Chapter 912 912: Stealing A Kiss from the Sleeping Prince

Ella was able to have a private time with Liam when Uno left. Ella studied abroad to become a doctor. She wanted to help and find a cure for Liam. Of all the people there, she was the one patiently waiting for him to wake up.

She didn't expect that her puppy love and her admiration for Liam would also grow as time went by. He had become her addiction… her dream and her obsession. She would never give up until she found a way to wake him up from his coma.

Ella came back to join Dos and his team. She would assist them and would take good care of Liam.

"I'm back my sleeping prince. I guess you might not recognize me as soon as you wake up. I am a big girl now. A charming child turned into a beautiful woman!" Ella giggled at her own remarks.

Researchers say that the person in a coma could still hear the voice of the people around them so it's better to talk to them in a cheerful manner, telling them all good things and beautiful things.

Ella reached out, caressing Liam's face. He had been sleeping for twenty five years now.

"Liam… will you wake up if I kiss you? Just like the fairytale stories I've read during my childhood?" Ella said jokingly. She still got no response from Liam.

Then Ella stopped talking. Her eyes were fixed on his sleeping features. He was still as gorgeous as ever, even in his sleep. She touched his eyebrows. Then her fingers moved down, tracing his lips.

Looking at him, Ella had the urge to kiss him. She missed him so much and she endured not seeing him for a long time just to finish her studies, becoming a professional doctor!

"Liam? Will you get mad if I steal a kiss from you?" Ella mumbled, smiling mischievously.

As she was not able to resist the desire of her heart, Ella leaned closer to Liam. She stared at his face for a long moment, memorizing his handsome features and engraving them into her mind. And when her eyes were done feasting on her sleeping prince, her lips found their way instinctively to his.

When their lips touched, Ella felt her heart jump with both excitement and nervousness, and her stomach fluttered. She did it! She was stealing a kiss from Liam, her insides tingling in a pleasant sensation.

Her mouth seized his lips in a deep emotional commitment, her tongue nudging against his lips as if she was encouraging him to move. But she knew that it was impossible as Liam was still in his deep slumber.

After indulging herself in her deepest desire, Ella broke the kiss and caressed Liam's cheek. She rested her forehead against his and softly mumbled, "Liam, please wake up. Come back to us now. Everyone is waiting for you."

After saying that, a single drop of tear fell from the corner of her eyes. She was just hiding her sadness through her smile. But deep inside, her heart was in pain seeing Liam in this state. She was afraid that Liam would never wake up. That was her greatest fear.

Trying to compose herself and calm her emotions, Ella closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened them again, she moved her lips, planting a soft kiss on Liam's forehead.

"I have to go now, my sleeping prince. I need to work double time for you," Ella softly mumbled before turning around to leave. She came today to finally join Dos and his team. She would be working in Fiery Eagles as one of the Medical Doctors.

Ella didn't look back when she left Liam's ward. Because of that, she didn't notice that Liam's fingers moved when she was walking away.

Back to Fiery Eagles Training Camp…

Flint still couldn't get over what transpired in the waterfall. He was back to his station but his mind was still wandering off somewhere. He absentmindedly touched his lips while looking into the monitor without a focus.

He couldn't believe that he did something like that. It was against his principles as a man. He had been reserving his first kiss for the woman of his dreams. It was Ella. How could he let someone else steal that from him?

Flint was irritated and angry at Cassie but he was more furious with himself. He was also at fault here. His body acted on his own accord. He kissed her back as if he was bewitched by her. But of course, it was not the case. He was just carried away.

The moment his lips touched hers, Flint lost all his remaining rationality and his mind seemed to tell him "just go with the flow!" Before he could stop, he was already drowning in the sweet taste of her lips. So addictive!

"Damn!" Flint hit his head. "Why do I feel like I cheated on her even though we are not yet in a relationship?" Flint was referring to Ella. He wanted to cry. He made a great sin.

Now, he felt like he didn't have the right to face Ella and confessed his love to her. How would he do that? He just kissed a random girl with the same blue eyes as her. It was insane, right?

He had been scolding himself over and over again. He couldn't get those memories out of his mind. He didn't know what to do. He felt so embarrassed. What if Cassie was just playing with him because he was always targeting her and scolding her in front of her fellow trainees?

"Is this her revenge? Is she trying to ruin me and play with my feelings?"

"AAAH! I don't know anymore!" Flint tugged his hair tightly. This was the first time he felt so helpless and desperate. He felt so defeated. He wanted to blame Cassie but at the same time, he knew that he was at fault here as well.

Flint was still scolding himself for what happened when his phone suddenly rang. It was a call coming from the main headquarters. He immediately answered it, thinking that there might be an emergency.

His Uncle Uno wouldn't call him unless it was urgent. Besides, Uno was aware that he was busy in the training camp right now because of this screening.

"Uncle? What's wrong? Is there a problem in the headquarters?" Flint asked his Uncle inquisitively.

Uno's crisp chuckle could be heard from the other line. He was just so happy that his Nephew answered his call right away. It seemed like he could sense that his Uncle had an important piece of news to be shared with him.

"Where are you? I thought you were busy right now. Don't tell me you are slacking off with your duty?" Uno teased his nephew, not spilling the beans yet. He wanted to give him some suspense.

"Uncle! I'm doing my job…" Flint stopped midway as he recalled the kissing scene in the waterfall. 'Damn! Here we go again! Why can't I forget it?'

"Why did you stop? Did something wrong while you were on duty?" Uno asked him in puzzlement. He sensed that something was off with his Nephew. He sounded like he was troubled by something.

"It's nothing, Uncle. Now, back to you. Why did you call me at this hour?" Flint wanted to change the topic.

Cough! Cough!

Uno cleared his throat first, contemplating whether he would tell his Nephew directly or let him guess first.

"Uncle??? Are you still there?" Flint asked him again, feeling impatient.

"Of course, I'm still here. I have a piece of good news for you!" Uno said in his elated voice.

Flint was not in the mood so he just shrugged his shoulders and asked him lazily, "What is the good news all about?" He didn't sound interested at all.

"Guess who dropped by our Main Headquarters today??!" Uno decided to give him more suspense.

Flint just rolled his eyes skyward. "Uncle, I don't have time for this. Can you tell me already?"

"Fine! You are always impatient!" Uno crumpled his face because of Flint's reaction.

"Now, tell me."

"She's back… the woman whom you are always waiting for!" Uno finally said it.

Flint was confused for a moment. "Woman? Are you referring to…"

"Yes! Your long-time crush is back! Miss Ella is back! And she's here in the Headquarters right now!" Uno excitedly informed him.

Flint froze in his spot upon hearing that. His face was filled with complicated emotions. He didn't prepare his heart for this.

'What? She's back? Ella is here…' Flint's mind went blank and he just stayed silent for several seconds, trying to digest Uno's words.

"Hey, Flint… are you still there?"

Without saying a word, Flint dashed out of the room, grabbing his keys with him. He rode his motorcycle with one destination in mind. Fiery Eagles Headquarters! He wanted to see her. He missed her a lot!
