Chapter 916: Loki’s Delima
Chapter 916: Loki’s Delima
Meanwhile, deep in the Vacuum of Space, on a deserted sub plane with no life whatsoever, Loki relaxed on a stone as he enjoyed the twinkle of the stars.
"Are you sure this plan of yours will work?" A feminine voice asked. "That was a lot of precious materials that you gifted them."
Without raising his head to see who it was, he smiled, "have you ever heard of the story of the Trojan horse?"
"I have," the female voice replied, "If I remember correctly, that happened on the fourth Earth. The primary plane that the beelzebub family now occupy."
Loki nodded, "Yes, thats the one. Even though humans were quite primitive then, the lesson in that story was so epic that it spread through the cosmos, enlightening both gods, and monsters alike."
"Huh!?" Are you saying that you have a trap within the Spatial ring? that is not possible. No living being can exist in a spatial space that tight. they will die. Unless of course you managed to put an entity in there."
Loki still staring at the stars chuckled. "You see, Vanamum, we learn from lessons of others not to duplicate their achievements, but to perfect it. In this case, I sent the problem even before the Horse. After all, they are not stupid enough to not check the ring for traps."
"Are you talking about the Entities that you tricked into inflicting the eighth earth?"
Loki nodded, "You see, the plan is simple. We give gifts, again and again, claiming to establish friendly relations..." He suddenly sat up and turned to a particular corner. Although there did not seem to be any one there, he did not stop talking.
"There is an earthly book of the ninth earth. You should read it. It is titled: Tsun Zu’s art of war. When one give gifts again and again, it will get to a time that good will will come with a dagger and the prospects receiving the gifts will not suspect it."
"Hmmm! I see why you are called the god of mischief. You are basically mixing both techniques together. Giving gifts after the poison of the Outcast entities. But how are you sure it will work?"
"Oh! It will. I played Chess with the Regent."
"Are you betting the victory of a Demon Royal Family on a chess game?"
Loki Chuckled, "Well, if you put it that way, then yes, yes I am. You will be surprised the amount of things you can know about a person after one game of chess with them. They become easily... predictable. The Outscast Entities will do what Entities are best known for. They will cause chaos, and when the Lenny family are at Wits end, I will be there to render my help of course..."
"For a price!"
"Yes, for a price... maybe, allowing a settlement in our name to camp on the land, and then slowly, we break them from inside out."
The female voice giggle lightly, "Loki, You always find a way to out do yourself, and that is why I think highly of you. However. a little reminder for you. The gods might claim to accept you, but all you were given was this barren sub plane as your territory.
Odin did this, so that he could watch you, a god and devil hybrid closely. after all these thousand years, I am sure that you are aware that they will never ever accept you for what you are."
"And you will?" Loki asked with a frown, "you have been saying the same thing for hundreds of years. I have been doing your bidding. I even encouraged the gods as you asked, poisoning their hearts with greed for them to join the war that killed the Morningstar.
Back then, you promised me that you will give me a title, and give me back my demon mother in one piece. Or are you no longer capable of this? A principality, surely you can..."
"SILENCE!!!" A Sharp gust of wind blew that tore against Loki’s body, bleeding him at different points in the process. "Know your place half-born. You should be glad that a Principality like myself even looks in your direction. If you vex me any more, your mother will pay the full punishment for mating with a god!"
On saying this, a Flame appeared in mid air. And from within, one could see a female demon with thick nails all over her body, nailed to a cross.
Her suffering was apparent.
"Mother!" he called to her, and the female demon within the flames looked at him with tears in her eyes, "my son..."
*WUSH!* the image disappeared just when Loki stretched for it.
"You Promised! You promised no harm will come to her." Loki gritted his teeth.
"No! I promised to preserve her life until you prove yourself more than just a half born abomination. Give the Eighth Earth to the Abaddon royal Family and you will be rewarded greatly. Getting your mother will be the least of the gifts you shall receive. Lord Abaddon might even be willing to award you an elder position.
But if you mess this up, the death of your mother will be the least of your worries." Loki suddenly felt his chest tighten. He could feel incredible pain that came from deep within his core.
It was as if an invisible force was about to crush it. However, just when he was about to lose his life, it suddenly stopped and the presence disappeared.
Loki fell to his knees. His graceful appearance had been roughed. He breathed heavily as he massaged his chest. However, he could not help but give a cunny smirk.
"humans, gods, royal demons.... hahahaha! I will show you all. I will show you all..."
....
Meanwhile, at this time, Lenny had met eyes with Depression and for a few seconds both of them paused. This was most especially true for Depression. She was trying to invade a body and the owner was grinning at her.
She could not help but feel as if she had been led into a trap.
"So that’s what you her!" Lenny commented....
