The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

Chapter 913 913: She's the One

Chapter 913 913: She's the One

In the training camp forests, the treasure hunts continued. The Blue Team already gathered ten treasure chests after two hours while the Green Team found fifteen treasure chests.

The Red Team didn't have even a single treasure chest in their hands as of now. Cassie's team members just woke up from their nap while Cassie's mind was still floating in the sky after getting a big score from Flint.

The kisses she shared with him were already engraved in her mind. Her heart was jumping with joy. Flint already completed her day. Getting a high score in this activity didn't matter to her. She was already satisfied with what she had achieved today.

But of course, since she was inspired, she wanted to do something for her team members. Cassie started to move, locating the other teams' location.

She would loot their treasure chests after ambushing them. This was the fastest way to win this round.

Cassie roamed around the forests and she summoned Scarlet to find and track her Team members. Cassie was moving in a flash.

In the middle of her journey, she bumped into Justine. He was there as an obstacle in finding the treasure chest. Someone had to fight him. If he would get defeated, he would give them five treasure chests in an instant.

But most of the team avoided crossing Justine's path. They didn't want to challenge him as he was known as the strongest fighter among the new members of the Fiery Eagles.

When it comes to physical strength, Justine was stronger than Flint.  However, Flint still defeated him in a one-on-one battle because Flint didn't only use his physical strength when fighting someone. He would always use his brain. Physical Strength plus Tactical Strategy. These two helped him win against Justine.

He was the only person who defeated Justine in a one-on-one battle.

"Hey, Miss 18, do you want to challenge me? If you win, I'll give you five treasure chests, but if you lose… you will have to fulfill my one wish." Justine spoke to her in his cheerful voice. He wondered if Cassie would accept the challenge.

Cassie just waved her hand as she refused to accept his challenge. "Master Ten, I know you are the most challenging obstacle in this forest. I wouldn't jump into a fire wherein I know that I would only get burned."

Justine let out a husky laugh after hearing Cassie's witty remarks. He liked her. Aside from being beautiful, she's smart and strong.

"Why don't you try? I'm not a dangerous man. You will see. I'm not hurting women," Justine tried to convince her. He wanted to know the extent of her fighting skills. He was curious about how good she was when fighting someone.

"Why? Do you discriminate against us women?" Cassie raised her eyebrow.

Justine immediately waved his hands and shook his head. "Please don't misunderstand. I didn't mean to say that."

"Hmm. Fine. I changed my mind now. I will fight you. But I have one friendly piece of advice for you," Cassie said, her lips tugging up in a mischievous but dangerous smile. "Don't treat me as a woman."

Justine just let out a soft chuckle and said "Okay. Game on!" He moved his fingers, inviting Cassie to make the first move and attack him.

Cassie just shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't offended by Justine's remarks. It's just that she didn't like the way he was treating her like a fragile object that could easily break.

She was strong but she had to hide it from others. But this is one venue wherein she could freely use her fighting skills and not worry about what other people would think about her. She was not a freak. It's just that she was blessed with this amazing supernatural power.

And she wanted to use this to protect her family and loved ones against the future threat of guardian warriors. She would like to use Fiery Eagles as her instrument to catch bad guys in the shadows

"Bring it on!" Cassie said, charging in Justine's direction.

Justine was caught off guard. She moved so fast. Before he could even blink, Cassie already closed their gaps. He was supposed to move and block her attack. But Cassie was like lightning. Before he knew it, Cassie's hand already landed on his neck, knocking him down in one swift move!

Thud!

Justine fell to the ground in an instant. "Oops, I'm sorry, Ten," Cassie mumbled, brushing off the dirt on his handsome face. She tapped his cheek before leaving him.

Five treasure chests were already reserved for the Red Team for defeating Justine. There were only twenty treasure chests they had to find. Cassie would leave that task to the Blue and Green Team. All she had to do was ambush them and steal the treasure chests in their possessions.

When Cassie left the area, someone came out of his hiding spot. He had been observing Cassie for a while now. He was like an invisible wind moving around. Cassie hadn't noticed him.

"She's the one… She is not an ordinary human. I saw what she did in the waterfall… she put a barrier to hide herself," the mysterious person mumbled. Then he moved closer to Justine who was still lying unconscious on the ground.

He just tapped his head and Justine suddenly woke up. "Huh? What happened to me, Eleven?" Justine asked him in confusion. He groaned, rubbing the spot where Cassie hit him.

"I found her." Eleven mumbled.

"You found who?" Justine asked him again.

"The person who can help us save our world," Eleven answered him meaningfully.

Justine's eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you referring to Applicant 0018? She was here. I don't even know how she was able to defeat me in three seconds. It's quite embarrassing!" Justine complained, covering his face.

"Calm down. You don't have to get embarrassed. You are no match for her. She's stronger than you think." Eleven patted Justine's back, consoling him.

"Shut up, Man!"

Eleven just shook his head, helping him to stand up.

"So what's the plan now, Bro?" Justine didn't know what was running in Eleven's mind right now.

"We have to bring her back to our world…" Eleven mumbled.

"But you said that she's powerful. Unless she is willing to come with us, we will not have a problem," Justine said, shrugging his shoulders. He continued rubbing his neck.

"But if not, then we have to force her. How can we defeat her?" Justine consulted Eleven.

"Every powerful creature has weakness. I think we can continue spying on her and find out her weakness. After that, we will use that to our advantage. No matter what, we should bring her to our world."

"Why don't we just ask her for help? Who knows she might listen to us and grant our request?" Justine was against the idea of forcing Cassie to come with them.

"That's negative." Eleven sighed deeply. "Her life is here. And she has no reason to help us. Unless we will force her. Besides, I heard that her family was from our world but they were chased out by our ancestors."

Justine lay back on the ground lazily. He had never expected that a day would come that they would have to beg Cassie to come with them to save their world. Their descendants made a huge mistake in the past.

"We are sent here to fulfill that mission. You have to be optimistic." Eleven encouraged him. They lived in this world for several years just to find the descendants of the demon god. Something chaotic was happening in the other dimension, the world where they originally came from.

"Okay, Eleven. I will try my best to befriend her. Just continue to monitor her secretly. And don't let her know about our powers." Justine reminded him.

"Don't worry about me. My power is sealed very well."

"You liar! You just used your healing ability just to wake me up!" Justine gently punched Eleven's shoulder.

Eleven just let out a soft chuckle. "I have to. It's too embarrassing letting you sleep on that ground. She didn't even use the 2 percent of her power but she managed to knock you down in three seconds." Eleven teased Justine.

"Aaaah! Shut up! I don't want to hear that!" Justine glared at him, covering his ears. He wanted to punch this guy.

But he couldn't deny the fact that Eleven was right. He felt so embarrassed. He wished that the ground would open up for him and swallow him. He just wanted to hide from this humiliation.

"Stop acting as a loser. Get up. Get back to work now! Just give her the treasure chests." Eleven pointed his fingers at the five treasure chests hidden under the big stone.

"I know. I'm getting up now. You don't have to remind me. Just get lost and stop teasing me!" Justine just pushed him away. Eleven let out another chuckle before he walked away, leaving Justine alone.

When Eleven was gone, Justine fell silent, just thinking about Cassie. "Are we not yet too late?"
