Then, Liang Chen finally said, “Look around and choose whatever you like.”
In the mall, everywhere were top-tier luxury goods, each costing a fortune, countless women selected with their men’s company, planting a joyful kiss on their men’s cheeks after they swiped their cards. Their joy was evident.
Yet, Jing Haohao felt no interest in these opulent items. If she were with Shen Liangnian instead, she reckoned, she would be delighted.
Liang Chen accompanied Jing Haohao all the way from the first floor to the third, while she merely glossed over the items. Not once did she show any interest.
Assuming that Jing Haohao is simply not in the mood, Liang Chen stopped before a Chanel franchise on the fourth floor and led her inside by the hand.
Liang Chen didn’t have much experience with ladies’ items. Knowing that if he left Jing Haohao on her own, she might simply breeze through the selections just like before, he decided to sit on a sofa with her and had the salesperson display the products in front of them one by one.
“Miss, please take a look. Do you like any of these?” asked the salesperson politely.
Jing Haohao raised her head and looked at the bags and accessories, shaking her head afterwards.
The salesperson glanced at Liang Chen subconsciously. With his nod of approval, the salesperson remove the items and replaced them with a new batch.
Jing Haohao shook her head again.
Liang Chen seemed to be in a good mood that day, patiently requesting the salesperson to switch the items several times over. When Jing Haohao still shook her head, Liang Chen personally stood up and went over to the product section in the store.
While Liang Chen didn’t have much experience with ladies’ goods, his discerning eye was clearly evident. He immediately laid his eyes on the essence of Chanel’s collections and directed a salesperson to showcase everything in front of Jing Haohao.
This time, Jing Haohao didn’t even look at them. She simply said, “I don’t want it.”
Liang Chen’s face instantly turned cold. He had chosen items for her himself, and while her lack of appreciation was bad enough, she didn’t even give them a glance and rejected them outright.

Jing Haohao noticed Liang Chen’s wrath. Looking up, she saw his deep, piercing eyes fixed on her as if he might erupt at any moment.
This was a bustling mall filled with people. If he lost his temper, she would be the one left mortified!

Jing Haohao quickly thought of a plan, then spoke out in a soft and gentle voice, “I don’t like these things.”
