Chapter 924 924: Resistance from Her Family

Grandpa Lu: "Eh? Guardian Warriors are here?

Christian: "What?! Guardian Warriors asking for our help. Huh?! The audacity of them to do that! They are shameless!"

Christian erupted as soon as he heard that. For him, that was a ridiculous statement.

"They always come here to bring trouble for us. Why should we help them?" Christian didn't hide the hostility he felt towards the guardian warriors. Because of their last attack, they almost lost their grandpa.

Grandpa Lu also nodded his head in agreement with Christian's remarks. He was able to contact Zu Wan. The call finally connected and he informed Zu Wan to go to TrisZhen Mansion right away.

As they waited for Zu Wan, Cassie tried to explain her side to them as to why she wanted to help the guardian warriors.

"Brother, listen to me. The guardian warriors I met didn't look like bad people. They were sincere. And something big is happening there. A big war between guardian warriors!"

"This is why we should never get involved with them. It's dangerous!" Christian retorted.

Grandpa Lu could only dart his gaze back and forth between his two great-grandchildren. The two started arguing again in front of him.

"I said no! You can't help them!" Christian sternly said as he was worried about his twin sister's safety. Anything could happen in that other world. And they didn't know the current situation in that world.

If Guardian warriors started killing each other then they didn't care about them. Christian didn't have any plan to help them.

"Brother! Don't be close-minded and judgemental. Otherwise, you will become similar to those evil guardian warriors who didn't give our mother a second chance! Besides, not all guardian warriors are bad. Uncle Liam is the best example!"

Christian was not able to refute that. He just fell silent for a moment. Cassie felt proud of herself as for the first time she won an argument against her twin brother!

It did not take long when Zu Wan arrived at the TrisZhen Mansion. Since Grandpa Lu said that it was something urgent, Zu Wan immediately traveled to the mansion.

"Cassie!" Zu Wan hugged his granddaughter right away. She was busy in the training camp so Zu Wan couldn't see her often.

"Is there something wrong? An emergency?" Zu Wan asked the three of them.

Cassie nodded her head, putting on an adorable look. She wanted to be spoiled by her grandfather, Zu Wan. So whenever she wanted to request something, she would use her charm.

"Grandpa… please allow me to go to the other world. I want to help the guardian warriors!"

Zu Wan: "..."

Zu Wan was caught off guard by her words. He was not able to respond right away. Why would his granddaughter try to help those evil warriors?!

"NO!" Just like Christian, Zu Wan gave her a firm answer of  NO! "You can't. It's dangerous!"

Cassie crumpled her face and pouted her lips. She already expected this. Her brother and Grandpa Zu Wan refused to help the guardian warriors.

"But they can help us heal Uncle Liam and remove the curse! Their enemy is Mheera, the Head Shaman who put a curse on Uncle Liam! We have to help them!" Cassie tried to convince the three men.

"I bet Mom and Dad will be happy to hear this. They badly needed our help! I'll tell you everything. Please listen to me first." Cassie begged.

Cassie told them everything about the story she heard from Justine and Eleven. Christian, Grandpa Lu, and Zu Wan felt sorry for the guardian warrior who died after speaking up for Zhen-Zhen and Zu Wan in front of the council. She was loyal to Liam as well. But the evil warriors schemed together and she ended up getting killed by her fellow guardian warriors.

"Now that you heard the story… Can you now agree with me? We must help them. I have the power to do that. Please Grandpa, brother… allow me to go."

Grandpa Lu, Zu Wan, and Christian were still silent. They were still contemplating what they should do about it.

"I'm doing this for Uncle Liam as well. They can help us to find a cure… removing the curse so that he can wake up. Uncle Liam will definitely help them once he regains his consciousness. We don't have much time left. The remaining good guardian warriors are being hunted and killed by the evil ones! I can't let this happen!" Cassie was still convincing them to agree.

"We have to wait for your mother and father to come back before we decide on this. Coming to the other world is dangerous. Without enough power, you can't open the portal. What if you can't ever return here?" Zu Wan raised his concern.

"Grandpa, trust me! I'm powerful. Scarlet will always protect me. You trained me. Dad and Mom trained me to become powerful enough to protect my loved ones. I really wanted to do this!"

"Besides, no one knows when Dad and Mom are coming back," she added.

"Cassie… you can't do this alone. If only I had my power, I would help you. I will not allow you to leave alone." Christian also made his decision.

"Sigh. Can't you trust me? I'm doing this for all of us."

"Our decision is final. You are not leaving!" Christian declared with his stern cold voice.

Cassie just glared at him. She was annoyed because Grandpa Lu and Zu Wan supported Christian's decision.

"Fine! I'll go back to the training camp now!" Cassie left without saying goodbye properly. She used teleportation again.

The three men could only sigh helplessly. They knew how stubborn Cassie could be. They just hoped she would not create another trouble.

Christian had no choice but to use his authority as Zero, asking Flint to monitor Cassie's every move. He had a bad feeling about this.

And Christian's gut feeling was right. Cassie was planning something. Despite the resistance of her great-grandpa, grandpa, and twin brother, Cassie had made up her mind. She would come to another world together with Eleven and Justine.

'Hmmph! I'm an adult. I don't need their permission to do what I want!'
