly under the force, a brief triumph. But Seraphiel only laughed, his body flowing around the strikes as if Lenny’s aggression fueled him.
Seraphiel spun on his heels, delivering a palm strike straight into Lenny’s chest. The blow wasn’t physically overpowering, but as soon as it landed, Lenny felt a searing pain deep beneath his skin. It wasn’t the usual pain of a bruise or broken bone; this was deeper—an attack aimed directly at his nerves and muscles. The Qi in Seraphiel’s strikes seemed to bypass the surface, dissolving through Lenny’s hardened skin and disrupting the flow of energy within his body. Lenny could feel his muscles twitch uncontrollably, his nerves weakening as if they were on fire.
"Your body may be tougher, but my Qi... it dissolves where brute strength can’t reach," Seraphiel said, circling Lenny with a predatory grace. His attacks, though seemingly light, were methodical. A quick strike to Lenny’s ribs sent another wave of pain deep into his muscles, making him wince. Lenny managed a counter, driving his fist into Seraphiel’s abdomen, momentarily buckling the man. But even as Seraphiel’s breath hitched, he twisted away, his body recovering too quickly.
Lenny pushed forward with a brutal elbow aimed for Seraphiel’s jaw, but Seraphiel intercepted with a palm, twisting Lenny’s arm and sending another surge of Qi into his shoulder. The pain erupted inside, and Lenny could feel his muscles weakening. Despite his strength, despite his power, Seraphiel’s strikes were beginning to wear him down.
"You fight well, boy," Seraphiel said, almost mockingly. "But every strike you take weakens you further." He moved in close, avoiding a headbutt from Lenny, and delivered a swift series of palm strikes to Lenny’s torso. Each one sent waves of debilitating pain into his muscles and nerves. Lenny’s chest heaved, and with each exhale, blood trickled from his mouth. His body, though powerful, was starting to falter. Seraphiel’s Qi was slowly dissolving him from the inside out.
Lenny’s vision blurred slightly as he staggered back, wiping the blood from his lips. He could feel his strength waning with every second. He had landed solid hits on Seraphiel, weakening some joints, but it wasn’t enough. Seraphiel’s strikes, though deceptively gentle, were relentless in how they dissolved his defenses.
And soon, lenny’s attacks began to fault and it seemed as if even raising his own arms was becoming heavy. With the weight came slow speed, and soon, the hits had become one sided. Again and Again and Again.
And lenny kept on spitting more blood.
And finally, he could not hold it anymore and he fell on his knees.
Seraphiel had a grin on his face as he stood over Lenny, "don’t worry, you were not bad. Even your father was unable to touch me, and yet you did. In truth, I have not had fun like that in a very long time. Your Death will be swift." He grabbed lenny by his long white hair, pulling it backwards.
But to his surprise, Lenny had a bloody face, but with a smile back at him. "Yeah, no doubt, your fighting sytle is better, but that is why you lost."
The Elf raised a brow at him.
"You will have to forgive me old man. I am not just a fighter, but also a very good learner. And you have been my teacher all the way, of course, also my helper." Lenny then looked up, towards the Orb shooting light towards Purgatory, and Seraphiel’s eyes followed. He was shocked to see it.
