Firstly, I'll say that this novel is quite short. If we look at each chapter individually, they are very short, and if we combine them into 2000 - 3000 words a chap, we'll be given a novel with 100 Chapters at most. However, just because the novel is short doesn't that it's bad, no, it's quite decent if you ask me.The novel has a simple story, about a guy who has a system that can return every investment by 10 - 5x, in this case, the FL to the story. In the story, we see how this can be seen as a strange thing to the other characters, especially the FL, who is confused due to his massive spending towards her. Unfortunately, the System of the novel is not that touched upon, as due to the short length of the novel it was not that explored deeply, as it just sort of existed in the background, as even I forgot it existed, only I was reminded of its existence when it returns the money the MC invested. Thus, I can say the System doesn't need to be there in the story, as it feels like it exists because the author said so, and we'll be left with no changes to the story, as it is not that touched upon. Just like another OP said in the comments, the author likely intended to make a young master-poor girl type of story but doesn't know how to do it, so instead just utilized the System element. Now, I'm not saying that the System is not that needed to the plot, it still plays a role in the plot, as it sort of justifies the amount of money the MC spends on the FL, and where the said money came from, as the MC's background is Low-Middle Class family.Even though the novel possesses a ton of flaws in the story, it is made up by the type of story it is, it is not meant to be a plot-heavy novel, it is just a high school romance story about two teenagers, as it is a lighthearted story with a decent plot. Thus is a great novel for a casual read, while looking for another good novel to read. It doesn't take itself seriously, and thus a lot of the plot points of the series doesn't make sense, so this novel won't be quite enjoyable to a lot of readers, but may prove worthwhile if you're looking for a casual read, while browsing or waiting for others novels.So I rate this novel a 7.5/10.Now, the novel is not that great if you're not that into this sort of story, so the rate of this, in general, is 6 - 7/10, as it mainly focuses on the two main characters, the ML and FL, so the other characters of the series are mostly outshined, and doesn't have a lot of screen time.
Although short it has mostly been an enjoyable read. Even though the novel's ending can't be said to be bad and is a good ending in its own way, I just wish there was more. Maybe a few more side stories? It seems the author's uncertainty about his writing career and a few other factors caused the story to end earlier than planned, but it is still a worthwhile read if you are looking for something light-hearted.All in all what to look for in this novel:- Sweet romance.- straightforward plot.- No Harem- No Braindead charactersThis novel doesn't take itself too seriously and is good for a casual read. So, if you are someone who likes to dig deep into every plot point (like the money source), you probably won't enjoy it.

Have read all available chapters (70). It's a good read imo, but don't expect things to be completely logical in terms of how things would work irl. Given his location is constantly being broadcast, it's extremely likely that there would be people abusing that and messing with the show if it actually happened. Also they just allow him to steal and commit crimes whilst letting him keep the money, which wouldn't work at all irl. It's extremely clear in the latest chapters where he straight up Spoilerproperly murders like 15 drug dealers who have taken a family of 4 hostage, whilst the live broadcast remains on and then after is praised by the police for stepping up.I think once you accept these things then you can really enjoy how things play out and how MC plans things and outsmarts the team trying to capture him.

This is really interesting. The plot, characters, and setting isn’t really crazy or anything but it’s fun to read. Like other people said, it’s really similar to Starting By Acting As A Bank Robber, I Shock The World, but that novel had a terrible rushed ending while this novel has 1000+ chapters so I doubt it’ll end quickly, if anything they’ll probably drag it out endlessly. The premise is that the mc and many other (others aren’t really important) are chose randomly as ‘futigives’ in this show where famous people lead police officers to find them. Everything is live-streamed, including the ‘fugitives’ POV and the famous people’s POV. Of course neither side can view the livestream, and the famous people leading the police officers can only view cameras normal police officers can view. It’s usually pretty simple for the police officers to find them but the mc is different as he got a Peerless Bandit system. This system gives him points to use on skills and physical/intelligence stats for however many shock points he gets from the livestream audience. Thus, the mc needs to act audacious and destroy the police officers and famous people with his intelligence, wit, and skills. That’s how the story has gone for the past 70 chapters, but it seems there’s 1410 chapters, which makes it seem there will be more to the plot later on since this game show isn’t supposed to be that long. So honestly I would recommend this is you don’t want to think too much and want something to read to quickly pass time.

The book is all about political intrigued, and development of industry and economy. That's it! For wars? Watching YouTube videos about the battles in 19th, 20th, WW1 and WW2 is much more enjoyable and immersive. The author wrote the battles like what you would read in Wikipedia and sometimes much worse. For e.g. "The southern front army defeated the 100,000 Ottoman troops and captured [blank] city and the path to Constantinople is open."This is what you'll read in battles, which is a fking battle report. You won't even read any strategic moves of division, regiment, platoon and even in squad levels. And reading about the soldiers life can be counted and in small scenes, and it is the same to small characters like workers and peasants.In fact there are so much things the author left out in WW1 arc that can picked the readers enthusiasm again, in the end you'll just get bored reading of battle reports. Only planes and ships was given a lot of sentences about their battles, for tanks and submarines, you can only read it in battle reports. For all the preparation that the MC did for WW1 in the end it was boring.Conclusion: Watching history battles is much better.

Story: The MC is a male, the story starts in a village, there is a strict hierarchy in the village and almost nobody is allowed to go out of the village by the village chief, the MC is kinda looked down upon by other due to his grandpa making some problems or mistakes in the past so he is like an outcast. Then some soldiers comes to the village to fight a changeling and they conscript the magic users from the village and MC goes along with the youths among them is the granddaughter of village chief. They defeat the monster with some modern earth physics application and somehow blow up the monster. Then back at the village the MC somehow upgrades his class fights the village chief and spelndidly loses and chief let's him know some secrets to his grandpa's past andthen he gets out of the village and travels to nearby city and join some kinda approximation of adventurers or mercenary guild or it could be the gaurds in the city too....done remeber much.....and this is all I remember

Much more trashy, cliched kingdom-building novels have a score above that.The novel is not perfect and it has huge problems with a slow pace, but for me it is 4/5, just because the mc was able to partially reject the "morality" of a person from the 21st century and adapt to the reality of the early Middle Ages.

Novel deserves a 1 maybe 2 out of 10. The mc goes for head on fights with 0 plans. His decisions are a bit irksome, for the readers who like using their brain. Actually the system is incredibly op, but I have issues with how the mc uses it. The novel idea is great but there is a major issue on the implementation part of it. I do not recommend it.

However there at no point seems to be a drive for the protaganist, he just goes from one thing to the next like the flowing of a river. another issue i have is as it swaps from perspective to perspective there is nothing to indicate it so as one person speaks and then with no warning a guy in another city is having a chat with someone else, no seperate paragraph or indication nothing so at those points you have no idea who is talking an why the conversation went on a total tangent until several lines later when it finally says who it is. TLDR : overall good story and idea execution could be better 3.5/5

Not a bad book if you are looking for Cultivation/Fantasy with a Yuri subplot. As for cultivation, the author doesn't really get hung up on cultivation levels, although they are present here. But the novel is more like an ordinary fantasy, but in a cultivator setting. Battles in the novel more or less interesting and readable. Romance is present here and a lot of time has been given to it and it is presented much better than in other cultivator novels. In general, if you like Yuri and Cultivator novels, then you should like this work. But don't expect much from the cultivator part of the novel.

Word of advice for anyone that needs it:Everyone has their own thoughts and preferences, just because they like or dislike doesn't mean you would too. There were many novels where I enjoyed reading them, but dislike by others just because it has a controversial element. Tbh I have skipped many novels because I have read the reviews before the novel itself but you have to judge the comment itself, the reviews that describe the mc are normally the ones you should look for. Those that say "ew, there's Yuri in it" are better off ignored unless they it is 'ntr', then you can skip it immediately

He either likes it or she hates it, his legibility determines if hes emotionally driven. what we need to ignore is all these high rated cn novels that simply doesnt deserve its ratings and single comment boons like its a masterpiece. Chapter 868This novel is hard to rate because it contains too much sex that you have to see it as a smut novel. But not any real variety in the sex scenes themselves.You basically have a mc that is good to his allies and the devil for his enemies, though not too dark. The novel in a simple sense is see beauty, capture beauty and then use beauties to control their families. Issue is there are to many beauties that all that you like have to little screen time.The good part of this novel in my opinion is the story progression. It does not feel boring.If i have to rate it for its goal...read it till a fap scene then use that as fap material and then read further till next fap scene. I would rate it a 7.5/10. Mostly because of the length of the novel itself that keeps you engaged and not the pure quality because as mentioned the sex scenes are kinda generic.

This is no romance novel despite it being a female MC. Sure, she had to deal with infatuated teens, but she did so kindly and outright stated her intentions to be just friends.The world building in the novel was amazing, I liked how the empire she was in was put together. The only weak point was a notable lack of respect towards the nobility. It seems lesser nobles and commoners got away with being rude or outright aggressive towards high nobility without any consequence for their actions, which doesn't make sense. Why would that system of government hold together or anyone observe the social protocols in that case.Striking a person for any reason was unlawful. I'm thinking it was similar to modern day British isles. They have nobility, but people could disrespect them and there is little the nobility could do about it. It just doesn't make sense for a culture in the medieval period to allow such freedom. How could they enforce discipline in an Empire in more or less perpetual war on and off with a neighbor for hundreds of years?The MC put up with a lot of trash in this novel without becoming mean about it herself. She got revenge for slights and trouble in more subtle ways. She just didn't overreact to things - she was incredibly wealthy and there was little trouble she couldn't fix with money or her position. The MC didn't resort to permanently destroying the lives of teenagers she put it because of school arguments. In truth, all of them repented of their actions eventually and considered her a friend. Spoiler(except 2 who had a bad ending)The MC did indeed kill people or cause their death or maiming - but on adults only.
Well I read this on Royalroad and I really like this novel. the characters are mostly likable and it has some decent twists. the world building is good and while there is not an insane amount of character development, it's not 0 either
If you like a strong independent mc then you would be disappointed, for a 40 year old women to be this naive is insane, shes too solf hearted the mc know it herself, and she treated the characters like grandchildren that doesn't know better but the in reality shes just delusional, she makes herself believe that something is ok then act as if everybody oberreacted but would a 40 year old women really think that kissing on the lips is ok because someone is a friend and it's just a goodbye kiss and nothing else? If she herself know that her "friends" is young and she a mature womam(mentaly?) Thats more weird tbh

It's just a kiss and not all that meaningful to her.You're 40 and there's a 15 or 16 year old teen saying he loves you and begs for a kiss. She didn't want to kiss him, but did it out of spite because Alessa Hart just influenced him again right in front of her and got him all confused, ruining the effort she had made to bring him around to join her circle of friends.She kissed Constantine because she wanted to one up Alessa and bring Constantine's attention back on her. There was also a little competition there with Alessa, Tori wanted to outdo her at her own game.BTW, the MC is no virgin 40 yr old either. She was an independant woman who did as she pleased, and loved to travel all over the world. Foodie and thrill seeker. Her relations with men or women were never explicitly stated in the novel, but she did start laughing at the boys once when they argued about size. She prefers them a "little better than average".
I read this one on RR. This novel starts out as a somewhat blatant ripoff of "My Next Life as a Villainess; All routes lead to doom" And it was good, quite funny, and poked fun at the "meta" of villainess style novels, while establishing a realistic world.As the novel progresses due to the lack of major adversity facing the titular Tori the novel leads into a sort of lull Slice of Life+ Business/"empire" management style for a long period of time. The Humor and meta references slowly fall by the wayside, and imo the novel is worse for it. In the more recent chapters while I won't say Tori experiences actual long term loss or hardships there is at least opposition or hurdles to her progression regularly.On the whole this novel is easy to recommend to fans of 'villainess" novels, slice of life fans, and even has significant appeal to fans of business/noble management type novels. Just don't expect a lot of character growth or romance despite being set in an "otome" game setting.
