Chapter 917 917: Cassie's Confession
Chapter 917 917: Cassie's Confession
Cassie excitedly proceeded to Flint's quarters. After their passionate kiss, she wanted to see him. She was over the moon as Flint didn't resist him. He even responded to her kiss with the same intensity.
She was summoned by Flint to receive her punishment for breaking the rule of drinking alcohol in their sleeping quarters. Her members already received punishment.
She would gladly accept it as long as she could see Flint before going back to their quarters. Upon reaching the door, Cassie knocked, waiting for Flint to let her in.
Soon, the door slid open and Flint came to her view. Cassie was not able to control her emotions so she pounced on him as soon as she saw him.
Meanwhile, Flint caught her in his arms when she threw herself at him. He blinked his eyes several times as they hugged each other for a second.
When he realized that he was not supposed to do this, Flint immediately broke the hug, gently pushing her away.
Cough! Cough!
Flint cleared his throat before speaking to her.
"Watch your actions, Applicant 0018. Don't just throw yourself to someone–"
Flint was not yet done lecturing her when Cassie cut him off.
"Cassie. Just call me by my name. And of course! I will not throw myself to anyone but you! Only You!" Cassie declared, making Flint speechless.
'Oh, God! What should I do to her?' Flint rubbed the space between his brow.
"Cassie! Let's talk," He said with a serious expression on his face.
"What do you want to talk about?" Cassie reached for his hand, grabbing it as he glanced at him expectantly. The charming smile on her face never left.
Flint fell silent for a moment. He didn't know how he would bring it up, especially now that Cassie was giving him this joyful expression. He wondered if Cassie would be hurt once he voiced out his real feelings.
Flint took a deep breath and finally said what was on his mind. "The kiss… it was just a mistake. I'm sorry. We should forget about that incident in the waterfall."
The smile on Cassie's lips disappeared as soon as she heard those words from Flint.
"I-I can't do that," she mumbled, clenching her fists. "For me… it wasn't a mistake!"
Flint held her shoulders and insisted, "You have to erase it from your mind. That means nothing. Do you understand?"
Flint's words were like arrows hitting her heart. How could he tell her that it meant nothing? For her, it meant Everything!
Cassie lowered her gaze as she tried to hide the pain in her eyes. She liked Flint so much. But Flint didn't want to reciprocate her feelings.
'Is it because of her? He has someone in his heart. But why? Why did he respond to my kiss? Why gave me false hope only to shatter it right away?'
Cassie tried her best to keep her emotions in check. She didn't want her negative emotions to affect her mind, otherwise, she might lose control of herself.
The fire within her was also trying to come out. She wanted to vent out but she had to maintain her cool and suppress her power from getting out.
Scarlet, her fire dragon, could also feel her pain and sadness. She was heartbroken for her master.
After a while, Cassie removed his hands that were holding her shoulders. She was mad and at the same time, sad.
Without further ado, Cassie grabbed Flint's shoulders, shoving his body to the closed door of his quarter.
Thud!
Flint's back hit the door. Cassie pushed him, pressing him on the closed door. Flint was caught off guard by her action. She was surprisingly strong. He couldn't remove her hands. She was grabbing his shoulders tightly.
"What are you– uhm~" Flint was silenced by her when she crushed her lips on his lips harshly.
Flint couldn't believe it! Cassie was kissing him forcibly right now. He couldn't move. He was trapped and cornered by her. And he felt helpless under her hold and… Kiss.
Cassie was seizing his mouth, biting his lips to keep them apart. When he opened his mouth, she forced her tongue between his teeth, searching for his.
Her kiss was overpowering and rough. Flint could only succumb to the forceful domination of her lips. She was ravishing his mouth with a savage conquest.
'Damn! I can't push her,' Flint lamented to himself. He was supposed to be the one punishing her but here she was, giving him the punishment he deserved for hurting her feelings.
'I have to stop,' Flint thought to himself. But his body was contradicting his mind once more.
His hands subconsciously held her waist, the other one was now holding the back of her head as he responded to her kiss. His lips and tongue moved, wrestling with hers.
Both of them were now passionately and aggressively kissing each other. Cassie clung to him tightly, not letting him go.
As they were too immersed in this burning passion, someone suddenly knocked outside the door. At first, they didn't notice it. But when Justine's voice was heard, Flint and Cassie made a sudden stop.
"Ninth, are you there?" Justine asked, still knocking on the door.
Flint didn't know whether he should be grateful or not for Justine interrupting them. Cassie finally let go of him, stepping back to give each other a little space.
Flint didn't know whether he should turn around and open the door, or continue talking to Cassie and not letting Justine in.
"Ninth?" Justine continued calling him.
This time Flint sighed deeply before reaching for the door. But Cassie stopped him by holding his elbow.
Flint glanced at her with complicated expressions on his face. He did it again! He kissed her against his will. He lost control of his own body.
"I like you… that's why I kissed you. That's why it means a lot to me… I truly like you!" Cassie didn't waste time as she confessed her feelings to Flint.
Flint: "..."
He was rendered speechless.
