The writing quality is pretty good but the pace of the story is a bit too slow for my taste, I read up to 20 something chapters which seems short, but to me it felt like hours have passed, it just got a little too boring for me. There’s some mystery involved and these chapters were mainly telling us about the MC’s backstory. The real story hasn’t really started yet but I just don’t have the interest nor patience to wait for it. We haven’t really learned anything about the cultivation system of the world and the MC, well I guess I can compare the MC to Naruto? He’s the optimistic type that’s hides pain behind his smile. He’s carefree but also becomes serious when discussing serious matters. On this point I think the author has written his character quite well. I’ve written all this just from reading 20 or so chapters, so the MC is established quite well.

For those looking for cultivation martial arts novels this is not it ,this is mostly Imperial court politics that just so happens to contain cultivation. The thing that hate about this kind of imperial court politics with cultivation is that a lot of people are at the whim of an emperor that is not that OP in personal strength. And usually the Mc is at mercy of Emperor and ministers at beginning until he gets personal power.
More chatpers would be appreciated as there are too little chapters.But this story has got potential
A really good novel though it only gets fun when he gets stronger. MC is not a simp or cold blooded just in between, the only thing that's bothersome is the solving cases part, sometimes it's really interesting sometimes it's just annoying. The characters are not NPCs and actually fun to read their interactions with the MC plus the novel has some good jokes in it as well.

I really like Japanese anime/Korean webtoon magicians. They're cute, wholesome, funny and are basically glass cannons with plot armour (cuz no enemy ever exploits this obvious flaw) on the other hand Chinese magicians/wizards in novels are sick bastards
I don’t know what the other guy was talking about but this is definitely not a C rank. I’m currently at chapter 79 after binge reading and it has been great so far. This has also given me LOTM vibes while it is way less about exploring the unknown mysteries, but the MC is very similar to Klein. So if you liked LOTM and particularly the MC, there’s a high chance you will like this book. This author definitely doesn’t write like an amateur, while maybe not comparable to the author of LOTM, but not too far away. As I’ve said I’ve only read 79 chapters, so I can’t say much yet. But if this quality continues then it definitely deserves a 10/10. The world isn’t based on a steam punk world like LOTM, but a Xianxia world, or is it Xuanhuan? Actually I think it’s more apt to say that it’s a mixture of both. The story has some similarities to LOTM, such as Spoilerthe chat group, and the way the MC acts(though he doesn’t stay a virgin forever

You know I read the other review of this novel and thought, it can't be that bad, but no it is.I was expecting some dark edgy stuff but these girls are just so unlikable and selfish that the hatred is justified.They lead him on the crush him down over and over emotionally.And he is always forced to apologize for mistakes he doesn't make or they put the party in jeopardy.And the protaganist is a great guy who is just being manipulated to the point you just feel bad for him.I pray to every God in existence that the protagonist doesn't end up with any of the three girls because I genuinely hate them.
What do I even say about this one? That my life has taken a turn for the worse the moment I decided to read this? That I feel there's a gaping hole in my soul knowing that this not only exists but was thought up, painstakingly written and then read by hundreds of people?I'm not gonna comment on the writing here; it's average for the webnovel scene, at least all the characters sort-of have their own personalities and I kinda get what's going on. Don't know what's up with the cover when spider-gwen doesn't even exist in this book, but i'll say this. This fanfic is probably one of the best marvel fanfics i've read yet and the author has so far not dissapointed me a single time. the multiverse aspects are really well handled and i never ever feel like they drag on, even when they're multiple chapters long. Another thing that makes this book one of my favorite is that the author is also really good at gathering hype for even the smallest things, like it seriously makes me want to be a fan of the hero they built. The extra chapters that they write that i would usually skip in a fanfic are also insanely good and not overly info dumpy. Even when they get in the way of the plot and serve as filler ( i only remember there being 2 ) I still happily read them because of how good they are. Anyways this is a solid 10/10 from me so far. Don't hesitate to read this.

What I mean by that is, he is rich, handsome, well built, charming, well mannered, intelligent, powerful and has for everything the right answer… Don’t get me wrong, I like an op mc who is intelligent but that doesn’t mean he has to be perfect. Little flaws keep the mc interesting but this mc has none.And I feel the Death of his parent is just used so he doesn’t have to hide himself and his powers at home, plus he can use his money however he wants without anybody questioning it. The part that bothers me the most is all the powers… I have written once a comment before, where I questioned why the mc needs to have this mix of all the different powers instead of a well fleshed out single power system, anyway is just a few chapters he gets the powers of Spoilerhunterxhunter, Star Wars, my hero academia, and five other fantasy universes.. I get, that this is the main point of this novel but at least let him work for it and not just wait a week or month for his gatcha spins to load up. That being said, I think this is a very well written fanfic and I enjoy the long chapters.Just hope there would be more balance and kick to the story.

I can respect the Naruto world but i didnt get into anime until i was around 20 or so. I tried watching Naruto but it was just too difficult, too many filler episodes, and way too childish and stupid. You should understand, watching something for the first time as an adult vs a being kid is completely different. Even though it can be childish, the nostalgia will let you still enjoy the show.

It’s only childish on the surface. There are actually a lot of grimdark things in Naruto if you pay attention to them. The fanfic’s actually do a good job of bringing those to the forefront and make you realize the inconsistencies between the content and the target audience.
It can be childish at first, but for real content one myst dive i to the world first. For that the child’s perspective is the best. It gets more mature with each episode and in the end those childish ones are remembered with nostalgia and emotions)

Went and finished that one on mtl, my first mtl actually so thanks. Was good but i feel like the author didn't really like naruto as a universe. Every character was tormented by the world and the mc, instead of making the mc look like he only cares about power and his own well being, it made it seem like mc just dislikes everyone and actively wants to hurt people even when it does him no good.
Just based of the fact I love Naruto fanfics...this better be worth it

The novel is bad to medium at best. First chapter was great, however after that it keeps getting worse and worse. The mc is super edgy, for example he was thinking something bad while holding a glass of water, because he got too much into anger he broke the glass (that is when he is 7 years old). I expected a nice plot, with a villain mc, however now he has made his entire family like they are victims of some other familys. This is Full hypocrasy mode. I reccomend you not to approach it, and read something better. I reached only till chapter 8 and so many things were wrong. Dropped

The novel is good, the mc is smart and overpowered. The only thing that I do not like is the weird feeling you get when you read it. If anyone has seen the anime Domestic Girlfriend, this is the same feeling. I tried reading this but I couldn't make it to chapter 5 due to the sheer disgust I have toward how flat and boring the characters are from the jump. Not even mentioning that I can tell that the overall premise is the cliche and f#cking stupid 'misunderstanding' trope. If you want to waste your time on some insufferable writing based around a misunderstanding that could be cleared up in a single conversation, go ahead. Thats because she is unrealistic 2d character. Author made her from a mold and she doesnt have any realness apart from her role thats need for the plot. Humans are complex and it takes skill a character to life with just words but here author failed to do so.It's like when video game characters try to look real but end up being creepy"uncanny valley", and I get that same weird feeling. If her character was too unrealsitc then it'd feel cartoony and 1D so we can laugh about it and move on but author put real effort so its got an upgrade but not enough so its just end up like this.

Just finished reading and the ending sucks. There are a few things that we can only assume happened after such as the MC marrying his other women. It was such an abrupt ending, it was mentioned that there was a higher realm above supreme grandmaster and that the Bai girl would soon reach it, but it never happened. All in all if you are reading for the cultivation, don’t bother. The cultivation is only there when it’s needed. Otherwise it’s just a comedy romance and sometimes serious story. There’s quite a lot of philosophical stuff and ‘war tactics’. Though explained in simple terms so it’s not a bother to understand. All in all it was a below average novel, readable, sometimes entertaining, sometimes annoying. The MC is also supposed to be ‘smart’, but he’s only smart when he needs to be and stupid all the other times. And he’s literally stupid for the plot.

What I learned from this novel is that…everyone around the MC has a screw loose in their head. Including the MC.
The harem is destroying this. I expected a true born arrogant villain who fights with the protagonist because he was well… evil. But what i get is a boy whose arrogance is as flimsy as a paper tiger that can’t do anything he actually wants to do because ‘reasons’. Bitch villains don’t care about reasons they do whatever they want. The only redeeming aspect of this novel are the characters they are the only ones that are amazing.
Arrogant and genius mc. I mean he has the ability so he can be arrogant as much as he wants, so I would say it's more like confidence. There are a few girls that he could sleep with, but till this chapter (49) he only slept with one. There are a lot of masochist in this novel and female characters are mostly some kind of perverted yanderes, but I still enjoyed it. For a casual read it's really good and entertaining, but in the long run I would not reccomend reading only these types of novels.All in all 4/5

if you have read Long Live, The Patriarch Is Taking Concubines Again then they know what the novel is about, it's basically the same just with a few different things.

These type of novels were not made for that most of them don't even give the wife and children names in this type of novels they are just tools for his cultivation

I'm not sure if the writer of this novel ever met a real human being, or is the writer a woman, the male characters in this novel are horribly written, the comedic undertones are not funny at all, world background is basically non-existent aside from a few locations that was detailed, the main character has a mental deficit, the background of the characters make no sense, especially for Lady Jade, imagine working for the same type of people that tried to rape you and rape your friend, the grammar and writing is good, but the entire story sucks.
I remember reading about 200 chapters long ago, and I was impressed with the author's imagination and the novel direction... But... There is one f**** twist that hurt my peace and I was afraid of reading it again.So, I honestly see no reason to stop yourself from giving it a try.
