?Chapter 29: Chapter 29 This is What You Call a Young Lady’s Temper Chapter 29: Chapter 29 This is What You Call a Young Lady’s Temper Bo Mu continued to press the keyboard without a pause.

Garbled text: “I haven’t seen you scared in many years, I really kind of miss that.”

This garbled account appeared the night after she first went to school to find Sheng Xian, when she happened upon Bo Mu speaking ill of her to Sheng Xian, which led to an altercation between her and Bo Mu.

Bo Mu was her classmate, and although the incident back then was limited in scope, Bo Mu knew those people, so there was a good chance she was informed.

Aside from Bo Mu, no one else on the dinner list had any connection to her past.

All signs pointed to Lu Jingyan being unable to shake the suspicion that this persistent garbled messenger was Bo Mu.

She put away her phone and quickened her pace.

Bo Mu heard footsteps and turned her head slightly.

When she saw Lu Jingyan, she immediately locked her phone screen, but Lu Jingyan still managed to catch a glimpse of the familiar Emotion page before she exited.

This coincidence erased any doubt from Lu Jingyan’s mind and turned it into certainty.

Bo Mu had never liked her. Back in school, she would flatter her to her face, pretend to be friends, then turn around and badmouth her to other classmates.

Bo Mu had a crush on Sheng Xian, and, coincidentally, she also had her sights set on Sheng Xian.

How could someone as petty as Bo Mu rest easily? She must have been unable to accept it, creating a fake account to get back at her.

It was the past she least wanted to be reminded of.

It had plagued her like a nightmare for so many years.

It just wouldn’t leave her alone.

Lu Jingyan felt her rationality slip away in that instant, and her gaze towards Bo Mu became incredibly sharp, “Is this fun for you?”

Bo Mu was taken aback by the question, “What?”

Seeing the confrontational look on Lu Jingyan’s face, Bo Mu frowned. There might be paparazzi mixed in at such an event, and she didn’t want to have any conflict with Lu Jingyan that might end up trending online later.

“Lu Jingyan, if you want to go crazy, do it on your own, don’t drag me into it.” Bo Mu took a half-step back and turned towards the restroom.

Lu Jingyan grabbed Bo Mu’s arm and yanked her back, “I’m asking you, is this f***ing fun for you?”

“Lu Jingyan, are you sick or something?” Bo Mu, also beginning to get annoyed by Lu Jingyan’s inexplicable questioning, tried to shake off her arm, “Lu Jingyan, please let go of me.”

Lu Jingyan, seemingly deaf to her words, kept a blank face and stared at her, “If you don’t like me, you could be upfront about it. Is playing these sneaky games behind the scenes that interesting to you?”

Bo Mu’s phone was clutched in her hand, and as she struggled, the phone swayed in front of Lu Jingyan. Lu Jingyan found it particularly annoying and snatched the phone, flinging it against the opposite wall, “Do you know what you look like? You’re like a maggot in the gutter, repulsive, unable to withstand the light. It’s pitiful, really, that you have to live like this for the rest of your life.”

Bo Mu laughed it off in disbelief, finding Lu Jingyan completely unreasonable, “Lu Jingyan, have you taken the wrong medication? If you’ve got a hole in your brain, go see a doctor. Why are you throwing a rich girl tantrum in front of me?”

Before she’d even finished speaking, Lu Jingyan slapped her.

Bo Mu was completely stunned by the slap.

Lu Jingyan grabbed her chin and lifted her face, “This is what you call a rich girl’s temper.”

Bo Mu came back to her senses, touched her face in disbelief, and glared at Lu Jingyan, “You hit me?”

“I’ve wanted to hit you for a long time. All the disgusting things you did behind my back back then—I never picked a fight with you. Did you think I was easy to bully? After all these years, you still dare to step on my head?” Lu Jingyan applied more pressure with her fingers, leaving a deep set of fingerprints on Bo Mu’s chin, “Does it feel good to disgust people behind their backs, huh?”
