Chapter 945: Betrayal

A fiery rush that enveloped him, -Grudge was burnt into nothingness.

Crusher and the others watched from the distance. Crusher molded a fist in anger. He had worked tirelessly for days and had only made the enemy stronger. Now, however, with only a swing of the hand, Loki had vanquished their enemy.

"You shouldn’t have done this!" Crusher spoke up. His eyes looked like it would spit out fire. However, he held back his anger. "We were handling it!"

"Handling it!?" morgana spoke up. "Everything would have already been destroyed by the time you and your pet were done treating the problem." By pet, she was referring to Insect-B.

"I was working on it!" Nikky spoke up. However, even Nikky knew that she had done more harm than good.

Father Black did not talk. The Lenny family were fighting, and now, it was a wonder if he was up to the task in the first place. He sighed.

After he was done, Crusher turned about and flew away. Perseus and victor joined him.

On the Other hand, Morgana stood at corner, her eyes still fixed on Loki as grudge evaporated into nothingness. Loki turned to her and gave a side smile. One part of his plan had been done.

Despair at another part of the World turned in the direction of Grudge’s demise. "more for us then!" she commented as she laughed heartily. At the moment, she was as large as a lake. Within her body were men and women crying and screaming their despair.

It was a malevolent dark sight of emotional degradation and mental instability.

Slowly, she began to move her body in that direction. As she did, she smiled. After all, what it seemed was not what it was. With Loki, it never was.

"Lenny! Lenny!!" Mupstick called, and Lenny instantly opened his eyes. It was dark, but Mupstick called to him with a little lamp in hand from outside the window. Something was not right. Mupstick was calling him from outside the window.

Lenny came closer go to attend to him.

"Lenny! you must leave the village immediately." he spoke with strong conviction. To which lenny raised a questioning brow. "What happened?"

"they is no much time. Your life is in danger. Its the Village head. Earlier today, after you had left her quarters, I saw a soul raven leaving her window. You might not know this, but soul ravens are used in this place to send messages.

They are those amongst the villagers that believe the Village head to be a very stern woman when she was in the military. She had incredible military achievements and even though things have degraded thus far, it is believed that she is still loyal to the Royal demon Family.

I fear that she must have sent word to them for your capture."

mupstick had barely finished talking when Lenny sensed certain movements from the ground. He had the ability to sense presence from several kilometers.

In his mind’s eye, he could see beasts mounted by demons on their way to the village. they even pulled with them another terrifying beast in a cage. From the looks of things, they would be here within the minute.

What Mupstick had said was true. The village head had sold him out. As far as the old woman was concerned, this was an opportunity. An opportunity that she had been waiting for.

What she wanted was the chance to present Lenny to the soldiers as a member of the rebels against the Demon family for benefits. After all, Lenny did say so himself.

To have connections to a fierce man like Cain was certainly an offence. One that could see the potential of her being rewarded greatly.

Basically, she was selling him out for money.

Lenny frowned. Amongst those that were coming, he could even sense the presence of one that had a more terrifying power build up than himself.

This person was the one that actually kept the beast in the cage calm.

From the looks of things, the village head was even able to guess lenny’s approximate power level and communicated it to the Demons.

Which in turn, had sent a greater demon power house commander to apprehend him.

"We need to get you out of here immediately!"

Lenny nodded as he dove out of the window.

"I know a secret route through the mountains. It was the same one we used to the silent Valley and thus the pig market. I heard it was used during the wars You might be able to navigate your way through."

Mupstick led Lenny through the dark night, with the low lamp to a big rockyside. He placed his hand on the big Rock and closed his eyes gently as if to speak to the earth.

The rock responded, opening a door for them to go through.

However, just when they were to leave, Lenny suddenly frowned and turned sharply behind.

What happened was this.

The Greater demon, having a stronger connection to the cosmic force had sensed the movement in the area, and gave the order for the Beast in the cage to be released.

This beast, was in fact the Greater demon’s pet. However, this was not a soul beast. It was something more terrifying. It was Jin. Although it was a second generation Jin, it could not be underestimated.

Jins were the by products of Nephilims having sexual relations with animals and beasts of the wild. This one was a second generation Jin. This meant that its parents were jins.

Second Generation Jins were known to be very babaric and very difficult to control. The fact that this Greater demon commander could control one was evidence that his abilities were very vast and profound.

Then again, it was said that all of the commanders and Officers under Naamah were special. This could not be helped.
