Chapter 1086: Her Fate Chooses Its Fate
Chapter 1086: Her Fate Chooses Its Fate
Athena looked behind her. It was just as Virgil had said. She had truly messed up. The unborn babies followed her through the portal.
they were in their hundreds of thousands, and that was her rough estimate. which only increased in number the further they progressed.
However, they had entered more familiar territory. After all, this was the place. Athena spread her senses outward. because of her increase in power, she could reach even further than ever.
She could tell that a couple of hundred miles to her left was were the mother hell beast and her kids had gone to feed off the mellow of souls that grew into twisted flower abominations.
Focusing her senses, she could tell in what direction that she needed to go. After all, her goal was the Hell beasts she had seen the other time, they were in chains.
She directed the hell beast baby underneath her and it rushed in that direction.
The babise were like a million hungry ants, bulldozering through the terrain.
Devils that were within their dungeons saw the chaos outside and retreated back into their dens. Apparently they were similarly aware of how frustrating these creatures could be. And thus went back into hiding.
From time to time, some of them will mount the body of the hell beast baby, and she would attack them, while the hell beast baby tore some into shrewds.
Fortunately, they were easy to destroy, but there were truly endless.
This was hell, the home to sinful souls that would never find peace. These were all aborted children of women in all nine earths. they may be fragile, but because of their numbers, they were practically endless.
Once more athena exhausted her numbers.
At this point, if the aborted babies did not reach the Hell beast baby, she would not attack it, only firing her arrows into the center of their midst, far off in the distance.
Explosions occurred nearly everywhere, but these things were not scarred of death.
Fortunately, she had reached her destination. Just ahead where ruins. These structures were ancient and huge. The entrance to which, Athena and the Hell beast baby looked more like rats entering through a huge door.
The ruins had their walls bathed with ancient runic symbols. And even carvings of ancient menacing demons torturing human souls as they begged through their suffering.
It also had picturistic carvings of hell beasts feeding on human souls, some of them being torn apart like paper.
but the truly amazing part was that, whether it was the runes or the pictures, what was used to form them were actual souls, mourning out their pain.
Meaning that souls in pain were used to draw out other souls in pain. It was an indescribable display of torture that embodied both art and nature of demons.
Unfortunately, Athena was not in the mood to enjoy the scenery. Rather, she rushed as fast as possible. These babies chasing after her were not restricted from this place.
Fortunately, they arrived in time. just ahead was a gathering of this incredible beasts, they looked to be resting.
Athena smiled on seeing them. However, just when the baby hell beast would make it just a few hundred meters to the first one, one of its legs kicked against a stone, and it tumbled, rolling on the ground as it flung Athena to the ground.
She tumbled a bit. Of course because of her increased strength, this much was not enough to hold her down. However, it was indeed problematic for her as The aborted babies rushed for her.
impressively enough, when their long fingers and teeth sank into her flesh, the pain was not felt by her cells, but rather her soul, which was a very unique pain to feel.
she screamed loudly as her Deep demon magic blasted outwards, engulfing the entire place, instantly turning everything around her to mushed meat.
However, regardless of this obvious threat to their lives, these things did not stop attacking.
At the same time, the hell beast baby was also fought at the side, tearing and ripping them apart. their claws could not penetrate its rock hard skin, but it was still a nuisance to it. Besides, they attacked soft parts of its body like its inverted eye.
There was also trouble for Athena. This was the first time she was using Deep demon power like she had just done. she really did not know how to use it and had inevitably used too much and some fired in the wrong direction. This much magic from her would have made more damage if she knew a technique or the like.
However, this was something that she was greatly lacking in. Then again, it did not stop her from using the blast again and again, which led to her fatigue and bow she discovered that she was getting dizzy.
the attacks had been cutting into her soul. With her improved senses and control over her cells, a cut to her body was something she could easily fix, but a cut to her soul was deeper, a part of her that she had never ever explored.
Slowly, more of them swarmed her body and she fell to the ground, she struggled, but her body felt increasingly heavy and soon, she was too tired to even push one of these aborted babies off her body.
at such a time, her eyes closed up and she wondered why things had to end when she was so close to her goal.
It was at such a time that it happened. It was as if the blood in her veins, desperate for survival, pushed into her will, unable to resist the judgement of the fates.
Once more, it happened again.
Since the last time it happened, the sisters of fate had been analysing Athena’s fate and looked at it with a very perculiar look wondering how one could not only survive hell but choose the part by which their end will happen or not happen by themselves.
After all, fate was a very predicted path. They were many that believed that they could control its end result but forget that forces of the world were far greater than them and only power truly had control over the world.
After all, what would an individual that could not even protect themselves from a bullet do if a meteorite fell on them. Protecting one’s self from such a thing was impossible.
Having fate in ones hands was only a subject those capable of consuming stars could proudly claim.
However, Athena was literally an ant compared to such creatures and yet her fate was choosing how it wanted to end.
This had happened before and now, as they stared at it, the string of fate had loosened itself from the web again.
they watched in facination at this.
"This is impossible. First we had to deal with the morningstar’s pet and now another freak!?" the Toddler sister spoke up.
"We need to cut it in the bub before it becomes a problem to us." The old woman sister of fate added as she streached to grab it. However, this fate string as if having a life of its own, dodged her old skinny fingers, like a stubborn insect.
Even the other Sisters of fate all using the same eye that they passed around tried to catch it, but it was of no use. Instead it flew and then settled at another web strings of fate, similarly attaching itself to a thicker, more robust and stronger strand of fate, this one stone in a more power gold light than most.
"Unbelievable. She is connected to them? How is that even possible. That is clearly a mortals’s fate string. How did Cuban even create such abominations?" the middle aged one screamed in annoyance.
At such a time, in the real world, back in hell, something incredible happened.
The runes on the neck of one of the chains of the closest Hell beast suddenly shone in a precise red light, and the Hell beast opened one invereted eye. this eye blazed like the rising sun of the morning. Its pupil looked around, settling on the sight of Athena beinf swarmed.
And then it slowly opened its mouth.
As it did, a fierce suction force pulled the abominable babies in. It was like a bottomless pit. It did not affect Athena nor the hell beats baby, only the abominations that assaulted them.
The abominations, in their many hundreds of thousands were pulled into this vacuum as large as nine school buses, stacked horizontally on each other.
In only a few seconds, they were all gone, and then the Hell beast closed its mouth, its one eye going back to rest as the rune around its neck glowed no more.
It was a while before Athena could move. She slowly pushed through the pain to help herself up.
And then she starred at the hell beast in surprise. However, there was still more....
