Global Beast Mastery: Only I Can See the Hints

Chapter 563: Nathaniel's Movements

Chapter 563: Nathaniel's Movements

In the red zone, near the central canyon area, Charles furrowed his brow slightly as yet another ferocious beast fell.

By the current timeline, the remaining four talented Beast Masters from Kingston should have arrived by now, even if they were lagging behind.

Charles usually kept Mia flying in the air to scout for various information.

However, strangely, aside from the traces they left when hunting ferocious beasts, there were no signs of anyone else's presence near the central canyon area.

This made Charles more alert. At this point, it was no longer possible for Miles Carter and Skylar to achieve victory by hunting ferocious beasts and obtaining Blood-red Jade.

The only thing they could do now was to initiate a battle once again!

Charles looked up, gazing at the vast canyon in the distance, especially at the canyon walls that were nearly two to three hundred meters high. He knew very well that if there was any ideal place for an ambush, it would be above those canyon walls.

This canyon was the only path leading to the final destination of the contest.

The question was, what method would Miles Carter use for one last attempt?

While Charles didn't have the god's-eye view, the viewers watching the live broadcast could clearly see every move that Miles Carter made.

Some viewers sent messages in confusion:

"That's strange, why aren't Miles Carter and the others hunting ferocious beasts? Why are they focusing on the Bloodthirsty Antelope, the most dangerous creature in the red zone?"

"Are they crazy? Do they plan to hunt the Bloodthirsty Antelope?"

"Impossible, even if all ten of Kingston and Genosha's talented Beast Masters—no, now there are only nine of them—attacked together, they wouldn't stand a chance against a Bloodthirsty Antelope."

"Not necessarily. If they can take down the Bloodthirsty Antelope Leader, they might be able to hunt a large number of Bloodthirsty Antelopes."

The viewers in the live broadcast were continuously discussing this, and Flint let out a slight sigh. He knew why Miles Carter was following the Bloodthirsty Antelopes—Charles' team was almost in a position where they would inevitably die.

Even though Flint knew what would happen next, he didn't say much. He simply carried on with his monotonous commentary, pretending not to know anything.

Then, someone in the live chat asked:

"Could it be that Miles Carter wants to use the Bloodthirsty Antelope's power to defeat Charles and his team?"

Immediately, many viewers laughed. Someone commented that the person asking this question must be from Kingston, desperately hoping for Miles Carter's victory, which was why they were asking such an impossible question.

Many viewers in the live chat were raising doubts: the Bloodthirsty Antelope wouldn't leave the area it was currently occupying until it had hunted all the ferocious beasts in the area! Even if it were provoked, it would only chase for a short distance and couldn't possibly be lured to Charles' location.

And how could they ensure that the Bloodthirsty Antelope's attack target would be Charles and his team?

Such comments kept appearing in the live chat. The person who had originally asked the question began to explain:

"I am a Beast Mastery scholar specializing in Bloodthirsty Antelopes. What I said earlier is a real possibility!"

"The Frenzy Toxin from the Death's Night Raven can drive the Bloodthirsty Antelope into a full Frenzy state, at which point the Bloodthirsty Antelope will leave its territory!"

This new information quickly caught the attention of the viewers in the live chat. If it was true, it seemed Miles Carter was indeed planning to use the Bloodthirsty Antelope to attack Charles and his team.

That was not something a few level 4 or level 5 Beast Masters could handle. If the Bloodthirsty Antelope went into a Frenzy, Charles and his team would really be in danger of losing their lives!

Genosha's viewers in the chat immediately grew tense, scrambling to find more related information. However, the Bloodthirsty Antelope only appeared in the red zone of Celestial City, and there was very little intel available.

Fortunately, after much effort from Genosha's citizens, they managed to find another scholar who specialized in Bloodthirsty Antelopes. The scholar's response matched exactly what had been said in the live chat!

Now everyone knew the danger Charles and his team were about to face. Many of Genosha's viewers began to question how Kingston's genius Beast Master, Miles Carter, could have obtained information about the Bloodthirsty Antelope, which was unique to the red zone of Celestial City.

Had it not been for the sheer number of viewers watching the stream, and the appearance of a scholar specializing in this field, no one would have realized this issue.

In response to the doubts raised in the chat, Flint gave a serious explanation: "It's all just a coincidence. Viewers in the chat, please don't overthink this. Celestial City is a neutral country and will ensure fair treatment for all parties."

This kind of explanation might fool a child, but the majority of Genosha's viewers in the live chat didn't believe him at all.

On the other hand, Kingston's viewers began to shout even more fervently:

"You Genosha people have no shame! The real battlefield is about using everything you can! Only when you can do that can you truly call yourself strong!"

"Useless Charles, if he's really so capable, then he should go kill the Bloodthirsty Antelope!"

"Exactly! Stop questioning Celestial City's neutrality and claiming there's some kind of inside story. You're all just ridiculous!"

Earlier, when Charles used his longbow to wear down Miles Carter and Skylar from a distance, the Kingston viewers had already protested about the unfairness. Now, they had completely forgotten how they had acted at that time — mocking, provoking, even insulting.

Flint helplessly watched the ongoing arguments in the live chat, letting out a slight sigh. Even if there were something fishy going on, what could be done? No one had any proof. It was just unfortunate for someone as talented as Charles, who was like a monster in his abilities.

To be honest, Flint didn't want to see someone as gifted as Charles fall.

At that moment, while Flint was watching the chat, his expression suddenly changed.

A staff member nearby informed him of the latest news: Emperor Miles of Genosha had personally called the Emperor of Celestial City and applied pressure.

Miles had directly told the Emperor of Celestial City that if Charles were to fall due to some unfairness, Genosha would cut all trade and cooperation ties with Celestial City and would list Celestial City as a hostile entity.

Before Flint could process this information fully, he suddenly saw a figure in the live broadcast, rising into the air above the red zone, quickly flying toward the central canyon area.

Flint recognized that figure immediately — it was Nathaniel, Genosha's iron-fisted minister, an eighth-level Beast Master!

Nathaniel's figure appeared for just a moment before the live broadcast screen cut out, likely because Nathaniel didn't want to provoke too much attention.

Flint frowned. He hadn't expected Nathaniel, as a Genosha envoy, to take direct action and fly toward the central canyon area. It seemed he was likely planning to step in when danger struck and save Charles.

This was troublesome. Flint thought for a moment, then turned to the person next to him and said, "Inform Kingston about this."

Soon after, another figure appeared, closely following Nathaniel. It was Kingston's eighth-level Beast Master!

In the air above the red zone, Nathaniel calmly watched as Kingston's eighth-level Beast Master, Vincent, who was a wind-type Beast Master and highly skilled at flying, overtook him.

Nathaniel spoke coldly, "I didn't expect this... You really can't stick to the rules. Celestial City may claim to be neutral, but behind the scenes, it's already leaning toward Kingston, isn't it?"

Vincent sneered dismissively, neither admitting nor denying the accusation. He simply responded, "Nathaniel, we've known each other for a long time. You should know that if I stand in your way, there's no way you'll be able to end the fight in a short amount of time."

"This match has already been won by Kingston. If you insist on intervening, not only will you not save Charles and his team, but you'll also drag Genosha into a whirlwind of public opinion!"

Vincent succinctly laid out the stakes. He knew that Charles was Genosha's strongest genius, and Nathaniel, not wanting to see Charles fall, was impulsively trying to intervene when Charles was in danger.

As an eighth-level Beast Master and Nathaniel's enemy, Vincent wasn't going to let Nathaniel ruin his plans.

Vincent continued, "Charles killed one of Kingston's geniuses, and he must pay for it! You can save the other Genosha geniuses, but Charles must face the consequences."

Nathaniel took a deep breath. Vincent, being an eighth-level Beast Master like him, knew that shaking off his interference to save Charles in a dangerous situation wasn't going to be easy!

Furthermore, Nathaniel was well aware of what Vincent had said. He knew that the decision to intervene wasn't just his own; it had been Genosha's Emperor Miles who had contacted him at the earliest opportunity, demanding that Charles' life be preserved at all costs.

For Genosha, Charles was more important than anyone else!

In a normal match, Nathaniel believed Charles could handle all the dangers that came his way. But for the abnormal situations, that's where Nathaniel had to step in.

He wouldn't let Charles die!

Nathaniel let out a furious shout, and the air around the entire area grew heavy with tension.

Eight hexagram arrays appeared around Nathaniel's body. With unwavering determination, he shouted, "Get lost! If you don't want to die here, then get as far away as you can!"

Vincent, upon hearing Nathaniel's words, froze for a moment. He hadn't expected Nathaniel to insist on intervening. Then, a surge of anger flared up within him.
