Chapter 988: Soul Wreck

Lenny lowered his fists slightly, showing he wasn’t intending to continue the fight unless necessary. "I’ m not manipulating you. I’ m stating a fact. We truly do not need to fight. You know, now that I think of it..." Lenny frowned. "you don’t even have a core do you?"

Her many eyes shook a bit and then refocused on him.

This was all the evidence that lenny needed to know his assumption was true.

Truly, this was a very abnormal dungeon. How the hell was they a Devil with Greater demon rank strength that was without a core?

That was basically a spit on the face of nature.

Also, With just this brief exchange of words, lenny could tell that this She-devil was practically a muscle brain. Of course the other devil bosses were not all that bright too, but that was majorly because of exposure. Nevertheless, they were beyond impressive when compared to the muscle brain in front of him.

Lenny could not help but imagine how such a dumb person had climbed to become the boss of a level.

Her fists were still up against him, and her many eyes still looked at him like he was prey. Of course, as Lenny was scrutinizing her, she was doing the same thing to him.

it had only been a few days ago that she had first encountered lenny. Back then, she had beaten him like he was a ragged doll, and he had only barely escaped from her.

However, in only a few short days he had become so strong enough that he had killed three devil Bosses of this dungeon. These were three Devil Bosses that were all Greater devils. Of course, she was not of the knowledge that Lenny had tricked all of them in one way or the other.

A fair fight of brute force against the Devil Bosses was not what he could win. Then again, wisdom and knowledge were a part of a person’s strength.

For this, she could not let down her guard.

After all, she did not know what kind of secrets that he had, or what he could do.

She tightened her fists before her face, getting ready for another exchange. However, Lenny suddenly sat on the ground. This made all her eyes look at him in surprise.

However, that was not all. Lenny waved his hand, bringing out Left overs of one of the corpses of the Devil Boss.

"I have a better suggestion. I’ll trade you this corpse. I know you devils are not so ridged on Cannibalism. In fact, you wont mind eating your own mother. I am very sure that such a corpse is far more satisfying to your taste than me."

On seeing the corpse, her eyes faltered again, obviously, Lenny had caught her attention with his words.

For a moment, she took a step forward, but then paused and took a step back. "You poisoned it!" she suddenly added.

"Oh, she is not all that dumb it seems." lenny spoke to himself. If the last devil boss was as careful as she was about his food, he would not have died sop easily.

However, lenny had not poisoned this. Firstly, he did not have poison that was enough to hurt such a powerful powerhouse.

Secondly, he was out of cores at the moment. he had digested the last one.

"I’ll give it to you. And you can give me a bit of information." on saying this, Lenny threw it at her. Immediately, she caught it before it could touch the ground.

like a wild animal, she sniffed it a bit, here and there. And then, her features changed.

If Lenny was to describe it, then he would say that she had become more human. The Many eyes on her body suddenly disappered, a human face appeared on her head and her muscular frame reduced, of course it was still toned, but it was now more feminine.

She was practically a red naked woman standing before him.

Opening her mouth wildly, she began gobbling the meat up, "hmmm, Brother Fish eyes, I always had a feeling you would be delicious, but I did not know that you would be this good." she thought out loud as she tore through its flesh.

"From what i gather, there is a Last Devil Boss. The King of the Entire dungeon. The One the others call, Soul Wreck. I heard you are closest to him. the others did not know much, but I am sure you do. i want information on him."

As Lenny spoke, he had activated a skill that came with one of his titles

This skill allowed his words to appear friendly to people that heard them, coaxing them gently into what he wanted.

For a brute, and meat brain such as this devil Boss, it was more than valuable.

Of course, Lenny was still of the opinion of killing her, but without a core, he would not know what she had in her head, because there was nothing to absorb.

For such a very unique situation like hers, he had to learn the old fashioned way, which was by interrogation.

"You want to know about Soul Wreck? Hmmm.... he will..." she turned to Lenny with a very serious face, "...He will Kill you!"

After which, she continued eating.

"Hmmm! that much i can tell." Lenny added, "from what i know, he should also be a Rank one greater demon, why do you all fear him so much?"

The she devil spoke with her mouth full. "Because Soul Wreck... is not a normal devil."

"What do you mean?"

"He can change. He can change everything any time he wants to. Even this dungeon can be changed."

With her brief explanations, Lenny was not getting anywhere, so he decided on another approach.

"When did he start? I mean, how did he get his ’changing power’?"

"Oh! It started a long time ago. back then, we were always getting food enter the dungeon. But this food was not normal food. This food was..." she thought for a while, "...special."
