Chapter 947: Burn Of A Jin

The Village head remained standing in her position lamenting the result of her greed.

"No! No! No!!!" She hurried forward. "My lord! please... Don’t do this. Your servant has been good. I have been loyal. Please! Spare your humble servants..." She tried to rush towards the Jin throwing purple fire upon the land.

Venir, like all the other villagers had woken up from sleep. She searched for Mupstick and Lenny, but did not see either of them.

In her panic, she rushed out of the room. Looking left and right, she rushed out of the house. "Uncle Mupstick! Uncle Mupstick!! Lenny! Lenny!!" She screamed, again and again.

*BOOM!*

Explosions went off all around her. Fortunately, she was not affected by any or the debris that followed.

At such a moment, she saw the village head rushing for the malevolent creature that had come to bring them their end.

Purple Flames blazed all around them like a furnace.

Venir tried to reach out to the village head, but the old woman did not hear the young girl’s voice, drowned within the screams and wails of the screaming and burning people about them.

Just when she got to her and pulled her by her skirt, the jin had its many eyes fixed on them.

Focusing on the two, the purple down pour, like judgment from heaven fell. It was like an intense waterfall.

Venir and the Village head had their eyes wide open as their eyes were unable to peel from the obvious death they were going to face.

Time Seemed to slow at this point, but their feet remained rooted in place. The only movement was Venir tightening her grip around the village Head’s blouse.

However, like the sudden eclipse of the sun in the mid day, a figure suddenly appeared before the blast.

Spreading his hands apart, white flames shot out of his body into the environment, acting as a shield to protect them.

In this manner, they were fortunately saved.

The village head looked at who had saved her life. "Lenny!?" She thought to herself.

However, as the flames slowly settled, Lenny eyes remained on her. "Did you call them?"

The Village head was left speechless by those words. Her mouth quivered.

Lenny sighed. Slowly, before Venir’s eyes, Lenny’s hands moved. His hands grabbed the old woman by the head....

Lenny stopped before the secret passage way. In front of him was the way out, but behind him, he could already tell that the destruction had started.

However, it was not the fact that destruction was occuring behind him and he suddenly developed a heart that made him stop in his tracks.

Rather, it was something else entirely.

For some reason lenny did not understand, he felt as if someone was owing him and leaving was him leaving a debt uncollected.

It was a feeling that did not originate from his mind, but rather from his state of being.

He had a debt he needed to collect.

"What is it, Lenny!? If it is Venir you are worried about, then don’t I will go back and get her. For now, you need to leave. The Demons are after you!" Mupstick advised. However, Lenny suddenly took several steps back, "not without my payback!"

If Lenny had been only a second late, then the Village head would have been killed. Luckily he had made it in time.

This was why he sighed. It was in relief. He would have really hated himself if that Jin had taken his debt from underneath his nose.

Grabbing the Village head by her head, he placed his thumb fingers in the center of her temple, and then in an abnormally incredible force, he pulled her body apart like he was tearing a used sheet of paper.

The sudden turn of events surprised everybody. And everyone stared in shock.

This included, Mupstick who was far away and Venir who had the old woman’s warm blood and innards splash on her body.

lenny took a deep breath in and then out. He suddenly felt relief. this old woman had betrayed him. If he had not done something about it, it would have hunted him for a very long time. Even though he was still without his full memories, Lenny’s person had not changed.

With a wave of his hands, her corpse stained the ground.

All of a sudden, he felt better. On the other hand, Venir was frozen with fear. Lenny did not allow her the privilege to muse the happenings at the time. After all, the Jin in the Sky now had its eyes on them, and Lenny had proven to be quite formidable.

With a wave of his hands, Lenny sent a white fireball the size of a huge boulder.

In retaliation, the Jin fired back. Like hot knife through butter, its purple flames actually tore through Lenny’s attack.

However, when the flames were gone, there was nothing there.

From a perspective, it was easy to believe that the purple flames had turned Lenny and the little girl to ash. However, the greater Demon watching from far away frowned at this.

Lenny threw both Venir and mupstick to the ground. This was within the hidden tunnels.

He fell to his knees. A sizzling sound with the smell of burnt flesh filled the air.

Both came from lenny’s back. "Quick! We have to move." He encouraged and they hurried to escape.

A few minutes later, The greater demon, head break landed on the ground. His pet remained beside him, consuming the burnt corpses of the soldiers.

It was the jin’s own private buffet.

Breakhead touched the ground. Even the earth had become ash. Wiping the dust off his tongue, he shook his head, "he got away!" he muttered.

"Search the area. Our prey is a Great Demon existence, but he has a weak soul and received a blast from from the Wrym of Souls. He cannot go far. The flames of my Jin never die until the prey is no more. It will consume his soul..."

Commander Headbreak was right....
