Chapter 918: Pay Back

He was hooked up to a complicated machine in Nikky’s lab. After a while, she walked up to him with the results. "I can’t believe I am saying this, but it would seem that your cells are too depressed to heal."

Those words sounded as ridiculous as Lenny had heard them. However, they were true. Depression had left her mark. Lenny remembered that Depression said she had cursed him, but he had not exactly thought of it to be a problem.

After all, was it really possible?

lenny waved his hand and and threw a little core, shaped like a star to Nikky, "After I destroyed her, she left this behind, analyze it as fast as possible, and tell the others to be careful."

A quick bandage to the wound that would not heal was placed on his chest and Lenny left the lab back to the garden.

"Satan System, what was that ’Depression’?"

"You will tell me about all that later. What i want to know is how long the so called curse placed on me will last?"

Now, Lenny was even more confused by what the System was saying. However, he did not have the patience to start on that topic. His experience with the Satan system had taught him that the world was just too huge and the only way he could properly learn and absorb any thing to be taught was if he was in that situation.

"Is there any way to reduce the time to remove the curse?" he asked again.

"Hmmm!" lenny nodded. Then again, that had been his plan even before the distraction that Depression brought about.

Lenny pointed at the Arcane Pillars and ordered the Satan System to consume them.

All the Seven pillars that had been used to imprison Uriel were instantly consumed by the Satan System.

"What!? Whay so long?" Lenny asked. After all, the last time, the System had improved, it had only taken it a few days at most.

Lenny frowned, but there was no going back now. Besides, he still had some time. Clawed had to look for the materials in other Sub planes and he also had to build the portal that would take him to purgatory.

Just then, Lenny got a message from father Black. According to him, Clawed had found an old stash of treasures that Governor Momoa had and within were ample amounts of Precious stones and materials that would help with the portal that he needed to go to purgatory.

Father Black did not tell Lenny that these precious stones and materials had actually come as a gift from Loki.

Father Black was very clear as to the importance of the materials that lenny needed, and Frankly, he knew that Lenny did not care about the source of it all.

Their king needed to be stronger and that was the most important thing.

Through the family crest, Father Black also informed Lenny that he had permitted the entry of more workers in order for the speedy work on the portal that would take Lenny to purgatory.

All other works on the other portals have been paused temporarily. He in formed Lenny that the portal would be ready in about a week according to Clawed.

Lenny nodded at this. So far, things were going as he wanted them to. Firstly, his upgrade on his system had began and in no time, he would soon be able to access other benefits that the Satan system had.

Insect-B was in charge of helping the humans that had been imprisoned all their lives to adjust to the new state of things. Morgana had been set with the task of protecting the Glen’s territory and ensuring thhe safety of the people there.

Then again, she wouldn’t have had it any other way. Morgana wanted to be as close to Lenny as possible.

And lastly, Crusher and Victor remained on sentry duty against invaders that could potentially cause harm to the planet.

However, Lenny knew that all this was not enough. He had already instructed Nikky to tell the others to be careful about Entities, After all, these creatures could slip past the cosmic rule and enter the earth.

If Depression could do it, then others could do it too.

Then again, Lenny disposed of her rather very easily, and he believed that other members of his family could do it too.

Nevertheless, he was only able to identify her because of the teachings that he had acquired from Uriel.

This meant that he needed to teach his family about the After Truth that was their reality and the world before it.

Even for him, it took months to learn the things he knew. It would take too long to teach the others.

The only solution was what the Satan System had to produce. According to the System, once upgraded, he could give his family members a part of the System and this would help them a lot.

All he could do was continue his reading and stacking up on knowledge and wait till the Portal was ready.

However, Lenny was not aware that at the time that he had killed Depression, the other outcasts had felt it.

"Depression is no more!" Loathe spoke up.

Grudge stood not so far from her, "It was Despair’s idea to have us possess the family members of lenny Tales. That is not proving to be a very good idea."

"They are bound to be accidents!" Loathe admitted. either ways, I will still do as she said." Loathe was like the wind. she floated into the sky and went away from Grudges presence.

Grudge still contemplated what to do, and was thinking if to still heard for a member of Lenny’s family. However, it was at this time that he felt a deep grudge that called to him like a bright light in the dark.

Grudge, though an entity, had the form of solid rock. he turned in the direction of the grudge he was feeling and nodded, "Interesting!"

And in no time, he took a huge leap and was before the individual.

This man looked half dead. He was skinny and his clothes torn at different points stuck to his skin, evidently, he had battled through the bloody monsters of the waste lands and barely survived.

Grudge, easily got rid of the giant worm that was about to feast on the man.

Although he looked almost half dead, Grudge looked at him and smiled, "I am the entity Grudge, and your deep resentment has called me."

the man raised his eyes to Grudge. His eyes sparkled with negative energy, evidence that he was a witch. He knew about entities, and to achieve what he wanted, he did not mind the proposal that Grudge was presenting even though the entity had not yet spoken.

"If you will give me the power to have revenge for my masters, then I accept!" The man spoke up.

Grudge chuckled loudly as his body became ethereal and he rushed into the man’s soul.

A day later, at the entry into Glen’s territory, a Werewolf stood as guard. Men and women from all over the waste lands had come. some to pay homage to the new king, and others to find a source of livelihood. This was to be expected. even Father Black had predicted that Glenn’s territory in the nearby future was going to be the capital city of the whole world.
